Does anyone know why, specifically, this user was banned today? Mods? Admins?
It seems to me like there are some people in high places on this website who really don't like the research this user has done on SH.

I also love the instant downvotes on this post. Can't say it wasn't expected.

Cool bot. Can one do it to themselves? I'm curious.

Haha, I laughed at /r/Pokemon
Also, I assume you live in Toronto, Canada. Just feeling a huntch.

I'm a paid pokemon shill, oh no my cover has been blown! ahaha
Jokes aside, I was a tiny bit relieved to see I post slightly more about news/politics than I do my video games : P
Yep, originally from Toronto, but moved to Dubai recently (which isn't reflected here yet).

That is pretty damn cool. Trying to figure out what it says about me.
8 _Roland_Deschain_ 2014-03-30
Wow. What the hell is going on? Third times a charm? The outward witch hunt on this person is pretty apparent, yet it is this person that gets banned.
Wonder what the reason will be this time...
5 Ambiguously_Ironic 2014-03-30
Probably gonna claim "doxxing" again without any proof. It worked the first two times, why not a third?
-6 DJ_Chaps 2014-03-30
Proof was provided. He tries to edit his posts, but this time they were screen grabbed in time.
8 Ambiguously_Ironic 2014-03-30
Where's this proof you speak of? Let's see it.
-5 DJ_Chaps 2014-03-30
Proof? Well, it had been hastily removed from offending posts, of course. But it seems they were screen grabbed before the edit. You cant post names, faces, addresses and pics of said addresses. Apparently its agaunst the rules.
5 Ambiguously_Ironic 2014-03-30
Screen grabbed by who? Where were/are they posted? Just show me the proof and I'll shut up.
0 DJ_Chaps 2014-03-30
Screen grabbed by reptillian shills, they were originally posted in this sub. I wasn't the screengrabber so I dont have the image on file.
-2 wearethewolves 2014-03-30
You want someone to post personal information that somebody else was already banned for?
2 oblivioustoobvious 2014-03-30
Thanks for pointing out the catch 22 of why it's easy to shut somebody up by claiming they doxxed. Because proof of said doxxing cannot be provided without breaking a rule in itself.
0 [deleted] 2014-03-30
He doesn't want to not have proof. You seem to have access to the screen.
1 wearethewolves 2014-03-30
Excuse me?
-1 [deleted] 2014-03-30
did you fart?
3 _Roland_Deschain_ 2014-03-30
Even if that had happened as you say it has.. Doxxing happens on reddit all day long. I've seen it in plenty of other subs and on the front page. Whether it be intentional or not. Again, the witch hunt is strong with this one.
2 wearethewolves 2014-03-30
Where's your proof that it happens on other subs all day long?

You may be right, I dunno. The guy had to send msg directly to an admin whose name I dont recall. The report link is apparently ass.
6 Shilling4Life 2014-03-30
I'm the one who reported him to admins and got him banned. He posted a bunch of completely un-redacted personal information last night. I saw it this morning and messaged the mods. He was banned within 10 min for doxxing.
HERE'S PROOF: http://imgur.com/26nlN9g
I blurred the Admin's name to preserve their inbox from an influx of u/newtruth221's supporters angry comments. I also blocked out some of the url to make it harder to find cached versions of his posts. I don't want to help him to spread personal information.
10 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2014-03-30
Why didn't you message the mods of this subreddit? Why did you go right to the admins?
*Oh you're a tard user who has violated rule 9.
Banned.
8 WideAwakeSheepNoMore 2014-03-30
Why wouldn't this be reported to the admins? Considering that everybody knows this guy has already been banned site-wide twice for the same offense ,it seems like he's kinda lost the right to warnings.
You can see in that screenshot that the mods had previously discussed this issue with him and he had agreed to not include names and other personal identifying information. They agreed on a line that could not be crossed and then he crossed it. He didn't deserve a slap on this wrist warning, he deserved a ban.
3 fexfexfex 2014-03-30
Well, his name says it all. Doesn't it?
He's probably one of those senior citizens that stay up all night with binoculars spying on the neighbors so they don't step on his lawn.
2 Sabremesh 2014-03-30
Nice one. I was about trespass into Rule 10 territory because of that nasty little weasel, so a "tard ban" is most welcome.
-5 GreatWhitePhoenix 2014-03-30
You're doing God's work AATA.
2 Ambiguously_Ironic 2014-03-30
All that proves is that you and the admins sent messages to each other about banning that user. Where's the proof that any doxxing actually occurred? Are we supposed to just take yours and the admins' collective word for it? Why would you block out the URL to make it impossible to reference the post in question?
-1 Totally_not_a_shill 2014-03-30
The post was taken down by the mods... for doxxing. I can verify that this actually happened, having seen the post. I don't think newtruth221 was even denying it happened.
2 [deleted] 2014-03-30
I can verify you are lying. But am prohibited from doing so. Trust me.
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2014-03-30
So I should just take your word for it? Nah, I'm good.
1 Totally_not_a_shill 2014-03-30
Do your own research then. Just don't assume the user didn't do anything wrong.

Lol. My agenda is to determine exactly why this user had their third account banned. The circumstances surrounding both of the first two were sketchy as all hell to say the least, so I'd like some proof that this user broke any rules before I just blindly take you and the admins' at their word - their credibility is not beyond reproach.
Just give me the URL where the supposed doxxing took place and I'll look myself.

This will get downvoted but I don't care. This conspiracy sub is my fav of all the subs. It's almost like watching people talk about religion. Regardless of evidence or common sense the conspiracy theorists will still stick to their guns and even claim the evidence is part of the conspiracy. The banned person posted images of a dude's face along with pictures of his home and his place of work. So even with evidence of doxxing the conspiracy theorist will claim the doxxing charges are false. It's seriously just like religion lol. Keep up the good work guys. You guys provide me with great entertainment.
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2014-03-30
Whose face/home/place of work? Is there even a shred of proof for this claim or should we just take your word for it?

The proof of the reason for the ban is the ban itself? Is that really the claim you're trying to make?
When did I ever say that? If you're going to put words in my mouth, you can fuck off.
I will, however, say that I (apparently unlike you) am not willing to just take the admins (or anyone else, for that matter) at their word on things like this. Their judgement is not beyond reproach.

The censorship on this site is rampant, blatant, and well-documented. The admins are at best incompetently allowing it to happen, at worst complicit and/or directly involved.
This does not, however, mean that I believe they are "in on the fake school shooting" as you dishonestly asserted. Is it possible? Sure, but I think it's more likely that they (the admins) were/are pressured to take action on things like this by someone higher up the chain. This is all speculation, of course, but it does have a lot of circumstantial evidence to support the theory.
Do you think it's impossible that admins have banned users unjustly before? Are we not allowed to question their decisions or ask for evidence supporting their claims? Should we just take them at their word, despite the evidence of mod abuse all over this site and despite our knowing that the manipulation of online discourse is a very real thing?

Did you not see the clusterfuck going on in /r/technology regarding the blatant censorship of certain "keywords"? Have you not followed the equally blatant censorship in /r/worldnews and /r/politics, among others? That is the censorship I was referring to - like I said, it has been well-documented.
Again, you're putting words in my mouth. I specifically said that it was speculation based on circumstantial evidence. Where would you suggest I go to find evidence of admin corruption if it did indeed exist? Should I just send them a message and request some?
I think that that's a possibility based on the censorship that's present on this site and how vigorously this user has been attacked and also how scant and sketchy the "proof" has been for each of her three account bans, as well as the circumstances surrounding them.
Nice thinly veiled personal attack/insult, luckily your personal opinion about me is completely irrelevant to all of this. I stand by every word I've said, just not the ones you're trying to put in my mouth. I don't claim to know what happened, I'm just asking questions.
0 SaxonWitch 2014-03-30
Eh? In religion there is no proof whatsoever, that is why they need faith. Here you get a lot of evidence, proper evidence that is poo pooed by ignorant people who won't hear, see or understand. There are scientists adding evidence, you can read up official documents, there are videos/pictures you can look at; yet nothing sticks with those that live in their own perfect Disneyland who don't want to see. Your comment is derogative, misinformed and condescending. Doesn't add anything to the discussion, hence it is akin to...I don't want to get banned here but you know.
