Why does the Pentagon not get in trouble when it leaks sensitive information?

The Pentagon leaked information about Israel's air strike in Syria on July 5.

By doing this, the government leaked sensitive information that could lead to warfare and more destruction in the Middle East.

This looks like a contraction regardless of your views on Snowden.

Because their leaks are part of a deliberate agenda (which Snowden seems to belong to considering the unparalleled coverage he has gotten, compared to other whisteblowers).

"Anonymous" the hackers, while not part of being anonymous, are likely part of the DHS, NSA, CIA, FBI et al...
