How many have come here specifically for Boston story?

I am new, and while I have lurked on reddit for a while I first found this sub from a X post from news. I have never been into the idea of conspiracy theories until this specific case... Just wondering if anyone else is new here for the same reason.

This is the only sub consistently updating information, just beware the comment section...

Aye, the comments can get hairy, but often provide counter evidence to confirm or cast doubt, which can sometimes be helpful.

It seems ever since boston, if you have a theory that isn't ridiulous, you must work for FBI.

Yeah the comments can point out obvious holes in stupider theories.

I come here in hopes of break through 9/11 was a set up proof but anytime something happens (sandy hook, theater shooting, etc) I Always come here to get other perspectives. When people have proof for theories and aren't hostile with it this sub is a great place.

i've read reddit on and off for years, this case is what pushed me to make an account and actually ask questions/get involved (cue the CIA DRONEBOT accusations)

Get outta here shill, your account is not old enough.

the point of the question was to ask who came here specifically for the Boston story. Being as that only happened last week AND i made a reddit account specifically because some of the conversation about this topic interested me, I'm not sure how I could logically have an older account, short of time travel and I don't think that's possible yet.

It was a joke

my bad! after being called a shill repeatedly i think i'm just overly defensive

Haha no worries, I'm in the same boat as you. Everytime I think to my self, "I should use a sarcasm tag this time" and then don't it backfires. I need to remember to start using them .

I did actually. I've browsed 9/11 conspiracy theories on YouTube before and made me curious. Then when the Boston Marathon came around, I realized I was of age where I could actually comprehend this information (was only 5 during 9/11), so I thought it would be a good opportunity to lurk and see what people could come up with. Regardless. I enjoy hearing what others have to say unless it is ludicrous and circle-jerk-y.

Thank you for being open minded, overcoming our cognitive dissonance is very difficult.

Thank you. I will check this out sometime.

Awesome, good luck. Let me know what you think

I'm new to reddit, but not to previous conspiracies. Other conspiracy sites are looking more like boxed-in communities pushing their own warped questionable agendas. Figured a sub forum on a big site like this would be better suiting.
Consider myself more of a 'conspiracy factualist', theorizing nothing and usually seeking evidence supporting allegations that many others are quick to accept as hard facts.

Its good to be skeptical of official reports. Its also good to be skeptical of conspiracy theories. Everything posted should be able to be challenged.
There is a lot of critical thinking going on in the subreddit. In this world of constant spin and a lame profit driven corporate media, that's a good thing.
"Truth" can sometimes be very elusive.

Yep. Right here. I wouldn't normally but there seems to be a surprising lack of information making it to the front page.

I've lurked on reddit off and on for a couple years. I have been on this sub every day for the past week or so, specifically because of the Boston story.

I've been here for almost a year, sometimes I agree with the conspiracy's and sometimes I don't. I do always respect other peoples views and comments though. But I always take everything with a grain of salt, I mean it is the internet and everyone is anonymous, anyone can be posting this information. What I do is sort out the facts with the facts and say "well this happen, there's proof" and I take the lies with the lies and see if I can fill in the blanks.
