I came to this country at 15 yrs of age and have been here for about 17yrs. I am celebrating today, the MLK day, a lot more than any Christmas, Thanks Giving, Labor Day or even New Years.

He was a great man. A peoples man. He stood for all. One for all.....

While I just the other day saw a brand new monument built in a town next to mine....can you guess what it was? Soldiers with rifles and a flag all amped up like they are going into a battle. Think the message kids receive. So many war monuments in general.

King loved the limelight. He'd tell himself it was OK to suck up to Obama, because he could do so much good from the public stage his association with Obama gave him. People fool themselves this way all the time. They get sucked in. King would have taken the award and the appointment with a smile.

Military action by conservatives is never done by mass conscription but only by professionals who CHOOSE that career and way of life.

MLK and all of February is used to stir up racial mistrust and bigotry among people. Just try watching PBS during this time its all going to be lynchings and firehoses, not the positive message of racial unity.
