If something happens this fourth of july, don't let anyone use it to say your security is worth more than your freedom.

I don't know why, and I'm not predicting anything, but I had a heavy heart this morning. I feel as if something big is coming soon, maybe some new leaks, some new information, etc, etc. I'm not exactly sure, but whatever it is, I hope it lets others open their eyes to what's really going on. I just had to share that, stay strong guys, and get others informed.

Same feeling man, but you're preaching to choir as most of the people who post here already know not to trade liberty for temporary security.

I know I am, but I have no other place to share this where people would understand where I am coming from. Hopefully some new people see it, instead of the everyday posters.

This. Any other sub people would downvote the shit out of you, and comment "But our government does a great job keeping us safe, and if something happens I have no problem giving them whatever they need to give us that safety." It's pretty sickening, considering in all seriousness the biggest threat to the American people as a whole is our own government. Like, do they honestly want us to believe China, or Russia, or Al Qaeda is going to invade the United States to take us over? Or North Korea who can't feed it's own population can get a nuke over here? Meanwhile we have the NDAA, politicians on corporate and bank payroll, and now the shit with the NSA, the IRS, etc. The government is looking out for itself, it doesn't give a shit about the people or our rights.

Safe from what? Being on a fucking continent miles away from your biggest enemies does the most of it.
You really think monitoring call is going to stop fuckwits using pressure cookers? Or idiots driving a petrol truck into a building?
Do you think before they do that they will call their best friend?

I'm kinda worried too. Like, "What's next".

Exactly, like "any day now...".

I've been having dreams about nuclear explosions in a city full of people and my dreams usually don't make that much sense. The foreshadowing in popular culture seems to be there again, like it was prior to 9-11 I just can't seem to work out all the details. Outside of abstract thinking, I look at current events and I see the Arab Spring starting again in full force, tons of geopolitical scandals along with upheaval, and the beginning of another financial crisis starting with Europe and China. We're also seeing massive weather fluctuations, a mass species die off, radiation spread everywhere from Fukushima, and chemtrails becoming more prevalent. The timing for a distraction or an event that could lead to a major war seems frighteningly perfect. :\

If you're have recurrent dreams, keep a pad of paper on the nightstand or record immediately after waking the most specific details you can remember from dreams. If you all start saying, it looked like a Midwestern town, etc, you could be of service, y'know?
0 hdoa 2013-07-04
I had similar nightmares in 2010 of air raid sirens and nuclear devastation. That's actually what alerted me to start paying attention to world events. The weird thing is that prior to those nightmares I never watched many "end times" videos or worried much about world events. They were so vivid and haunting that they would wake me up in the middle of the night. I couldn't even bare to hear the train blast its horn in my town. It was almost like PTSD, but of a memory that hasn't happened. (yet)
11 GNUgamer 2013-07-04
I'm beginning to think that some events are so traumatic that they excite the neurons to the point where the electrical signals become non-local and echo through time and space, this is despite my infinite scepticism for the metaphysical or supernatural.

Why would people go out of their way to down-vote this? There was literally nothing offensive about my post.
2 izucantc 2013-07-04
Because people are fucking idiots, I don't even know why the people who down voted you are in this subreddit.
1 oohcomely 2013-07-04
I'm not sure why people down-vote like that, but I'd guess it was the comparison of your post-dream reactions to PTSD. I have it and can see how others could be sensitive about such a comparison, but some nightmares can really shake you up so I understand what you mean.
Anyway, I've also had some vivid apocalypse nightmares lately, which is an unusual theme for me. The last scenario was of a meteor hitting the earth, but it could've doubled as a nuclear bomb. My family and I watched as it approached and appeared to bounce off the surface of the ocean. Suddenly everything went white, and I stood in nothingness- presumably dead- for a moment before waking up.

I had a dream that devils trapped me in a cave and were going to kill me, but then melted chocolate burst through wall and destroyed the devils. Needless to say, I don't expect this to happen.
Even if something terrible happens (god forbid) your dreams have nothing to do with it. If you actually want to preserve your freedoms, you should act rationally.
2 TheExtroll 2013-07-04
Never underestimate the power of the subconscious. Trust your gut and listen to what your dreams say.
4 [deleted] 2013-07-04
are you suggesting that dreams can predict the future?
2 TheExtroll 2013-07-04
It's not as simple as predicting the future. Dreams don't just pop up and go, "Oh hai! This is going to happen. Kthxbai!" Dreams are highly symbolic (derp) and if you learn to interpret them you will learn about yourself and others.
3 redditeditard 2013-07-04
We process SO much information we're not even aware of. Your eyes and brain actually register the color of shoelaces of the people you pass through out your day. REM dreams are the mind's way of making sense of all that data, plus the element of emotion. You don't dream anything by mistake...
-2 izucantc 2013-07-04
You said it perfectly "The timing for a distraction or an event that could lead to a major war seems frighteningly perfect." and that is what I am most afraid of, it's only a matter of time "/

And to make things hotter, Adam kokesh's armed march is back on. That's gotta escalate things

I never said an apocalypse was going to happen...why are you even in this subreddit?
3 TheWorldToCome 2013-07-04
HMM I don't have any such feeling, hopefully nothing happens.
1 thereisnosuchthing 2013-07-04
You've all been listening to too much alex jones. I'm going to play Left 4 Dead, fuck you guys, the government wiretaps all of our phones and reads all of our text and emails specifically so this doesn't happen, we're safe and protected.
4 izucantc 2013-07-04
Funny thing is, I don't like Alex Jones. If thinking you're safe and protected is what makes you sleep better at night, than keep believing it.

Who said anything about the end of the world....? I didn't, you did. Stop creating false statements.
1 woo_hoo_boobies 2013-07-04
sorry, "feeling" like something is going to happen means nothing. Can you extend you list of examples or evidences to 1?
2 redditeditard 2013-07-04
With all that's going on, you think I feel readily comfortable w being specific? All I really feel I comfortable saying is, when SHTF, I really hope I can have faith in my fellow Americans to behave peacefully and logically.
1 [deleted] 2013-07-04
read the sidebar- no evidence is required in this subreddit.
0 izucantc 2013-07-04
What did I need evidence for...?
0 izucantc 2013-07-04
Evidence or examples of what? Of how I was feeling when I wrote this...?
0 woo_hoo_boobies 2013-07-04
No, like if I went public saying I "felt" something, like, say "there's a seachange coming in the whole idea of what privacy is; what we see are just the teams warming up before the game", for example, then I would have realities in the real world that I could use as supporting evindence - should what I "feel" actually be representative of reality.
In my made-up privacy example I would quote things like:
the normalization of leaks,
the fundamental loss of any faith amongst the non-proletariat in their goverments' protection of their privacy,
the complete derrigation (that's prob. incorrect spelling) of the legally and technically empower-eds' concepts (even) of the public's privacy,
the almost complete absence of any discourse, at all, of moral imperfection attached to privacy violations - coupled with the acceptance of these violations
the free availablity of high tech encryptions systems for those who can and wish to use them
So, I was asking the perfectly reasonable question of: "what makes you feel that?"

Is there a subreddit called /r/conspiracyimaginations?
2 [deleted] 2013-07-04
it was merged with this one a long time ago
0 izucantc 2013-07-04
I never made any predictions.....so what am I exactly imagining? It is only a matter of time before something happens.
1 BrittainTheCommie 2013-07-04

Same prediction every couple weeks.
When the Gov't is ready to strike, to further the fear mongering, then we'll know.
2 izucantc 2013-07-04
I didn't make a prediction.....
1 jim_slayers 2013-07-04
We allowed this misconception to proliferate after 9/11 and have done nothing to educate people about the dichotomy of the issue. Hence the uproar about the NSA data gathering.
1 ForTheLoveOfTree 2013-07-04
What is with all the negative comments? The man just said he had a heavy feeling, he wasn't predicting anything. Seems like a lot of the comments lately have been very negative lately. I thought we were a free thinking community.

While I've watched a few different Youtube videos on this subject, this information seems to be the most credible.

Your heavy heart is for the the Government we were Promised but never get to see. Today is for mourning the loss of the city upon a hill.

It's ok. Only a few hundred people turned out. Worst that could happen is a blister in the foot.
Is like to applaud America for doing absolutely fuck all. If actions speak louder than words, then bush, Obama and a fucked up authoritarian state is exactly what you deserve.
Keep it safe America ...now back in your pens

This seems obligatory for a thread like this and also just cause it's the 4th:
