Things in the UK aren't really so bad tbh, apart from some quite bad but very localised flooding things are generally relatively normal - We have had a spate of particularly fierce storms here in the SW, but we are fairly used to them in winter.

Although I think I do understand the jist of your post, that (I assume US) media can be a bit scant on global issues.

e2a: Actually there's quite a few flood warnings upcountry now, although it's sunny here so perhaps things might be a bit nasty in the SE.

flood map if you are interested.

Thanks for the map. Stay dry!

hyperbole much? ukraine is not on fire.

source: i've been in maidan 3 times in the last 2 days.

You get what I am saying though, right? I find it silly to speak so much of PSH and not at all of more serious matters. He acted, great...then he died...oh no? Of what? Heroin....case closed.

I am going to go one step further and say he was helped into the LD50.

The Cobain conspiracy does have notable evidence, therefore it's worthy of discussion. Cobain was a significant figure in popular culture at the time, he was more than a junkie. I don't see how AIDS or political unrest are actual conspiracies.

A Google search will turn up an awful lot as far as an aids conspiracy. Unrest (I think you meant social, not political) isn't as easy to pin down but one doesn't need to think back too far to remember the occupy movement. Wasn't that funded by soros iirc?

Wait, are you referring to Cobain?

Phillip Seymore Hoffman

We're not completely underwater!

Although I thought I saw a guy on a boat who looked a bit too much like Kevin Costner for my liking.

Waterworld: The prologue? Children of Men starting in reverse with water instead of no babies? In either case, I would get on that boat.
