Why should wiki leaks even exist?

The Internet is already set up for leaking information. Between bit-torent and social media sites, who needs some 3rd party to distribute leaks?

Obvious government operation is obvious.

Wikileaks is a distraction and great at spreading disinformation. If Assange were really a threat to the establishment he would have been "droned" by now. The establishment will use Wikileaks as an excuse to censor the internet.

I believe it to not be claiming to be new information, it is claiming to have put the public information into a digital and searchable format that can be accessed from anywhere in the world opposed to only being available in an archive that you physically have to visit. That's how it was reported in the UK, and it mentioned how Thatcher is included but she died like a half hour later.

Explore as many IRC channels, on both sides of the internet, as you can. Talk to people. Poke around. Go to the library and read their books...lots of city and university libraries even have "rare book" rooms if you're into the more esoteric/archaic knowledge.

Maybe this and the research of many other people trying to bring to light all the secrets and cover-ups of our and all other world governments will get future history books to ACTUALLY TELL WHAT HAPPENED.
