Weird that they would ban you for that, but not ban the other user for this Mandela Israel

Unless you did something else.

Edit - Posted here for visability.

OH, you got banned from /r/TIL ? thats funny because TIL, moved to /r/todayilearned a long time ago. there is no /r/TIL , which you tried to submit to. Maybe check your facts before making up random shit.

Examinecom

User that posted this topic was ronaldo345

He/she used "pretty" words, I used real words.

That's probably what kept the other post from being brought to the attention of the mods, but both posts violate TIL's rule IV "Nothing related to recent politics" as Israel's apartheid regime is unfortunately not history yet.

you can find plenty of examples on TIL that are not history yet.

Have you messaged the mods to ask why you were banned? I can't help but think there's something else in it.

he wasn't banned from anything, he tried posting to /r/TIL, instead of the actual /r/todayilearned.

I wonder if he/she will respond to this

How do you know the other user was not banned?

They might be banned, but their post remained.

Right, but we don't know if they were or not.

Seems weird that they would ban some one, but leave the topic that caused the ban.

Whereas it looks like they banned the OP, but removed the topic that caused the ban.

Disregard this - OP is full of BS

Well you see OP you did not read the rules in TIL very well.

V. II. No trivial or obvious facts (e.g. "TIL the sky is blue"),

You put in an obvious fact. ;)

and that gets you banned??? No..... I have "broken" the V. II. rule before.

It's a joke brah. Depends on if that mod woke up with PMS that morning. I've been banned there before while correcting an inaccurate report on Polynesian history.

TIL mods are pretty good usually, but disappointed that they did this.

His statements with regards to the ongoing apartheid undertaken by the Zionists is not a political statement but rather a humanitarian gesture.

Zionist Apartheid: The Third Rail of Death

They hate people hating on Jews. They hate powerful black people even more.
