If you guys haven't listened to some Immortal Technique check this song out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u3JSEqNtlg

He is still doing music of the same ilk but production value is better.

Edit: I guess the link to this song was posted at some point earlier and I was unaware so if you didn't see it then check it out now. I'm not trying to get upvotes.

Ohhh yes, I forgot to add an IT song but his newest album is free to download here.. http://www.viperrecords.com/index.php/artists/immortal-technique

Terrorist Threats is the jam

that whole album is pretty sweet.

Sweet song. Thanks for sharing.

of course, thanks for the b.o.b shares - missing is beyond dope.

Yeah it is. I just heard it today and got the idea for this thread lol but Ive never really liked hopsins sound much but his lyrics/messages are extremely good.

I'm frustrated at him.. he doesn't realize it's far bigger than he thinks.

Yeah I think his message is more about personal growth and not a higher truth like BoBs songs.

He's getting there though, what's my purpose shows he's losing faith in his country. which is good, what we need is Pac to come back.

For real. Changes is probably my favorite song ever. But tbh I think even Pac was off. He was more about personal struggles and not institutional problems, but please counter me if you think otherwise. Thats just how I see it.

Nah man.. Pac was far far smarter than most people think. He went to an acting school as an adolescent and his mother was a black panther... What our goverment would call a terrorist today. They were at constant war with the FBI, he was exactly they didn't want in the rap game... Intelligent, gifted and raised by someone who told him the truth. He was careful in what he said he didn't want to reveal too much. He had this planned from The very beginning... Becoming a rapper, 2Pac was a role, and he killed it off as a martyr. Shit his last album wa called the son killuminati. "Coming back after all these years"

Thanks, I had no idea his mom was a black panther.

Of course, shocked you didn't know.

Fuckin' love this one: Killer Mike - "Reagan"

This is why Jay-z and 50 cent are shoved down everybody's throats.

Posted this to a thread earlier today. if you are into hardcore music, you may appreciate Stray From the Path's album Anonymous. The guys in the band are very much in tune with ideas shared here. If hardcore music isnt your thing i would suggest at least looking up the lyrics to their songs, especially Badge & a Bullet.

Yeah hardcore/metal isnt my favorite music but at least its not country... lol and Im just gonna link their album here so the lazy people visiting can see.

The Constructus Corporation - Long Street

South African hiphop group Die Antwoord, in early 2002. This album (The Ziggurat) has changed my life.

I like their style thanks for sharing!

Waddy Jones is kind of a weird mad genuis kind of dude, I don't know how to explain it really, but if you like the style check out his other projects from the past. (FucknRad, Watkin Tudor Jones, Max Normal)

Another doom fan! I still have yet to warm up to Key to the Kuffs its very different. Cool song nonetheless.

On my phone at work, so forgive my lack of links. I recommend checking out: "Signs" by Nujabes (a song) and The People's Key, an album by Bright Eyes. Particularly the first track of that album. Most readers here will recognize and appreciate the messages in each.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62hoopKaZRY heres the first song of the album you were referring to and I really like it.

Hacktivist, if you are into prog metal and rap, this bands for you.
