How to honey pot trap and means test the 5-eyes automated filtering system and check whether your Reddit account is being monitored... at least until they fix the glitch. A practical guide.

Step 1. Submit some ridiculously stupid post on several subs about biological weapons or similar to activate automated queries. Use subs that are likely to catch filters attention such as /r/conspiracy, /r/Anarcho_Capitalism, /r/politcs, /r/occupywallstreet
Step 2. Create a new subreddit and name it something controversial such as, /r/fuckyoueveryone, etc.
Step 3. Ensure that new sub is set to private and all subreddit features are set to the most restrictive.
Step 4. Wait for crawlers to find your posts, if they haven't already. There is a chance you will experience a Reddit down for maintenance screen after the filters notice you.
Step 5. Periodically check your private sub and check the "number of users here now" count.
If that count goes above ~2 it is likely because your account is being watched and they are not very good at it.
Dear Government Bureaucrat #toojadedtocareanymore. Please PM me about recruitment and job opportunities with your organization to help correct your glitch as I have absolutely no desire to harm anyone. I am a patriot and love my country, but do find your systems testing and implementation department needing improvement and I would be a valuable member to your team. As an independent contractor I could help to correct the errors that seem to be missed by the current systems implementation team.

After I created a private sub, within seconds there were 6 people visiting it. 6.

I get that reddit is down page a lot.
May have to try the private sub thing.
Edit: Made the private sub...and shortly after 5 visitors.

yeah have had some very suspicious incidences of those screens
gotta love the:
we took too long to create this page for you!
4 Mrg13 2014-02-27
Yeah and did they make a new page for it?
I saw a weird one yesterday. It was dark back round and a blue Snoo

make sure your private sub includes 1 or more of the red hot k3yw0rds that bring all da shillz to da yard, you know the ones

I keep wondering if there will be a crackdown someday on all those guilty of posting 'anti-patriotic' stuff.

Brilliant

I just tried it and only have 2 users. I must not rate.
2 HS_00 2014-02-27
Nope, all I had to do was wait 9 minutes. Now I have 8 users in my private sub.
2 HoopDreamsDaily 2014-02-27
Yep. 6 users on now.

You can rot in hell for selling your soul to offer service this beast for a few dollars. The lower rings or hell are set up for pieces of shit like you. Enjoy your temporal, selfish existence.

That's probably one of the best forms of subversion. Think about what Snowden was doing.

not sure this works but certainly an interesting idea, making a new subreddit seems to always give ~6 users here after it is immediately created... while this number obviously doesn't make any sense for a private subreddit it is probably just how reddit is programmed to display number of users for a new subreddit, osit

yup, I'm way on the watch list....shit I have subs with 1 member an 8 readers, bahaha...I'm "down for maintenece" quite a bit...I like r/beastyality, anal fist fucking and all the good stuff they have to offer.

Or, if you're a regular in /r/conspiracy you may skip step one. I skipped it, same results. Will try testing from another IP with a new account to see if that changes it.

/r/chrononaut has ~3 right now but it had ~7 when I first started it. Maybe Andrew Basiago isn't so full of shit after all.

Dude, of coarse this is going to get you monitored by the feds, dumb ass
1 arynx 2014-02-27
Interesting concept. As a subreddit creator, is it possible to see a log of visitors? Not just the count, but usernames as well.
If so, it'd be an interesting way to find shill bots.
