Come on, OP. I love that the NSA's homepage may have had it's dick knocked in the dirt for the sole reason that most people are ignorant about how little it means...
But this is dumb. Do your homework. Google has over 250,000 servers. Gmail wasn't down. And they are definitely not being proxied through NSA servers.

Suggests that there is a pipe between gmail and the rest of the internet that runs through the NSA, so when the NSA was DDOS'd, gmail was affected.
