It's been this way for a while. We have checkpoints to check our papers. Illegal no knock raids. Botched raids. Corruption all the way up the LE ladder. The judges are complicit as well. Non violent offenders are being incarcerated for life. The list goes on and on. How can we go another level?
So ok, police all over the country are shooting people over nothing. Roger that. But my question is what the fuck? Where is the public outcry? Why have we not started shooting cops. Srs.
What I wonder is how long before people against gun ownership start to have an epiphany. I'm young, 23, but up until last year I was against owning a gun. I've learned.
The reason for owning a gun now is to shoot dangerous cops?
How do we know a cop is dangerous enough to shoot? They like pointing guns all the time. Will them killing your family pet deserve your bullets? How about if you witness a cop shooting someone else? Will you shoot the cop?
Just making sure what the new pro gun narrative is here.
Forget them, they are already too far gone. If you have not woken up yet. You might as well be working for big brother. They my not ever have an epiphany.
I can't think that way. I think every individual has the potential to coexist. I don't want to forget them but try my best to genuinely and honestly persuade them with logic and reason.
Shameless plug? lol. Logic over force till it impossible to reason. These people will not be reasonable. Not only that but anything you say can and will be used against you. You are already losing off the bat. Not only that but until america wakes the hell up we are gonna be out numbered in most situations.
Logic over force till it impossible to reason. These people will not be reasonable.
But some people are reasonable when shown the light. I'd like to believe I was one of those people. Yet if I hadn't seen how would I ever have known? These people need somebody to show them. In this situation it's gun ownership.
Not only that but anything you say can and will be used against you. You are already losing off the bat. Not only that but until america wakes the hell up we are gonna be out numbered in most situations.
I see all of these sentences as negative. I'd like to focus on turning things into a positive.
Got comments confused. hmm. Anyways, that is great man. You like positivity. I am happy for you. Me, I only know how to solve problems in the real world. You know the place were it is kill or be killed. What we used to understand when we were in nature seeing that fact every single day. Realizing that this is a dog eat dog world. We are so disconnected from the reality of how serious the repercussions are of this situation. You seem like the guy that would try to talk to the cops after they broke your door down, shot your dog, raped your wife. You really think at that point reason is going to prevail? Life is not a pretty thing.
Trust me though I'm right with you. I'm scared to death of an incorrect warrant being served; some cop with a bad attitude ending your life over a misunderstanding; all of that while there are not repercussions but basically vacations given when these incidents occur. To Protect & Serve is a motto from the past and needs be updated to something more fitting.
Indeed. My problem is that we have to do something drastic and quick or this is gonna become common place and accepted...If it has not already happened. Everyone is so damn scared of killing. Do you think those people in medieval times were scared of killing? We behave as if they will just disappear if we don't focus on it. That is what a child does when he is scared. He hides under his bed and attempts to "pretend" that the problem is not really there.
I agree. Back in the day if the Sheriff did something un-honorable he'd be shot & likely the guy that shot him would take over in his place. Nowadays however we're not even allowed due process of a Jury; you're instead treated as 100% guilty regardless of the offense. Then once you're branded as this 'lawless' individual the cops use every opportunity to flex their muscle. The argument that cops don't look to kill or are not turned on by it is crap. It's crap because in these instances officers shoot first rather risk their life in the line of duty; which correct me if I'm wrong; is part of their job. They're not out there protecting the public - they're out there protecting themselves. Avoid interactions with Public Officers at all times. They see you as either an early paid vacation or another paycheck perhaps with some Overtime if they can 'justify' killing you.
Exactly, It is their job to kill. Mercenary anyone? So here is the real question. If they cops are corrupt, who is to "police" them? The answer is US. It would be nice to think that cops are here "to serve and protect" but that is just not the case anymore. There is always exceptions BUT this is now becoming the majority and if the good cops want to be considered good then they need to start doing something of substance about what they HAVE to see going on.All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent -unknown. Also JFK's quote fits in here as well. "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." - John F. Kennedy
If they think we will not start capping their fucking asses, they are bewildered.
Shooting a cop nowadays is essentially committing suicide. I remember a while back a cop shooter was on the run and the police finally caught him (I think in Seattle) and killed him. Motherfuckers were high-fiving in the street and cheering.
And lets not forget that one guy they burned alive in a log cabin...
US police agencies operate under less restrictive rules of engagement stateside than our military does in combat zones overseas. To serve a protect (themselves), I guess.
I really wish we would stop focusing on individual events like this. bad cop no donut is exactly for this. Yes there is a police state conspiracy but this sub is intended to look at things from a higher perspective.
I mean...and maybe this is just me being unreasonable here...but it seems to me that if he did in fact have a gun on him when they shot him that they would have recovered said gun and been able to say conclusively that he had a gun on him at the time.
And then theres the actual video...dude puts his hands down at his side and someone opens fire. Unless the sound on the video is just super fucked up, its basically impossible that broheim shot at the police.
Did he gave a gun? Who knows? But some studies have indicated that the radiation emitted by cell phones might potentially cause cancer or other harm, so the cop had every right to fear for his life. [SARCASM]
Also I am confident that the Albuquerque Police Department will "investigate" this matter thoroughly, and that the officer(s) will be exonerated from any wrongdoing.

That's the question our government asks every single day.

Right on. Sometimes I forget how evil our rulers are.

I want to own a gun for personal, home protection. Bottom line.
I can't give details of how I would react in specific scenarios because I have no idea.
