Snowden leak: In 2008, the White House’s head of the Office of Information & Regulatory Affairs proposed sending covert agents into “chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups” which spread what he views as false and damaging “conspiracy theories” about the government.

Do you hear that?

Crickets. Silence.

It used to be:

"Why does r/conspiracy think they are important enough for the government to target them? See how crazy and self-involved they are!"

How many times to conspiracy theorists have to be proven right in order for people to wake the fuck up and realize what is going on?

As more conspiracies become known, people just stick their heads deeper into the sand. This is profoundly atypical human behavior. Humans have been conditioned to act against their own self interest. Humans used to be good at recognizing danger in their environment. That quality has allowed us to evolve into becoming the animal at the top of the food chain.

What the fuck happened to us? Conditioning, propaganda and brainwashing. That's what happened.

I think that some kind of cataclyms happened around 100,000 years ago that caused a deviation from that. Studying philosophy and Egyptian mysticism has led me to some interesting ideas about human nature being directed since the times of said cataclysm made us go into fight or flight mode, which is easy to take advatage of if you control any resources.

It's now like EVER SINGLE FUCKING TOPIC we are vindicated. The fears we had that so many considered unfounded are being proven true time and time again.

I think it is in our nature to desire to be part of the group, you have to believe what the group believes, see how the group sees, or you lose your self esteem and identity.

If this whole escapade has made me realize anything its that the ones trying to control us are right, humans are irrational and very few deserve to be free to make their own decisions, especially when their decisions effect everyone else. It is a hard thing to come to grasp with, but in some sense they are right for what they do, if humans were better none of this would be possible. Shitty way to look at it but its all i got.

Perhaps the reason humans aren't "better" is because TPTB have fucked with the natural order of things to benefit them and it has created a system of false incentives that cause people to work against their own self interest.

Perhaps the people you think are right for trying to control us because we lack the ability to conduct our lives properly ourselves are the exact cause and reason things are so fucked up in the first place.

You should not revere sociopaths so much. They are not better than us. They are worse because they want to destroy and control human beings.

I dont know man i just look at how obvious it is of whats going on everywhere around the world and the only people trying to do anything about it get accosted by the very people they are trying to help. People are just dumb i guess, i dont know shitty race to incarnate into.

I know how you feel brother. Genuinely. Our efforts aren't in vein though. It'll be slow and perhaps very tragic, but history has shown us that we will continue to evolve. We can only hope we do not blow ourselves up or poison the Earth too much in the time it takes to really become civilized.

I don't think you'll be able to talk any sense into him. Seems like he is EXACTLY what this thread is about.

we were hope and changed

Bush lied America died, Obama tried to save us but even the new messiah was no match for the evil within

Someone high up cares enough about our theories to try and discredit them so they can't all be that far off.

Water boils from the bottom.

Watch this entire thread get downvoted by the government.

We all would, yet they will never be discussed. More proof of this being a PR campaign. A controlled limited hangout.

It truly doesn't matter whether we are even correct in our beliefs as far as this story is concerned - we pose a threat to the existing system either way, and whether or not the government is responsible for all the villainous shit we know them to be responsible for, if we can convince others its true, they lose more power. So even if we are wrong about 99% of our shit, they still don't want us convincing other people to come around to our perspective. They'd much rather discredit us with reptilian theories and set any potential allies against us.

If the government floods us with false conspiracies, the "real" conspiracies would seem outrageous and would be instantly overlooked by the general public. Kind of a smart idea from the government if this was true.

This is definitely what happens, whether the government does it or not. Could just be organized PR campaigns by private interests. Could it really just be people that are just jaded they think lizards rule the world and the illuminati rapes children and shit? That shit sounds over the top man. It sounds like something to muddy the water.

The silence says a lot. I agree. Used to be we have a persecution complex. Now the truth is out.

They, as we have seen, are doing this right now. We publicly identify them, since they work on a fixed playbook. They see able to be spotted with relative ease.

What would they be so afraid of that they would try to discredit the us people?

Two things 9/11 Yeah. Guess what. They know were getting close.

Which would also be the second thing Our government is being controlled and used for a very few rich people who are gaming the entire everything.

I often thought that outlandishly crazy "conspiracy theories" were concocted just to feed those ass clowns in /r/conspiratard and to discredit and take attention off the real issues, like 9/11, Sandy Hook, etc.
