Can we add a 'Removed' tab to the top of conspiracy?

104  2012-11-06 by [deleted]

I think a lot of stuff gets downvoted/removed before many of the people on conspiracy get to see it. I would love to troll browse through the posts that have been removed and I think a lot of users would agree that it would be a good addition.

Thoughts? How do we make this happen?

*Edited so people don't think I'm aiming to troll removed posts on conspiracy

I support this.

If you want to see stuff that has been downvoted view the reddit as new http://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/new/?sort=new

/r/uncensorship to see what is removed.

I may be wrong but the sorts of things you are asking for are not implementable by mods.

Just go to the /r/ModerationLog. Conspiracy is one of the subreddits it covers. But you won't find much from /r/conspiracy there. We don't remove much. Now /r/politics is a different story.

I can vouche for this as well. There are very, very few posts removed here, but r/moderationlog and r/uncensorship are the best places to view any removed posts. If you look around there much, you'll see that we don't remove many posts at all.

Correct me if I am wrong but with regard to /r/conspiracy, it is not necessary to view /r/moderationlog , although perhaps spam filtered yet to be confirmed as such would appear in /r/moderationlog and not /r/uncensorship.

You would love to "troll" through them? I really hope you what you mean is that you would like to browse through them. To "troll" through them, to my understanding, is to go around and bash/debunk/naysay them just to be annoying. You don't mean that...right?

Got it. Apologies. You are correct. I got caught up in the manner that Reddit specifically describes the word and temporarily forgot the more common definition and usage of it.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Peace.

This guy is a tool. Redditor for 16 days, asking for mods to do something that mods can't do...

I wouldn't go as far as to call him a tool, per se. Seemed like a decent chap in the brief exchanges I had with him anyway.

Whatever brah don't care.

Debunk = troll ? I don't know about that.

Your assessment is actually correct. To actually successfully debunk a thing is not to be a troll. It is the very opposite of it, as a matter of fact, because to successfully debunk a thing is to show it to be false or fake - which is actually a service that is being rendered by bringing everyone closer to the truth of a matter. In this sense, I actually agree with you.

However, many things that are said to be debunked actually are not, and most that call themselves debunkers or expend a lot of energy in that endeavor tend to have motives that are not only far from constructive, but they ultimately end up doing more harm (to themselves and others) than would otherwise ever be the case.

man, mods banned me from r/conspiracy what do you need the removed tab for? What is the point?

Do you think this subreddit is some kind of free zone, some virgin place-ground with no butthurt paid shills moderators?

This post will be removed.

Not sure why but when my mind summarized what you said, it was 'Assault behind it'. And for some reason this image popped into my mind.. A Salt and behind... i don't know.

Why did 9000SINS delete all his replies in this thread?
