About North Korea...

Does anyone see any way that the US could benefit from all of this North Korea business in a "conspiracy"-type sense? I'm just trying to figure this out because I don't think it is as simple as NK suddenly wanting to wage war with America.

Very true.

I think that North Korea is a form of controlled opposition. The US needs an enemy in the region so they can stage themselves at its borders and have god damned military bases closer to China and Russia.

You mean like the Middle East?
1 Dat_Nugga_Dust 2013-04-03
Exactly like the ME.

Except China and Russia pretty much control NK. The whole reason NK still exists (and continues to exist through aid) is that China stepped in during the Korean war. China didn't want a democratic country on it's border so it stepped in and pushed the Americans to a stale mate. You can be damn sure that China doesn't want American military bases any closer either.

Im still just wondering what exactly Dennis Rodman said to Kim Jr.
3 [deleted] 2013-04-03
it's obvious Dennis Rodman is actually a top tier CIA secret agent and spiked Kim Jong Un's drink with a newly developed mind control serum developed by Monsanto.

You sir, are a genius!

http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/03/12/dennis-rodman-with-a-penchant-for-diplomacy-plans-vacations-to-the-vatican-and-north-korea/ this was mid march, dennis rodman went over there, and suddenly kim jong un goes into war mode?

You're right, but wasn't Kim Youngin talking a big game even before his visit? Between the most recent nuclear test and successfully launching a long range ICBM....
3 Stereowire 2013-04-03
Not just Rodman. The Harlem Globetrotters (owned partly by Disney) recently entertained in NK. NK has consistently asked to hold talks with the US concerning the initiation of a peace treaty. The WH refuses to talk until NK agrees to talks surrounding the renewal of the old armistice agreement. All the NK missile tests were reported in media long before they were claimed to be "shocking" and Russia will never allow for a US assault on NK. Western media is running the narrative (see "Olympus Has Fallen?" for the HolyWood script).

they'll hold him for ransom! AHHHHH
arent they basketball fans or something.

Maybe Kim Jong Un is under some threat from an elite (generals and business men) that controls the country and keep the communist government and propaganda machine running for their own benefit. He's aware of the reality in his country but this elite is too powerful between the borders of NK, and any of his attempt to do anything to free his people, change the government structure, and free his country, can be a death sentence for himself. So maybe this is the only way that he can send the message out and ask US to free his people and shot down this elite that controls the country.
1 VanillaPudding 2013-04-03
And where is that you get this notion that Kim Jong Un is such a noble person?
3 rtfactor 2013-04-03
I'm not implying that he's such a noble person... I just think he's not that stupid to start a war that he know's he'll never win... and he spent enough time in the west to be able to know the reality outside NK and to know how deep they are in shit there!
1 rtfactor 2013-04-03
And maybe Dennis Rodman was a deal between Kim and the elite, like... "Ok... I will lead as you want but I want some toys or something in exchange... can I bring Dennis Rodman since I love basketball?"... Then he sends a message to the US gov through him.

North Korea.
And really, don't think of the Daily Mail as a legimate news source, it's just better for everyone.

WW2 is the reason we became a world power. Well find a way to benefit from pretty much anything

I think this is about China (and Russia) myself but I have nothing to back that up

When they want to make it seem a certain way they can make it look that way. https://www.cia.gov/library/reports/general-reports-1/iraq_wmd/
2 TheBelowIsFalse 2013-04-03
Hmmm. What do you mean by that?
2 JeffBoucher 2013-04-03
All this news of North Korea is coming from the same people who said Iraq had WMD's.

How do you know its coming from the North Korean state news agency? Because the news says so right?

I go to KCNA and I can't find the quotes they get from there because they never link to a source or give a specific article to look at. Its always KCNA says this or quote from KCNA with no direct link.

0 JeffBoucher 2013-04-03
If they want to quote something then they should link to its source. Until they do that I don't have to "believe" anything they tell me.

I can't read the mind of the writer to understand how he came to a conclusion. He could of made it up and said KCNA said it. How do you know its not made up without a source? I'm suspicious because of what history has shown me. https://www.cia.gov/library/reports/general-reports-1/iraq_wmd/ Look and tell me that doesn't seem believable. It's the job of the writer to source his information or they could say whatever they wanted and you just take their word for it.
1 eeklekins 2013-04-03
Some of KCNA's greatest hits: April 1: "Final Battle with U.S. Is Just, Patriotic War: Rodong Sinmun" March 30: "North-South Relations Have Been Put at State of War: Special Statement of DPRK" March 27: "Rodong Sinmun Calls for Just Great War for National Reunification"
North Korea spews out like 20 blatant threats a day, all of which are available for your viewing pleasure. They're not trying to hide anything.

Strategic location for China. Possibly Currency control if N. Korea isn't on Rothschild backed Currency. Business Ventures, I think Google etc have recently been there. Old Fashioned War Profiteering. Not sure if they have natural resources or not.
I think they were on the list Wesley Clark talked about though. PNAC list of axis of evil for some reason.
Wesley Clark ( US 4 Star General ) US will attack 7 countries in 5 years.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMJON4y_jac
Actually they weren't.
He said the original plan was to war with :Iraq, Syria , Lebanon , Libya, Somalia , Sudan and Iran ( 7 countries in 5 years) WE ARE at war with Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and Libya
Not exactly as planed , we had to make some changes and we are still one country short, but not bad.... maybe we might get lucky and still send the good old empire to IRAN still huh? Scary stuff. BTW this is a retired 4 star general.

Weirdly i think this North Korea deal is about filling the void left by the 2012 nonsense, sure there seems to be some constant need to keep us psychologically ready for a war with NK but thats been going forever.
There probably wasn't a conspiracy behind the 2012 death wish, humans often have these phases, likewise this Korea nuclear war nonsense interests people and the media exploit this so they can avoid doing any real journalism.

World War II never ended for some people. Japan never surrendered to China or Korea. The US inserted themselves into this.
-1 ChocolateSausage 2013-04-03
The USN had some severe pay cuts with sequestration that is currently taking place, effecting deployments and the overall foward naval presence in the PACOM AOR. What better way to get the neccessary funding back than by an extremely believable "war" with a country that has consistently been on edge.

maybe he is just a short little asshole with nuclear capabilities. i bet his dad hit him too
