Listening to npr on my way home and heard something.

They said that the sweeping change Obama was going to do was make them get court orders to view the data. They said nothing about stopping the collection of data. I paid particularly close attention to that part.

Do they really think people wouldn't notice that? I am wondering if people will accept this.

Did I hear it wrong?

Turn off NPR, it's bad for you! (And I say that as a former tote-bag carrying acolyte!) They have their biases and sponsors, just like everybody else. They also have a very subtle way of reinforcing liberals (ie, formally educated white people) into a false sense of empathy and understanding of world politics. They actively push the "we must educate and vaccinate all the heathens" mentality. It's a subtle snobbery.

I use all "news" outlets as just entertainment. If I find something interesting will research it further like this.

I can't even listen to NPR anymore. What Fox is to conservatives, NPR is attempting to become for liberals. 80% of the last 3 months, NPR was an infomercial for Obamacare.

At this point, it's just more words out of the mouth of a lying puppet. Regardless of how his statement was actually worded, it will have no bearing on the truthfulness of it.

No, that's what Obama is going to do. Did you keep listening? Do you listen other days? I listen every day and they know data collection isn't being stopped. That's usually the very first thing they talk about after a story like this.

I lost the signal just after they said what I posted. I was going thru the mts on I80 just west of state college.

From the report I heard it seemed as if they were trying to get thru it.

I found they do rush a little through unpleasant news. This is usually because many of the shows want to fit in more callers and discussion time. It's nice.

Yeah the reception in my 2012 chevy rapist is really shitty. I cant get am stations often I do like npr thou. They just report no opinion least not that I notice. My fav for good laughs is mark Levin, rush Limbaugh, and any other of them people that love the sound of their voice.

chevy rapist

??

Chevy express panel van with no windows.

Ah, it all comes together. Actually googled "chevy rapist" and got a similar explanation.

Yeah heard that on a movie just kinda stuck. Mine is a one of a kind thou. It has the premium serial killer package with the aluminum torture table and easy spray out floor liner.

I even have a winch mounted under the table to secure umm.......stuff. I really suggest spectra rope the weave is extremely tight and hardly ever breaks strands.

Lol just got done watch a few episodes of dexter. ........but I wasn't joking about the contents of my vehicle.

Nice. Hopefully you've got a futon back there or a giant bean bag. I'd like to turn an old ambulance into a camper van for no hassle street camping.

Yeah I am not really the hippy type. More methodical in my actions. I enjoy a plan for my day.

Besides there are crazy people out there you know.

Well, to each their own. Good luck with your murdering.

If I could I would give you gold. That made me laugh but the kiddo is shitting water and hospitals are not cheap.

I'm just as flattered. Thanks, man. Good luck with the family and God bless.

I am gonna remember you.

Tag me in Reddit Enhancement Suite. I've got you tagged as the Chevy Rapist guy. If you don't already have it:

I use my phone all the time when I clicked on it said 404 I tagged you as a friend.

And no I dont have any furniture just a machine that is capable of 150,000 volts of dc current and many other items to perform my job. A 3ft torque wrench. Some hooks and other testing equipment.

Oh I do have an office chair.

Understandable. They have some very intelligent hosts where I live that quickly point out BS in the news.

Yeah I have learned anything media related now is for entertainment purposes. I dont have regular tv at my house so we dont have local news. We only have internet and netflix.

I was in Maryland this week and was watching local news and saw nothing but fear and propaganda. Nothing of good thing happening just kids murdering other kids and other like stories.

Luckily, nobody under 30 watches the news or even has cable. Everyone uses on-demand entertainment, which doesn't carry the news.

Yeah, whatever. If you're still listening to NPR Government Radio then you'll go back to it either way.

People like you are discouraging to the extreme.

They said that the sweeping change Obama was going to do was make them get court orders to view the data. They said nothing about stopping the collection of data.

Ok, what the hell do you mean by "data" in both cases separately? What do you mean by "courts"? Be clearer.

I mean by data that is being collected by nsa. I dont know what all data is being collected I am guessing main thing is phone calls and numbers dialed. And I mean a court thag would issue a warrant for nsa to view said data.
