Has anyone else noticed this?

Everytime there's a big event in the world America uses the media to instead idolize a celebrities life then the actual world event. Like right now the Ukraine protests are happening and there is barely any media coverage. Instead, the whole talk is about Justin Beiber.

This happened many times before, Miley cyrus twerking instead of coverage of the war in Syria.. etc

Why not?

I think s/he may not like dark bourbon.

I don't either. Bourbon sucks.

Pasta and musicals

The "No Agenda" podcast discussed this only yesterday, they highlight astonishing media manipulation all the time.

Rick Santorum, next to Feinstein, is one of my least favorite people of all time. Congrats on the amazing name choice. I'm listening to that podcast now, thanks for the link.

Thanks, I can join you with Feinstein too. What a bitch. No Agenda is the best show out there in my opinion, it's a million times worth sticking with as they do ramble.

Their entire archive is also free on YouTube, almost 500 shows over 6 years. Just first class and entirely free to listen too.

The beiber stuff is at 25minutes

I'm all caught up on Joe Rogan and Dan Carlin, so I've been looking for another podcast, and this one seems pretty good so far.

Check out "This American Life."

Been like that for a long time.

It's called a distraction. It's the M.O. of American 'news'. While something relevant is happening, they throw crap in their peoples' faces so that they remain in their little bubble, ignorant of the world around them.

yup.. we had cannabis last week

They got lucky with Beiber. If he hadn't fucked up, they would have to cover Jennifer Aniston's new haircut or some other benign shit.

Justin Beiber and all of these celebrities and musicians and big name people, are all capable ACTORS.

Even if they're not billed as an actor, they're all performers that are perfectly capable of putting on a show.

How do we know that things like this don't happen on purpose and that these celebrities aren't PAID to "get in trouble".

How coincidental is it that his arrest pictures have his hair looking just like Miley Cyrus so that everybody can post the stupid fucking "HAHA THEY LOOK THE SAME" side by side pic?

TL;DR - Don't dismiss the possibility that these celebrities are paid to do these distractions.

Meh, I keep an open mind about everything. But I find it hard to believe that most of these actors are smart enough to keep something like that under wraps. They are paid whores, that is true. But trusting a junkie like Lindsay Lohan, (or that other broad who was in that thing) to keep a secret wouldn't work out very well, IMO.

Oh but do you think anybody is going to believe that junkie Linsday Lohan when she says "Some guy paid me to get wasted and crash my car!"?

No, nobody is going to believe her unless she can prove it, which she can't.

The real question is who cares?

"Mike, we're gonna need you to suck off another little boy"

Dave Chapple

"Cover up"

They're our kosher idols.

I just watched a clip of Dave Chapelle pointing this out in a stand-up comedy skit. It was from years ago.

I found it on this sub.

Egypt revolution --> Charlie Sheen.

That's America for you....

Ukraine is cool, but don't forget about the TPPA.
