Just a placeholder to catalog the network "Programming" the masses will be swallowing today. Keep your eyes peeled.

People leaving downvotes, I would like to know how you think I can improve the quality of my postings. I welcome comments or messages with your opinion.

Right now, Fox is airing a segment on 9/11. The usual stuff is happening:
* Rallying America around 9/11
* make mention of terrorism
* Military 'leaders' are called in to discuss the event
* Its all very...patriotic.
* Building the Superb Owl up as not just a sporting event, but a symbol of American Freedoms

Followed immediately by "Three Days to Kill" trailer, in which the main character is all about fighting terrorism.

Slogans of Ads being repeated and played one right after the next:
"Whatever happens next"
"The next big thing is here"
"After the Super Bowl, let's go crazy"

EDIT: I will keep using this post to add what I see. I'm making no claims nor offering opinions on the content. I'm simply writing what I see.

  • Obama will be sitting down for an interview with Bill O'Reily
  • Segment on Bruno Mars in which it is stated, "There is no bigger game (may have misheard this part) in the world."
  • Commercial taking about military service. "Remember, respect. Honor our fallen military heroes..."(commercial ends before I can get the rest) followed immediately by a Sonos commercial that plays the song I Shot the Sheriff, repeating the line "Shot the Sheriff"
  • Montage of previous sporting victories
  • Memorial tribute to Pat Summerall
  • Commercial from Exxon extolling virtues of Natural Gas and how America needs it
  • Segment on Champ Bailey, focused around how he is running out of time
  • Didn't catch the audio, but I just saw a British Flag on screen, followed by a bullet hole appearing in it

EDIT 2 - Taking a break
EDIT 3 - Back

  • Segment on Lombardi and how his success was directly related to his Faith and a sense of nationalism. Extolling the virtues of New York and its citizens. After talking about his strength of character, it returns to claim it was because of his faith, and participation in the army. The whole segment was narrated by a priest in full garb.
  • "Fox is live and the center of the universe"
  • Bill Murray stating "I'm ready to help...in case of emergency. That is what America is all about"
  • Phil Phillips playing his hit song "Gone, gone, gone"
  • Gold Star Pins commercial, followed by two "Whatever Happens Next" commercials. Followed by "The Following" commercial.
  • "Nothing is more American that the Super Bowl"

Obama Interview

  • Obama interview starts with Healthcare, focusing on problems with the computers.
  • Obama dodges questions about problems with computers and extolls virtues of healthcare. Bill cutting off Obama's responses, trying to back him into a corner. Being pretty disrespectful.
  • Shift to Libya. Talking about terrorist attacks and how Obama knew of these.
  • This is almost impossible to follow along. Tons of mentions of terrorist attacks and protecting the American people.
  • Shift to IRS and Schulman(sp?).
  • Obama says no corruption in IRS.
  • Obama predicts score of "24-21"

Interview Ends

  • "Broncos and Seahawks get ready for battle"
  • Segment on Pete Carroll
  • Segment on John Fox, centric around his hospitalization

Not much happening at this point. One could point to each commercial and discuss their conditioning methods, as each commercial is employing mnemonic devices. Focus is shifting to exploration of the teams, coach and player interviews, and the build up for kick off.

  • Segments on Russel Wilson, Payton Manning

Pregame Show Begins

  • Payton interview with NYC in the background, clearly showing Liberty Tower.
  • Conan's spot is laden with sarcastic jabs at weed laws, police presence being overbearing, NYC in danger, expecting the unexpected
  • (Opinion) Same commercials playing on repeat, as usual. I suspect we'll see more poignant ads as viewer base increases.
  • Reading of Declaration of Independence. Segment extolling patriotism and military prior to the reading. "We must all hang together, or assuredly, we will hang separately." Lots of military and American propaganda. Varying players, owners, coaches, commentators reading the Declaration of Independence.
  • Blatant appeal to American nationalism. Michelle Obama extolling military troops.
  • "In order to protect OUR lives, OUR freedoms, OUR honor"
  • "We must find more ways to honor the men and women that defend our liberties."
  • The amount of nationalist rhetoric was too dense to follow along with.
  • Many comments used to instill sentiment towards our military's presence at home and abroad.

My stream cut out - resetting internet
Edit 100 - Internet back just in time to catch statement about about showing images of SuperBowls previous

  • Recognizing player's off field service - Charles Tillman wins Man of the Year award.
  • "In celebration of this beautiful country" Queen Latifa leads "America the Beautiful"
  • Followed by Exxon commercial about multiple energy sources
  • Preview of new Captain America movie mentioned directly after "America the Beautiful"
  • Weird spot with a gear rotating and people screaming in the background. No text or voice over. This is the second weird, out of place spot that didn't make sense. The first being a British Flag with a bullet hole appearing in it.
  • Team introductions overly dramatized, lots of impactful and heavy hitting verbiage.
  • "Run this Town" by Rihanna playing in the background. Lyrics
  • National Anthem sung by Renee Fleming, cuts to armed forces in Afghanistan
  • Military helicopter flyover as National Anthem comes to a close
  • "As we march our way towards kickoff"

Game Begins

  • Game is beginning. My commentary will slow down as air time is consumed by game play.
  • "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff(sp?) playing on kick off
  • "This is not a typical Super Bowl crowd"
  • First aerial coverage is images of Liberty Tower
  • I missed this one, but /u/G_Wash1776 points out very weird Maserati commercial -> Commercial
  • Ominous commercial about "The Strain" that states "He is here (coming?)" with dark clouds settling over NYC
  • /u/tobeornottobeTITQ offers their take-away of commercials playing
  • Reference to the players as 'weapons'
  • Third weird spot - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAoX6xKyjKA - posted by /u/delelles
  • SuperBowl sponsored by Maserati, followed by America the Beautiful Coke commercial in various languages.
  • British flag spot - sirens blaring in the background, ending with gun shot. No text, no voice, no company logos. What the hell is that spot? -> These weird spots may be related to the show "24" as repeatedly mentioned in the comments. They could also be related to the new Captain America film.

Halftime Begins

  • "Biggest concert in the world" is beginning
  • Starts with chorus of children singing about "prepare" with the American flag displayed prominently in the background
  • Sirens blaring as accompaniment to the music
  • Getting real patriotic now with messages from troops sending their best wishes to family members
  • Continuation of the British Flag spot. More bullet holes appear in addition to the previous one -> (opinion) this is viral marketing for a TV show. We will see the completion of this ad by the end.
  • "After the Superbowl, Brooklyn's 99 is ready to go"

Halftime Ends - Second Half Begins

  • Audi commercial "compromise scares us too"
  • Ads being punctuated by the sound of gunshots
  • Captain America spot premiers with the tag line "In heroes we trust"
  • Budweiser pulls hard at America's heartstrings with homecoming commercial

At this point, there is a large repetition of things already covered in my edits. I'm pretty tired at this point, so I'll be posting less. I'll stay with it till the end of the game, but will not be posting as much.

Yup, there's the 24 tie together

Final Edit: Well there you have it folks. The purpose of my post was to document media proceedings in the case that anything should happen. While no terrorist attack occurred, this game was fraught with ultra patriotism and propaganda and left me feeling very odd about nationalist sentiment. Take care everyone!

This super bowl is pretty fucking weird. Not saying anything is going down...but the whole..are you ready for whats next commercials is creeping me out..

"Are you ready for martial law? Find out this Friday, February 7th as the US decides on the debt ceiling (which has been undefined since December) while you're all conveniently distracted with the Olympics (and possibly Saudi Arabia's retaliation against Russia via Chechen terrorists)

Tune in this Friday!"

now there is a real showdown.

oh fuck its this Friday?

(and possibly Saudi Arabia's retaliation against Russia via Chechen terrorists)

Oh fu- what did I miss why do the Saudis not like the Russians?

russia prevented a war between the US and syria.

[deleted]

http://static3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130710154047/cardfight/images/6/60/Facepalm.png

no.

that was an embarrasingly bad guess.

the saudis want a US intervention in syria, because the syrian rebels are heavily funded by the saudis. the syrian civil war is a proxy war, and the saudis want the US to intervene because if it doesnt, the assad regime will stay in power.

And Saudi Arabia wanted the war avoided because they're interested in the conflict being internal rather than intervened in?

What? Saudi wanted American intervention, they dislike Assad and are funding a rebel faction trying to remove him from power.

I'd put my money on Putin. He isn't handcuffed by popular opinion the way the US can be.

So it's more than just Saudi Arabia being pro-USA it's the USA being put on notice for the Saudis arrogance in their relationship with Russia about Syria?

I don't exactly know, but what we all know is that the USA seems to be runing a smear campaign against the Olympics.

Examples - Gay rights, stray dogs, Volgograd bombing, unfinished sidewalks, (see the rest of reddit for more) etc..

Who knows why? It could be for a number of reasons, but I suspect there is something above and beyond the anti-Putin sentiment - something which is not yet publicly known. The world could use some NSA staff who are reading this post right right now to actually do something useful and go sift through emails of Saudi, Russian and American officials, and make public any emails between them, pertaining to the Olympics.

I agree. I have a weird anxiety about this game. That and the amount of police and security forces around the stadium is...concerning on multiple levels.

dont cry wolf yet..

Not crying wolf just yet. I'm trying to view this from an objective stance, without submitting to FF theories, ect. I feel anxiety, yes, but that just may be a case of "seeing what I'm looking for."

edit: words

Or it's them actually marketing to people who aren't into watching sports. Large market of people.. Fake an ff teaser before the big game.. Wouldn't be surprising.

Wouldn't be surprising at all. Either this is business as usual, or not. I'm making no claims about either possibility.

same. Who know's?

Yeah when I saw how much security they have it made me feel very uncomfortable. Ehhhh seems like they just are getting people comfortable with military and police. Heard people say things like "I feel so safe with all this security!"

Really? Armored trucks and snipers? That's our new normal?

I have tempered expectations. Admittedly, I bought into the whole "2012 London Olympics Occult Ritual" shit and followed the symbolism very closely, down to the "London Burning" commercials they were airing to support it. Just turned out to be much ado about nothing.

I almost have an uber conspiracy that they do it purposely to get larger amounts of viewers.. Think about it...market it to conspiracy theorists thinking something will happen.. weird but could happen.

Maybe, but then again it could just be the whole fear narrative that MSM constantly pushes, but on a subconsious/subliminal level... always making you feel like you have something to fear. Maybe they're just putting dots out there that they know subconsciously you will connect.

I was thinking exactly that when a friend of mine tagged me in some post about a possible bombing or something during the super bowl. I love playing, but I've never been able to sit through a game because of ADHD. I'm only watching the game right now to see if anything happens, to be honest.

It's so ridiculously over the top.

I'm more than convinced that's what pop stars do today with the illuminati shit. They reference it just to be able to get both crowds, the people who think it's all occult symbolism will watch and say all they want about it, the fans of the artists will still listen, they double dip on the revenue.

Lol no shit, tin foil nuts will watch commercials and over Analyze the fuck out of them over and over again, when really the companies that made them are just taking the piss.

I have tempered expectations. Admittedly, I bought into the whole "2012 London Olympics Occult Ritual" shit and followed the symbolism very closely, down to the "London Burning" commercials they were airing to support it. Just turned out to be much ado about nothing.

Exactly. The Olympics last year were a shit storm at /r/conspiracy.. People were absolutely freaking out left and right about so many "confirmed" things that were going to happen.

are you ready for what's next

I saw someone mention that recently in this sub in regards to normal daytime TV programming. Interesting food for thought.

[deleted]

Half of what I've seen today is reinforcing that sentiment. Then again, it is Fox.

Yeah, I've only been watching for about 15 minutes (logged in online to stream it during the timeout to check if that Bronco's player's knee was down on the fumble/strip, which it was) and have already noticed the crazy over-emphasis of faux-patriotism; specifically, that Coke ad with everyone singing "America the Beautiful" in different languages was especially gag-inducing and/or cringe-worthy.

Maserati commercial, We have prepared, now we strike.

I found that commercial very weird. What did the locusts, black birds, and the tornado have to do with it. I dunno about all this blood ritual shit but that was a weird commercial.

The rich have been preparing for when the lower classes try to take what's theirs. It kinda just reminded me of the Capitol from The Hunger Games. And it doesn't help that Phillip Seymour Hoffman was found dead and that they announced that he was found with a needle in his arm.

Do they do that every year? The whole 'Merica spiel and 9/11 and all of that?

No, Last year it wasn't like this at all. There were some rumblings about Detroit and such, but not all the American flags, soldiers, and "Prepare" warnings. When it was in Indianapolis (close to where I live) there was nothing of the sort. No snipers, no armored cars, just lots of fun and frivolity. People on my facebook are saying they are happy to see the patriotism, but it down right scares me. Really.

Honestly, I'm not sure. This is the first Super Bowl, since I was a child, I've actually watched.

I'll be giving my impression on many of the commercials. As they roll around I'll be starring the ones that really give off a strong message to me.

Sponsored by Disney's Muppets Most Wanted- A tale of combining the innocence of childhood with the white trash entertainment that undermines the destruction of the police force and horrible standards of prisons in America.

**Conan O'Brian with one eye covered with an eye patch (referencing the all seeing eye) said, "The NFL has no idea what it's in for... Unless it does(?)"... Basically I took it like he was saying for those who know what to look for, you're right" Though it could be misdirection. **

Sexually graphic yogurt commercial, "fuel your pleasure" people! Buy everything that makes you feel good and gets you hot chicks to lick questionable liquids off your pants.

Hidden Cameras reveal people are having fun and drinking, getting married, winning stuff, unaware they are being filmed.

Bud Light- "Stay in the game, drink responsibly"- AKA don't focus on the subliminal messages everywhere else.

***That Maserati commercial was uncanny. There's so much to interpret- if this is truly a message from the elite, I see it saying, "You, the masses, are capable of destruction. You do have more power than you are aware of, but as you slowly grow in size your intelligence dwindles. As we continue to feed you garbage that makes you sloth-like in mind and body, we will wait and strike." "We have prepared, now we strike." This is a tribute to those who are "exactly the opposite of ordinary"

"The Superbowl should almost be a national holiday, people celebrating everywhere."

Halftime - Starts off with that word we've heard recently, "Prepare"

Lot's of patriotism in all this, lots of reminders of supporting the troops, while repeating the word, "prepare"

Rednail64= possible shill, ignore him, all he is trying to do throughout this thread is give shotty excuses for well deserved ideas.

And submission history reveals he has one submission to this sub and more than 20 submissions to r/conspiratard. Case closed.

Clearly you've never seen Escape from New York. That Rob Riggle skit was an homage.

It's "shoddy", not "shotty".

And sure, I'm using a 4-year old account to shill. /s

With one submission to r/conspiracy and more than 20 submissions to r/conspiratard, it's obvious whose side you're really on.

I didn't know this was about "sides"

Halftime - Starts off with that word we've heard recently, "Prepare" That. It's that that really started my nerves.

No bigger game in the world? I'm pretty sure the world cup gets like 3x the Superbowl views. I think the Super Bowl is third or fifth in sport venue views globally.

No bigger game in the world? I'm pretty sure the world cup gets like 3x the Superbowl views. I think the Super Bowl is third or fifth in sport venue views globally.

It's a '24' ad.

Do you have evidence to support that assertion?

I'm 99.9999999999% sure. The beep gave it away.

Also: Jack is back (in London)

Commercial with an unknown person loading a gun with a beeping in the background, possibly a 24 commercial.

I have a feeling all the 3 sec commercials will be strung together in a cumulative advertisement for 24.

I agree especially after the last one, it really seems to be the case.

[deleted]

By all means! I have no specific goal by doing this, and I am definitely not the best person to be analyzing this stuff. The more people contribute, the better the discussion becomes. I would enjoy reading your assertions.

Pat Summerall is a false flag.

Even tough I'm watching it all on tv I keep coming back to check your comment to tell me what i missed. I missed nearly everything I guess

That motorcycle rotating with screaming and the sound of fire in the background was really eerie.

Agreed! What the heck was that all about?! Was there even a company name for that spot?

No, no text.

Didn't think so, thanks for verification. Wonder if we can find a recording of it.

I think the gear and explosions was for 24 as there was also a countdown noise.

Yeah I wondered about that motor cycle rotor. And the flames and screaming..... Really?

Holy fuck! Did anyone see that 5 sec advertisement of New York City with a solar eclipse and all it said was he is here... What the fuck. That was creepy!

I did indeed. It was promoting "The Strain" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Strain

how about the scientology commercial?

Not sure I caught that one. Can you describe it?

Hard to explain as I could't believe what I had just witnessed. Just something like the truth is here.. scientology. Not much to it. Quick.

I'm getting the sense that people are seeing different commercials. How are you watching the game? Livestream online? TV?

"The Strain" is a vampire novel that was published probably 3 years ago, now being made into a TV series. Written by the director, in a CRAZY coincidence.

yea i just noticed that british flag thing.. was really really really weird. after googling it it brought me here, no one else seems to really mention it. any ideas?

The prevailing thought is the weird spots are related to the TV show '24'

ahh ok. i thought we were going to war with the brits. thats cool too i suppose.

Thanks for your great work! This was all quite entertaining... First Superbowl i've ever watched for fun.

It was my pleasure! I liked the engagement that occurred during this whole event, and it was fun seeing how people reacted in real time to various commercials / statements. This was definitely an interesting experience.

Thanks for doing this. I was interested in what they were going to do, but couldn't stomach watching the game. Instead started re watching AHS Coven.

You're welcome! It was an interesting and fun experience to be sure. I would like to get into analysis a bit more, and this was a good introduction to monitoring events in real time. Seeing as how this was my first post on /r/conspiracy I'm glad that the community seemed interested in the whole process.

Thanks for putting this together. Interesting read for someone living in the Netherlands. Curious about the conclusion of the 'weird spots' though, did it turn out to be a viral for a TV show?

Anyway thanks for your efforts. Best of luck in the coming year, I feel we're close..

It was my pleasure. The weird spots did indeed turn out to be a continuing spot for the return of the show '24'

"Didn't catch the audio, but I just saw a British Flag on screen, followed by a bullet hole appearing in it"

I tuned in to the fox live stream just in time to catch this weird bit of data stream. I've been wondering about it the last couple of hours and this is the only reference to it that I have come across so far. I'm not saying it's anything but if anybody knows what it is I would be very interested in knowing its purpose.

It's a. 24 commercial for Christ sake!

Only audio I remember was a bullet shot when the hole appeared and then the music started getting a little tense. It cut immediately after that point.

I just logged into the Fox Online thing they're doing for free today to let everyone stream the game, and I caught it as well. Late in the 2nd quarter, with audio I believe (a gunshot), and it was pretty weird.

Probably nothing though, just some company trying to be "cutting-edge" and do something out of the ordinary with the intention of it going viral if I had to guess since it's apparently been on twice now...

Enjoying your updates keep bringing em

Thanks! Have added that info

The propaganda is strong this year.

Those American flags for the first few lyrics of billionaire, sung by children no less... Keeping the illusion of the American dream alive.

[deleted]

Did you see the word PREPARE in bold red letters behind them?

"A different city ever night oh I, I swear. The world better prepare. The world better prepare."

I was watching for something too. I thought something to do with the red horse.

Yeah I noticed that. From what I've been reading, the ads all are giving off this message of "preparedness" too (I'm not American. I can't see american ads).

Another war soon?

I Hope not

All the propaganda was half assed and half truth. Like they were making fun of some of the real shit that is happening.

Propaganda is strong every day, towards everything. People need to stop pretending that the MSM is the only outlet that breathes propaganda.

Has anyone here actually watched the Super Bowl before? It is always larger than life. It always is very patriotic, this year perhaps more than normal as it's the first in New York in decades. The commercials are always over the top, and often cryptic to take advantage of the huge audience and social media activity. And the productions and announcers always pull out all the stops...which can lead to awkward moments and comments.

The Super Bowl is bizarre for a variety of reasons (like all entertainment), but some sort of blood ritual or false flag conditioning it is not. Also, no one is uncovering anything surprising here with the patriotism angle -- this has been standard practice in American sports for years.

Enjoy the game, folks.

Look what you did, you little jerk.

[deleted]

My point wasn't that it's not weird or annoying because it is "tradition", but rather it was not out of the ordinary, and doesn't signify anything new or unusual. It's standard practice, particularly at big games. And no one here saying "OMG PATRIOTISM" is pointing out anything new. They would have known that if they regularly watch sports. Every regular fan is aware of the relationship. Folks in this sub who watch one Super Bowl are not suddenly uncovering some grand propaganda conspiracy.

[deleted]

Equating slavery and the Super Bowl. Keep up the good work bud.

When you can name the entire defensive lineup of your team, but not the Bill of Rights, it's not just a game...

No, it is just a game. But the culture around it is more than a game. There is comraderie, fun, excitement, etc., and there doesn't have to be anything wrong with that.

I seriously disagree, I'm done with any professional sports, either watching on TV or live events. I love sports and I'll still support local semi-pro or below teams, but as far as the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, I am utterly done. I don't like the amount of ads, the idolization of players, the supreme competitiveness. I'm not wearing the clothing or icons anymore. I'm discharging myself from the army of fans.

But when a simple sports game captivates people more than the complex socio/economic problems of our world that we live in today... and our children will live in... that is where I see wrong.

There were a lot of moments during the super bowl that gave me an impression of pre-WW2 fascist germany/italy.

Propaganda will become more prominent, and people will be alright with it. It moves so slowly that nobody will notice until it's too late. Only those who actually can see through the bullshit understand why certain inconsistencies occur in our media today.

I don't watch TV. It's pointless. It's a fucking screen that talks to you.

You can get all the news you need from the internet, minus the horse shit commercials, the right/left-wing biased nonsense, and having 30 minutes force fed into your cranium.

So why do we watch TV? To entertain ourselves? What about books? what about chess? What about going outside and talking with other people? What happened to all of that?

All of this idiocy regarding the super bowl hits me harder because I didn't watch it. I can't believe some of my friends can sit through that shit.

I enjoy watching football. It's fun entertainment. Just like all the other things you listed. Enjoying one is not exclusive of enjoying the others. Damn get off your high horse.

Common sense isn't welcome around here. You are clearly a shill.

You got me. I'm a shill for the military-industrial-football complex.

maserati ghibli ad was totally wierd

I see people I know on social media commenting that it was very odd, that aren't conspiracy-type people. It was very weird.

Hey man...I finally see you on this sub. Nice to see someone from another sub I frequent. If you really are "conspiracy"-minded you'd probably get a kick out of some of my other stories I've written in that series.

EDIT: And, as to your comment here...Are you starting to get the sense A LOT of people are starting to wake up so to speak?

I assume your talking NASCAR: From the far side? I didn't see any other ones but I found it very interesting.

And no, I don't see people awakening, I see people are probably more dumb than ever. The thing with the Maserati commercial most people commented on was the fact that it was seemingly out of place for a super bowl ad, more along the lines of how many people watching are going to buy Maserati's? I didn't see too many people think that the commercial's context was weird unfortunately.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I wrote one about the Ukrainian protests and one about Syria.

I guess what I'm seeing is a "now or never" moment. As in, we're coming to a crossroads where people will have to make a choice about what's going on around us, regardless of how awake they are. I guess when I see people talking about that commercial at all, for whatever reason, it's like a very small victory, like "Hey! People are asking questions at least..." I'm probably overly optimistic, but it's how I stay sane lately.

Awesome, I will look those up and re-read those.

I agree, a lot of people agree, but the problem is they are still stuck inside the paradigm of left vs. right. Ethics vs. Government Regulation, Free Market vs Crony Capitalism. But in reality its more than that. Its a flaw of human character that is the root of the problem.

I do find people that are like a lot of people in this sub out in the wild, but its a rarity, and even then they aren't fully vested in the movement. I too have optimism, but i'm afraid at the same time what a real revolution would bring. Its hard to stay sane sometimes, it really is.

Well, you'll have to buy them on the Kindle network. While I'd love to give them away for free, I'm currently poor, so there's that.

I'm constantly asking myself, "Is this a big conspiracy? Is this human nature? Both?" At the end of the day, what I see is this:

If we're all walking towards the grand canyon and there's a big red carpet with velvet ropes on both sides, and all of this is done by "them" to get us to walk off the edge...well who's responsible if we do? Us or "them". Where do we draw the line between blaming "them" and ourselves?

I don't know...

If we're all walking towards the grand canyon and there's a big red carpet with velvet ropes on both sides, and all of this is done by "them" to get us to walk off the edge...well who's responsible if we do? Us or "them". Where do we draw the line between blaming "them" and ourselves?

That is probably the most profound thing I've read that wasn't in a novel or critical literature.

On that note, I'd love to check them out, if you want me to pm a link to buy them I will look into for sure.

I was just going to sAy that

Very weird. Very creepy.

I didn't see the commercial live, but I had a chance to check it out a few minutes ago and I think that you might be looking into it a bit too much. Maserati released the Ghibli III as a new addition to their line of executive sedans just recently in 2013. I think this is what they mean by "We have prepared..." I assume that the lines that the boy voices over ("let them get huge, we'll stay small") could just reference that the car has a smaller engine than a comparable sports car such as Ferrari, who is known for their huge V12 engines, or even Lamborghini, who also favors a huge V10 engine. It's not impending doom, just a pretty turbocharged V6 pushing 410 hp!

I agree, but it's still a weird ad

This shouldn't be downvoted. It allows an active discussion of actual events that will be happening today. Documenting and publicizing every single instance of programming and control through the media can help everyone become more aware of it. I won't be watching at all, but I'll keep checking back to see what nonsense I'm glad to be missing.

Thank you. Today is all about "programming", as its openly the largest advertising day of the year, with many corporations looking to plant a mnemonic device to further their product.

I feel like you guys are just grasping at straws and seeing things that aren't there.

I'm just documenting to document. Nothing more/less

Alright. It just seems like anything remotely patriotic results in "OMG BRAINWASHING".

Well, that's how subtle 'brainwashing' takes place. Little bits over extended periods of time.

You could also call it: Propoganda...

And its just something fun. Its like how people watch for the commercials. It is fun to "be engaged" even if it is just dumb shit.

Philip Seymour Hoffman - Dead (Major surprise news story) - Also some rumor about yesterday being dead, "Death Hoax" (unsure if true)

[deleted]

Weird. Very weird.

How bout' that last touchdown though...

Interesting that Maserati was "prepare, then strike". I imagine the ad company knew Bruno's performance ahead of time.

I swear the world better prepare (for what?)

For when I'm a billionaire

Oh oooh oh oooh when I'm a billionaire

Prepare for what the hot wings and jalapeno bean dip are doing.

...24?

wonder what non-constitutional executive order will be passed tonight

[deleted]

Yeah that's weird. I was wondering if anyone noticed that

Hes here....than they show a triquetra which symbolizes the 666 in a trinity...yay Edit My own sentence is giving me a headache. This was a commercial for a t.v. show and apparently they were saying satan is here by using the triquetra symbolically. Lol...very interesting it shows satan as misspelled if not capitalized...>_>

This is an excellent thread, thanks for all the updates. I keep intending to message you an observation, but you catch it before I do. Very cool

You all really aren't getting that they're splicing in little, "creepy" bits about the return of 24 (which is clearly about something in London)?

It's advertising, and 24 having a clever marketing gimmick is what I'd expect.

I really miss when super bowl commercials were funny and enjoyable. They're all freaking patriotic and into cars now. Hate it.

The American Idol commercial was pretty strange with Katy Perry in the background singing the lyric "are you ready for, the perfect storm" again and again

Tim Tebow just called out/ insulted Iceland at a Summit on International Peace. This propaganda is pretty offensive.

I thought it was more of a nod to them about not putting up with their banking corruption. IE: breaking contracts

It seemed to me that they were insulting them by reprimanding them to stay focused in the meeting/summit

Those running and screaming commercials... Have to be for "24".

Totally what I was thinking, it has the same ticking down noise.

[deleted]

People say this every single year, and every single year nothing happens.

False flags won't hit the NFL. WAY too much money involved.

The church of the NFL is sacred space.

Especially after bolstering public sentiment of American Nationalism.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpsrdldNAMM

This car commercial is also just as eerie....WTF?

Nothing will happen today. It is preparing us for what is to come.

How long do we have?

I don't think anyone has that answer. I just see that they are going by prophecy to keep the religious world in fear that the end times are near. The four blood moons to be completed is just one of many that supposedly need to be completed before the culmination of everything. I just think this may be preparing us for events to start happening sooner rather than later. Who knows really. Only time will tell.

I'm pretty new here... what exactly are you talking about? Or are you being satirical?

Olympics.

[deleted]

Heard where? And what? Why February 15?

Treason bowl my ass.

"More like boreaphyll"

That radioshack commercial with the owl and the looting. wow, it's right in our faces.

Same with the beats commercial

I didn't catch that one

Pretty sure these random spots with screaming and no text/speach is a buildup to a movie or TV show. That last one screamed 24 to me, the very end of it had a brief sound bite of the sterotypical 24 countdown spund.

Coke commercial was all of the sudden American

With people all over the world singing of our graces also? Awkward. :/

No, those were Americans from different cultural backgrounds

Prepare?

Why were the kids singing "PREPARE,PREPARE,PREPARE" with it flashing in red on the screen behind them?

It's a lyric from his song "Billionaire"

I know but so much emphasis!

For what, like 5 seconds? It really wasn't that much in a 15 minute show

Stop discrediting everyone with your simple explanations, shill.

Have a beer and a wing and chill out.

It's clear your whole purpose here is to discredit those who are raising ideas and possibilities. Reading your post history it seems that's all you're good for.

Sorry to burst your desire for an echo chamber, but I'm simply commenting in a sub I belong to on a subject that interests me

If you don't like what I'm saying then downvote me and move on.

Hmm no, that would be nice of me wouldn't it? That would give you the opportunity to sway more opinion away from possible connections, which is what you want. This is a sub I belong to too and I will take any step however small to prevent people like you from making it go even more to shit.

So brave! Please, take whatever "steps" you feel necessary. I've broken no rules.

Isn't it Travie McCoy's song? It's only featuring Bruno Mars.

Not sure. I've never heard it labeled anyone other's than Bruno Mars.

Why did my comment saying that the British stuff is a 24 campaign get deleted?

There are promo spots for 24 that are not, in fact, hidden messages.

Yeah....my bad. I looked for it and checked my dashboard, and once I posted it was there again. But I don't normally look for my comments, so definitely MY error.

Carry on - 24 is set in London, etc etc

Sometimes it takes a second to post :p

Axe Peace, almost looks like propaganda for those North Korean viewers

Oh jack Bauer... You tease.

9/11, 9/11 was perpetrated by those within out own government!!

Heres come the declaration of independence and glorification of our military. How ironic, they talk of the declaration and the ideals, yet america today is nothing like the founding fathers envisioned

Love the beginning with the Declaration of Independence.

Yup, then Michelle decides she has something to add. Fucking lying straight through their teeth.

In other news, this game is starting to suck. I don't really care about either team, I just wanted a good game. As is, I can see Seattle winning by 21 points.

People were just shown burning with no context. Anyone else?

I just saw a British flag with sirens, bullet hole appears, flames consume the screen, then bud light ad.

Yeah it had the ticking clock which you're supposed to be conditioned to understand is the returning of the show 24

There wasn't a clock sound the last time I saw it.

I also must point out I've never heard of 24.

The show '24' is coming back after being off the air for a while. They even did the '24' beep at the end.

Oh, goddamn it. Tons of bad news today.

Yeah, what the fuck was that?

I didn't see that one. Are we seeing different commercials? I just saw the British Flag spot that ends with the flag being shot.

Bring out the children!

Lol "prepareeeeeeeee"

The world better prepare, prepare, prepare!!!

Oh come on /r/conspiracy now you're stretching it, its apart of his song.

Oh, I swear the world better prepare For when I'm a billionaire

But, it was repeated at least three times with an emphasis. They never officially ended the song.

I just watched my favorite action hero, Bruce Willis, tell me to hug the people around me.

I am in a movie theater watching the Superb Owl...we all looked at each other

Bruce Willis lost me after letting Ashton Kutcher walk his wife and kids down the red carpet several years ago. He followed up the rear like a total beta.

Yeah, I don't follow that shit at all, but my wife showed it to me and laughed. I remember feeling like I had lost one of my childhood heroes.

So much patriotism, I don't understand why.

Yeah. Did you see that commercial for bud?

The Homecoming one?

Yes.

Yes, that was too much. And as a sidebar, I posted something on Facebook about the overabundance of patriotism, and I got a private message from someone I don't even know telling me that there isn't any such thing as too much patriotism and that I should move to North Korea. Unfortunately I live in a state that has so many rednecks and a former friend of a friend's boyfriend is a big one.

Maybe we have a new war brewing

That Budweiser commercial was so ridiculous. Every soldier deserves a hero's welcome? Ok.... sure.

Instead they can barely get health insurance and 1 out of 3 veterans are homeless.

We like to only take care of the good looking ones.

Nah they don't even do that.

And one a day is committing suicide.

Damn that Chrysler commercial was hard to watch.

Speaking on a football stance, I don't understand why Manning stomps his foot to snap the ball. The D line knows exactly when to explode

He does that to let the center know he's ready, the center then choses when to snap the ball.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW MORE? Anybody else feeling that vibe?

The entire time I had a calm before the storm type feeling

This is a great thread to sort comments by "new". I usually don't do that, so sorry if I'm saying something that is common sense.

[deleted]

Yeah, I didn't realize this was their target audience

[deleted]

Christ this is the most one sided boring shit game I have ever watched....but than again i'm not a football fan and never watch. Only here to see what we think is gonna happen.

Yeah this game sucks, but honestly what do you think could happen?

Anything. Chemical attack. Bomb. Jesus coming back...lol nah.

Axe Peace. Tee hee hee...

[deleted]

They're not terrorists, they're dictators in love

What the heck happened to that long comment about the radio shack commercial. Half way through reading it click refresh and it was gone

Butterfinger was a good bit of comedy

The theme for this year's SuperbOwl: PREPARE

Be afraid, citizens.

I'm think the little back girl that was in the Maserati commercial was possibly in the choir.

Glad its over.

PREPARE
FOR FUCKING
WHAT

The British flag being shot up was a preview for the show '24' which is about terrorists. The first, I think like 7-8 seasons took place in the US now I guess it's in the UK area.

Edit: I hadn't noticed it but a friend said there was hints about the show throughout the game. Like the clock ticking.

To everyone saying the masserati spot was leading to something big about the 1 per-centers crushing the souls of the us normal people, i think you should re-watch. yes its an awkward spot because you dont think the average superbowl viewer would be in its target demo, but the actual copy just tells the story of how the brand as been slowly doing its own thing waiting for the other high end brands to get complacent and predictable and then allow masserati to strike to gain more market share...my take on it at least after quick re watchings and some basic research

Here's an article about them wanting to go more mainstream and increase sales http://www.autoguide.com/manufacturer/maserati/2014-maserati-ghibli-s-q4-review-3629.html

edit: add link

Anyone else notice that when they introduced the Broncos, they said something along the lines of, "We'll see if the Broncos can escape new york!"?

Because that was Kurt Russell, who was in the movie "Escape from New York".

Also during the anthem the cut to the screen upstairs "bomb bursting in air"

Can someone get a location on the weathertech factory?

Ok but are they as American as they say?

Superb Owl is so interesting..

If we go half time 3-22 score, I just don't know what to think

Well we didn't, so there's that.

what is the importance of a 3-22 score?

322 is the number of the secret society Skull and Bones, I think. Not too familiar with it myself.

edit: fixed name

Correct, there was a post earlier today about it with Tim Russet and interviews with Bush and Kerry. Wasn't it just Bronco's ball, 4th, and they didn't kick? What just happen to turnover the ball?

EDIT: 322 reference video

very interesting, thanks.

[deleted]

Good find!

3+2+2=7 obviously a very well known and used number of the occult. numerology 101

"The world better prepare"...

...THIS IS THE "BIGGEST CONCERT OF THE YEAR"?!?!

Right?!

That gave me chills

Whats up with that random 5-8 second clip of the screams, yells, and sirens? they keep showing things on fire and people running, and smoke like graphic.

Might be an ad for a certain show but it has yet to say any name.

Its for "24".

Just confirmed its 24.

[deleted]

"24" is coming back

Um, anybody catch them playing the riff from "Spirit in the Sky?"

I'm not watching a second of it. Not any YouTube analysis, no blogs, no nothing. Same for the Olympics.

Watch what you're inputting into your brains, folks. The subliminal imagery and messages have layers. You might be setting your own psyche up.

The thing that got me was the sports caster that kept saying world champions. It's the national football league!!!!

Hey so I'm a Bronco fan and it just got too agonizing to finish and there were a set of clips, not really commercials, that depicted the British flag first on only had it being shot once, second one I saw multiple times with some creepy ass ominous music playing in the background ... can anyone tell me what those were all about? I assume that it led up to something but because I didn't finish the game I didn't see it so just wondering where someone was going with that. Thanks.

It was related to the show "24"

Thanks

Did anyone catch the, "we're hermetically sealed in here" by the announcers before heading in to the last commercial? They were discussing weather, but still, weird words to have at the tip of the tongue or at the top of the mind.

Great catch! I remember the statement but didn't think anything of it. Makes sense considering the prevailing conspiracy is a chemical attack at the SuperBowl.

"You have a virus" anybody else catch that?

[deleted]

Yes you are so much smarter than most people. No one has ever pointed out the role of patriotism in American pro sports until you did. Thank you.

Totally. I've never seen that before, watched every Superbowl since the 80s.

Thanks! I usually don't watch the SuperBowl but found it kind of… strange. It was so militaristic, even for America. I usually don't write that aggressively but it really pissed me off.

3rd down of 22

Right before commercial, I heard this without knowing the context. All I know is that is 22 / zip and the Bronco's are getting their butt kicked. Maybe we'll see a field goal for a nice odd 3-22 reference

I did find this picture, tweeted by John Legere very interesting.

Those are the people who were holding the LED panels in blackout cloaks so they couldn't be seen during the halftime show intro.

That makes sense, was very odd. But the way the halftime show was shot made it seem as if the crowd was huge.

It was hard to tell. I saw riot cops. shrug

If you look closely you can see them holding the square panels

Brain said riot shields, turned them into cops. Second look resolved that. :)

I'm not sure what I'm looking at here. What is going on on the field?

Weird to see Dylan speak on behalf of a car company

Sooooo strange.

Such a bullshit belief.

Go Broncos!!!

SHILL! */s

[deleted]

Does it? Does it really reek of a blood sacrifice? That an actor who has had heroin problems for years, who just got out of rehab, relapsed and died of an OD?

Really? It reeks of some blood sacrifice?

Really?

edit: Downvotes? Really? I'm just asking questions here. Who wants to censor me?!!

an upvote for you good sir

February 2 is the day of the blood sacrifice. Human or animal.

lets sacrifice the ground hog. its not his day anymore

Ted Nugent shot one in the face earlier. Saw it on facebook.

makes a change from Nugget shooting one in his own pants.

Please tell me this is a joke.

you guys are all so special unlike those stupid sheeple.

Dude, hate all you want. Today is all about advertising. Someone is spending large dollars to send a message during this highly watched broadcast. At the very least it's interesting to see what those budgets are spent on.

So you're thinking there's a single unifying message in all the commercials (serious)

No

No one said they were special. Just interesting to watch.

Oh sorry for trying to predict something that could theoretically kill thousands. SO FUCKING SORRY. I don't hold myself above anyone else. Its up to anyone and everyone to pay attention to what is going on in the world. But hey its kewl to just ad conjecture to stir up drama for the shits and giggles huh.

LOL

Honestly, I'm not sure. This is the first Super Bowl, since I was a child, I've actually watched.

Thank you. Today is all about "programming", as its openly the largest advertising day of the year, with many corporations looking to plant a mnemonic device to further their product.

Yeah that's weird. I was wondering if anyone noticed that

Ok but are they as American as they say?

Yeah this game sucks, but honestly what do you think could happen?

Oh, goddamn it. Tons of bad news today.

I'm 99.9999999999% sure. The beep gave it away.

Also: Jack is back (in London)

very interesting, thanks.

Totally what I was thinking, it has the same ticking down noise.

That makes sense, was very odd. But the way the halftime show was shot made it seem as if the crowd was huge.

It was hard to tell. I saw riot cops. shrug

Yeah. Did you see that commercial for bud?

Maybe we have a new war brewing

No, Last year it wasn't like this at all. There were some rumblings about Detroit and such, but not all the American flags, soldiers, and "Prepare" warnings. When it was in Indianapolis (close to where I live) there was nothing of the sort. No snipers, no armored cars, just lots of fun and frivolity. People on my facebook are saying they are happy to see the patriotism, but it down right scares me. Really.

With one submission to r/conspiracy and more than 20 submissions to r/conspiratard, it's obvious whose side you're really on.

I Hope not

He does that to let the center know he's ready, the center then choses when to snap the ball.
