Stamford is not far from Sandy Hook....

Lots of things happening in connection with the community of Stamford lately.....

1 A man was arrested with bomb making material near Stamford.

2 The woman who rammed the gate at Capitol hill was from Stamford

3 Peter Lanza just sold a home in Stamford

4 There was a recent home explosion in Stamford

Just been seeing a lot if stories. Thought I would point it out.

It was also the town that was destroyed in the fictional Marvel Comics Civil War a couple years ago.

At the beginning of the "Civil War" storyline, the New Warriors attempt to apprehend a group of supervillains in Stamford, Connecticut for their television reality show. Nitro, one of the criminals, creates an explosive blast that kills 612 civilians, including 60 children, as well as the New Warriors with the exception of Baldwin. This event triggers the push for superhero registration at the heart of "Civil War".

History Stamford, Connecticut. Most recently infamous for the events precipitating the current superhuman Civil War. The war is in response to the passage of the Superhuman Registration Act, which is in turn a response to the careless murder of over 600 people by Nitro (including 60 school children caught at ground zero of Nitro's blast).
