Puerto Rico - Somethings going on?

I just got a call from a friend in Puerto Rico. He said the US military is putting some sort of filters in the sky. Can anyone else confirm this? He had to go but said it's some freaky looking shit, no pics yet. Still waiting.

Sounds like BS to me

I work in Finance and some of the associates here have been losing their shit over bonds from Puerto Rico. Fair warning, I'm only training and studying for my licensing exams but from what I understand all of their bonds are being moved at a drastically discounted price.

That's because Puerto Rico's economy is in the shitter, and recently their bonds have lost a ton of value due to bad investments and money managing.

Just sharing what's been going on around my office.

Filters in the sky? This needs further explanation.

The military uses Puerto Rico airspace quite often.

The Vieques Training Range. The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory in the Caribbean whose people are U.S. citizens. Vieques (pronounced vee-EHkus) is a small Puerto Rican island a few miles east of mainland Puerto Rico. The Department of the Navy (DoN), which includes the Navy and Marine Corps, purchased the western and eastern ends of the island between 1941 and 1950; the two DoN-owned parcels totaled about 22,000 acres, or about two-thirds of the island. Almost all of the 8,000-acre western parcel, which was used primarily as a naval ammunition depot, was returned by DoN to the Municipality of Vieques on May 1, 2001.

The remaining DoN-owned 14,000-acre eastern parcel has been used by U.S. naval and other military forces since the early 1940s for training exercises involving ship-to-shore gunfire, air-to-ground bombing by naval aircraft, Marine amphibious landings, or some combination. The parcel includes a roughly 11,000-acre Eastern Maneuver Area for Marine Corps ground exercises and a roughly 900-acre Live Impact Area (LIA) designed for targeting by live ordnance. The LIA is at the eastern tip of the island, several miles from the civilian-populated center section of the island, which has about 9,300 residents.

its been an hour, still no pictures?

Any camera that looks at the sky? Im having a hard time loading these. I tried loading 4 different ones (one from each quadrant) and all were directed to La Ocho cam. The camera played for about 45 seconds then asked to refresh. The camera was focused on the water only.

Apparently (read:according to GLP) information/media to mainland is being completely stifled.

Necesitas leer lo que me dejiste. I said "according to GLP"

interesting. Stifled isnt cut off though, im surprised twitter isnt blowing up right now.

I found two articles about this, but no pictures. Here and Here.

I can say for sure that there is not a military lockdown. I recently was part of a video conference with a sister battalion in Puerto Rico and their biggest concern was not having enough senior NCOs.

Edit

Also, this guy is talking as though the military has invaded Puerto Rico... The majority of the military forces on Puerto Rico are Puerto Ricans, and they are a US colony, so I highly doubt an invasion.

What the fuck? The godlike site? That's total bullshit. I live here and none of that is true.

I was simply linking the only information on the matter i could find. Sorry i didn't clarify that i feel it is mostly likely untrue, and would need lots more evidence to convince me it is.

It's all right :)

Got banned for browsing the GLP page...

This might be unrelated to what your friend might have seen but, every uninformed crazy person here has been freaking out over the past few weeks over everything, trying to connect anything to everything. Basically every time someone sees an Army Reserve convoy moving from a base to another, they quickly assume its some sort of martial law thing taking place.

Recently the Army was moving vehicles into one of the ports, and receiving new ones, and some paranoid person took a picture of the vehicles and started posting on blogs and FB that the US was getting ready for martial law in PR.. thats the kind of intellect you're dealing with when it comes to conspiracy people in PR. They've also been shitting bricks over the FEMA coffins too. I'm all for conspiracy talk but when it comes to PR, take everything with a grain of salt, theres a lot of baseless hate for the USA here, so there will be a lot of BS.

Hey! I'm from PR and trust me people here are almost totally uninformed or completely oblivious when it comes to outside matters. Everything in the mews is politics, and the "conspiracy theorists" are total nuts.

Well...when you are being monitored all of the time, Kerry signs a UN treaty no one wants, and we are doing the Obamacare/Monsanto shuffle while the Fed just keeps printing and printing and printing and printing and printing and printing and prin...oh sorry...

You can understand why everyone is a little jumpy.

Nothing here. And what is a light filter anyway? Should be worth mentioning, I have seen black choppers like two times last month. Also, one news outlet here reported on the FEMA coffins.

I managed to find this. I want to say its a shadow but it looks unnatural.

No idea what he's referring to as "filters in the sky." However, one of the first HAARP-type Over The Horizon Radar Imaging Stations is in Puerto Rico.

other cities load instantly, PR however, doesnt seem to load.
