What are you planning to do when the government comes to take your guns?

By now it's completely obvious that the federal government is planning to start siezing all of our firearms very soon. De-arming the populace is something the President has talked about more and more.
So my question is, what are you planning to do exactly when they show up to take our guns? Will you just hand them over?

There's no way they'll be "showing up" and taking guns. It isn't practical by any means.
If they are going to be taken it will be slowly and through legislation or possibly a grassroots movement.

You miss the trick. They are going to try to convince us to surrender them of our own accord. The best way to convince someone of something foolish is to make them think it was their idea.

And, most sadly, it worked out pretty well for them in Australia, the UK and all of Europe, Canada...

Yep.

False flags left and right. That's how they do it.

They will try to scare the majority of gun owners to hand them over like in Australia with the threat of imprisonment. If you don't surrender with these people they will probably try to detain you at work or at a traffic stop then go clean out your gun cabinet while nobody is home.

Hide them.

die
I doubt it will be a peaceful, "hey buddy can you hand me your guns and sign this form? Thanks"
I think they'll probably use the same tactics they use in Iraq and Afghanistan, which would be a middle of night "home invasion" style op. I don't how I would react to a flash bang and swat team waking me up, but I'm guessing my tendency to run towards loud noises would probably result in my being shot.

They won't find any.

They won't be found. Home depot sells all the supplies to make a long gun cache.

Sadly, i dont own any guns. But, if i did, they would never know and therefor they woukd never be able to take them ;-)

How is it obvious that the government is going to dis arm the American people?

Nice try ATF/CIA/DEA/DHS/FBI/NSA.
In all seriousness, I don't see it happening.
If anything, they're using the fear to shake loose the low-hanging fruit to justify further control and legislation.

They already did.

why would I tell you or elude to any sort of "plan"?. with what we know about our president it would be very foolish to spout off that sort of info.
what are your plans? are you a paid shill?

How is it obvious? I don't trust the government farther than I could throw Dick Cheney and it's not obvious to me. Please explain it.
What am I planning to do? Same thing I'm planning to do if Dina Meyer knocks on my door and asks me to cook her dinner. I have no plan. Because I don't expect it to happen.

Something like 6.9% of US households own a gun, down from 50% in the 70's. They don't need to take our guns, we just eventually give them up and due to the economy we can't afford to buy any. Why waste man power when you don't need to?

Household Gun Ownership on Rise in U.S. Poll: Household Gun Ownership on Rise in U.S. The latest Economist/YouGov poll shows that 39 percent of American households own guns, which represents a five percent increase over the number of gun owning households in 2012.

Hmm, no idea where I got that number from then, but it was stuck up in my mind.

Shit happens. No worries, I did not know it either but I got curious after reading your number and looked for it.
