Reddit is an amazing place, it connects people of all creeds and walks of life, but at the same time it has it's "drawbacks" where we don't like being sold things (or if it appears like it).

Here's the best analogy: lets say your at a party with friends having a good time when someone approaches you and starts trying to sell you a cigar. People at the party don't want to be sold stuff, it's just not the right place.
