I mean really, how obvious does it have to be?

/r/MonsantoCompany/ is a joke. A troll. A hoax. An elaborate prank.

Open your goddamn eyes.

It seems that everywhere I post that info it gets downvoted pretty quickly. Whoever is running this troll attempt is working pretty damn hard!

They want attention. We constantly give it to them. They win.

It's the same deal as back in the 80's and 90's with prank calls. I never kept calling folks that just hung up. I'd call the ones that screamed and cursed about it. I know, I know. I am dating myself with that info. LOL!

Never knew it existed until you just pointed it out. Apparently there seems to be an enormous readership from reddit of 110.

Idk, they seem pretty real when I message them. And they reply right back with their own phone numbers located in a location that is plausible to be Monsanto HQ.

How do you know the numbers are fake?

[deleted]

Well to be honest, I don't. They have consistently replied to my comments and have referred numerous times to the monsanto website. They make up names and use it consistently. They seem to be only pushing information that's strongly associated with Monsanto's viewpoint. They have a thorough knowledge of their own policies. You are correct that I have not seen any evidence connecting the two.

What test would you devise that would allow me to test your hypothesis?

Edit: In addition, they use the same username as on their facebook page: facebook.com/MonsantoCo , which stands for MonsantoCompany.

Is there an anonymous way to do it?

[deleted]

Why don't you do it?

[deleted]

I called it. It was a google voice subscriber.

Idk. It might be. Maybe it is one person who is just trying to get people to fill up a friends voicemail. It would be a lot for that to happen though.

It's a bot. It's spamming pieces of information over and over again and just trolling everyone who is gullible enough to believe it.

I have gotten personal replies that seemingly address content specific to my question. Should I interpret it as an eerily specific barnum/forer effect, even though they responded in turn to my questioning?

Link to the response?

Honestly; this reeks of troll.

Have you tried calling or tracing those numbers?

Both. One has an area code in Virginia. The other one goes to the CIA hq main phone line.

That doesn't throw any signs to you that it's just a troll?

It does. I'm getting suspicious now.

Do a google search on them, "Rachel C"s phone and fax numbers will bring up CIA.gov...

Wow. So it must be a troll then?

Either that or the CIA is doing it...

Well then it's an even bigger conspiracy...
