Who's laughing now?!

Just saw a comment that said "conspiracy theorists were right" upvoted to the top. I can't wait for them to find out about all the other "theories" that they called "ridiculous" come to fruition. Are we still crazy to you? I heard about this NSA business long before everything came to light but all the others dismissed it. I kept it in the back of my head and now look! I expected all of this because I BELIEVED it was happening. Let this be a lesson to those of you who were in denial just because the idea of it was too outlandish. Anything is possible..remember that.

Also, their program's called PRISM...PRISM. Let that sink in for a minute, PRISM. Are you fucking kidding me? It's hilarious.

Why is it funny?

It just likens to the various eye of providence conspiracies.

That is an interesting take on it that I had not considered. I looked at PRISM in terms of a prism's function, separation of homogeneous light (data). Also, rainbows and even PRISM (acronym) are a part of the LGBT communiry.

I guess it depends if their "PRISM" insignia (if they have one) is triangular. It just reminded me of all those conspiracies I've heard for years.

We have also seen this kind of symbolism represented on various military and intelligence patches.

I don't think you are wrong. Sigils/symbols are very important to many influential groups. The difficulty is always in determining the meaning assigned and choices made by those using explicit symbols whether consciously or unconsciously.

Symbols have been important since the dawn of man. Painting on cave walls, homages to the Greek gods, the Egyptian gods etc. Symbolism is big part of humanity.

True that. In a very literal sense, all of reality is a metaphor. Would you agree?

There's a theory in quantum physics that if enough people focus their energy on an idea, then that idea will come to fruition in a quantum field.
This phenomenon has been observed in meditation circles where the participants were meditating on non-material objects. One person would meditate on a object that doesnt exist in the quantum field, until the group started to picture the same image. Eventually, after weeks of group meditation, the image presented itself in the physical realm. It's sounds pretty insane, but again, it's a theory.

Did the image really present itself, or did those participating convince themselves it was there? Or is there even a difference between these two scenarios? If everyone agrees that the sky is blue, does that make it blue?

Okay, but consider this: How do YOU even know if something really presents itself or if you're just convincing yourself it's there?

If you can touch it.

That doesn't particularly sound like a quantum physics theory considering we don't even have that in depth knowledge on how the brain works on the quantum level.

An experiment by hundreds of transcendental meditators in Washington DC. The crime rate actually drooped significantly.
"Everything, every force field in the nation is a part of an underlying intelligence," said Mr. Graeser, who has been practicing Transcendental Meditiaton for 14 years. "It's called the washing-machine effect. We're washing the stress out of the environment."

Pretty off subject here, but I like your hidden Kybalion quote: "Lips of wisdom are closed except to ears of understanding." It reminds me of the famous Nietzsche quote: "Those who hear not the music think the dancers mad."

Who ever dismissed the idea that the govt is spying on us ? We've known that for a long time. Since Hoover and FBI in the 30's or 40's, maybe ? Sure, maybe details about NSA and internet and allegations about Facebook/Google are new.

It's good they are realizing, lets keep fighting. Something needs to be done..

It reminds me of the AT&T closet. Put a prism in the path of an optical bitstream and the bitstream is duplicated; it comes out of both sides.

We shouldn't be THAT happy because what we're being correct about is the fact that we're all going to hell in a handbasket. :/ That's nothing to celebrate over and go "Woohoo! We were right all along, everyone! We ARE all fucked!"
