BlackWater and Michelle Obama
13 2013-05-02 by johnbarron
"We cannot rest until every single veteran and military spouse who is searching for a job has found one."
Blackwater pledged 100,000 new jobs last year and has just announced 50k more jobs for veterans...
I am happy our troops are getting jobs and agree with her, but the size of this company on our dime, seems too much....
first our troops work for us, then we make them work for a company that we quasi-own.

Aren't they branding returning vets terrorists now a days?

Only if they don't take the contract job. Sometimes, even when they do, if some kind of reprehensible incident occurs, they might still be used as a scapegoat and labelled unstable.

I assume the people downvoting you have labelled you unstable as well...god forbid you say something that doesn't fit their all-is-well paradigmed worldview. SCHIZO!

Then we are employing them to control us.

They don't own them, they hired them for a period of time. They're mercenaries. When I rent a moonbounce from a party supply store, I don't suddenly own a fucking moonbounce.

If you break it while using it, you own it.
That applies here as well.

This article you linked only says these were clients of Blackwater, not that they were the private investors who bought Blackwater. Might want to re-read that again.

I thought they were something else, now... "XE" or something like that, now... to get away from all the bad "Blackwater PR".

Westrich Furniture is creating jobs also, do you think they are in on it?

Take it easy bro, Reptile Dad is only joking so it gives him permission to be an outright illogical douchebag
3 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
Someone needs to take logic 101...
-3 ReptileDad 2013-05-02
Obviously a joke, I supplied just about the same amount of information as OP connecting the two.
2 ronintetsuro 2013-05-02
FTFY
-1 ReptileDad 2013-05-02
Yes obviously backpedaling on a obvious joke. What kind of support would I expect from me mocking OP, they provide two quotes to connect a person to an organization and hold it as truth.
2 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
You are inferring that creating jobs logically produces conspiracy, when that is not the logic being originally used. Your sarcasm is not logically accurate...yes, backpedal, even if unknown.
If it makes the point any clearer: I am sure this sub would prefer all those employees to work for Westrich Furniture. Blackwater is a shady, government-whore company. Unless your joke is mocking trolls who come here making pseudo-logical jokes, and actually supports the point being made, then I really don't understand what is so funny?
Sry that I took it on face value as a quippy troll remark that makes illogical leaps in conclusion and tries to pretend that OP has done the same... Essentially straw man garbage that the majority of opposition (the immature section) tends to use tirelessly. If you are joking about the clowns who do that all day around here, more power to you. If you are one of those clowns, just go away and find something valuable for your time.
2 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
Since when did they claim truth over speculation? Most mature contributors to this sub understand they are doing the work of speculation. Its really just the trolls and immature conspiracy theorists who say anything about "conclusive truth".
How do you think a government mercenary program is not connected to the government, IE the first lady?
I suppose corporations and their profits are not connected to the government either.
Yay, now that I have successfully deluded myself there is no reason to stick around here anymore.
-1 ReptileDad 2013-05-02
You won't be missed. The less delusional people here, the better.
2 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
Aw but then you wouldn't be able to get your jollies with condescending self righteous bullshit that begs the question just as hard. After all, wheres the fun in trolling a sub where you aren't welcome if there is no one to troll?
Again, if not just for the better of society--do yourself a favor and take a course in logic so you understand at least your own delusions before trying to take a gander at others. What a joke.
0 ReptileDad 2013-05-02
So I make a joke and now I am a troll? You are looking way too much into this. You are paranoid.
2 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
You come on a sub with the intention of disagreeing with its theories without any actual logic--you are a troll.
Hence calling conspiracy theorists paranoid...
If I am being paranoid tell me what you actually did just then...tell me how that isn't a joke that a lazy anti-conspiracy-theorist troll would make, and then I will allow that you aren't just a walking fallacy.
So fucking sick of these kiddies
1 ReptileDad 2013-05-02
You are basing your whole argument off this pointless thread that shows no evidence other than you can connect the two because they both have ties with the government. I made an obvious joke, you took it way too far for whatever reason. You are a weird person.

It may not be inferred that she has anything to do with the new positions, but her and her husband's administration, as quoted, intend to do whatever it takes to open jobs for veterans. Blackwater happens to be one of the largest options. We don't need to conclude Michelle connected to Blackwater as much as realize that what comes off looking like a great save for impoverished veterans (the save she speaks of in the quote) is simply serving yet another purpose for the government's motives...not the veterans' motives. You're right though, its about as strong of a connection as a fucking furniture store...
0 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
Yea, I am. Thanks.
You are so normal tho.
Furniture stores have nothing to do with the government...how they relate is beyond me. You show the intellectual prowess of a "normal american".
Illogical jabs are so funny.
Obviously not well recieved...but I am sure you will continue doing it on every other topic
1 SentientPoopMachine 2013-05-02
Uh, this is r/conspiracy... You could label like 80% as "paranoid". This sub is about discussion of hypothetical scenarios which could be truth. This sub is not about convincing people that their ideas are wrong or too far fetched.
1 vicariouslyeye 2013-05-02
You did? I don't see the quote from Westrich Furniture, or the reputation that it carries not needing to be supplied...
