Can someone please explain what the hell is going on with these immigrants at the border, what are they supposedly fleeing from, how do they make it from Central America through Mexico without resources?

You should read Enrique's Journey, which is about a young man who goes from Honduras to the U.S. by himself to be with his mother who left to the U.S. when he was still very young so she could support her children when their dead beat father left them.

It's a really well researched representation of why these people leave and the lengths they go to in order to get here.

Ok guys seriously, when did this start, under what premise are these people seeking asylum, and how do they get to our border from Central America?

It started several months ago mostly because of a massive misunderstanding.

The Obama administration decided that children, brought here by their parents, will be allowed to stay in the United States legally. Under the new rules children that we brought here prior to 2010 without a criminal record can stay legally.

In central American countries though, this was announced as "bring your kids to America and they'll be allowed to stay." Which is incorrect. It was likely a mixture of actual misunderstanding and smuggling organizations intentionally misleading people.

So anyway, this cased a massive influx of aliens into south Texas. The numbers are so great that it's forcing us to release them anyway because we simply don't have the resources to hold them all. Everyone has the right to plead their case to a judge and we just don't have anywhere near the number of immigration judges to hold everyone in custody until their court date. So they're released with a pending court date which, of course, they will never go to.

Ironically, because so many people erroneously believed that they would be allowed to stay they are probably going to be allowed to stay anyway.

under what premise are these people seeking asylum

The asylum thing isn't really relevant. None of them (or at least very few) are seriously claiming asylum.

and how do they get to our border from Central America?

It's really not that difficult or expensive to travel that far. They just spend a few weeks on buses. Mexico is offering 30 day visas for travelers just passing through.

Well thanks for the straight answer. I figured there had to be some asylum issue or something like that to be pushing these people north.

No, Mexico is NOT offering 30 day visas.

The most they can receive is a 45 day notice that they can return to their appointment for their refugee status interviews and are only allowed to be within the state that they applied for asylum. This applies to every country that ratified the international refugee conventions, which is most of the world.

I believe the tactic is to apply for this interview and use the notice to attempt to make it to The Beast, from there they go up north. But, they're hounded the entire way. Extortion, bribery, blackmail, rape, death, prostitution. Kind of like a continuous Trail of Tears.

Another interesting fact, the recent appointee to head the Instituto Nacional de Migracion (Immigration Department) is a hard head who has turned immigration processing centers into detention facilities. He's actually a career member of the Mexican intelligence community.

Take large cargo helicopter....load it up with them, drop them back off 50 miles into Mexico.....done. They arent citizens, therefore they have no right to due process. You say ones without a criminal record are supposed to stay yet their first act in this country was committing a crime....Start flying them back over hundreds at a time.

Take large cargo helicopter....load it up with them, drop them back off 50 miles into Mexico

They're not Mexicans

They arent citizens, therefore they have no right to due process.

That is constitutionally incorrect

You say ones without a criminal record are supposed to stay yet their first act in this country was committing a crime

Crossing illegally, barring certain specific circumstances, is an administrative crime akin to getting a traffic ticket. it would be misleading to call a guy with a speeding a criminal. Crossing illegally is the same.

While in the US for 11 months I received two traffic violation tickets totaling nearly $500. I had to sign a piece of paper to not be sent to jail and then my "bail" amount came in the mail. I sure felt like a criminal but I'm glad that you don't see it that way. Currently I'm living in Europe and so keeping my self clean in America.

So why are they being so tight-lipped about the immigrants? Why was a US Congressman denied access to the facility?

(Ask HQ. Be sure you got the correct talking points.)

He was denied access because he just randomly showed up at the gate demanding to be let in and that's not how it works. I've personally met several congressmen doing tours of various facilities.

Cool, got any names for us? Which facilities?

And why so tight-lipped about these kids?

Mcallen and Nogales.

They're not really. Most of the news stories I've seen have their information mostly correct.

Who?? Here's a list of all 540 Congresspeople, fwiw. http://www.anusha.com/congress.htm

There are lots of stories about them threatening to jail anybody who reveals information about these kids. So you're saying these stories are incorrect?

You can't reveal personal information on minors, obviously, but yes those stories are mostly bullshit.

Your names don't check out, and your credibility is dwindling.

'Brown shirts' threaten medical staff with arrest if they talk about immigrants

A government-contracted security force calling itself the "Brown Shirts" have threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they say anything about contagious diseases at a refugee camp for illegal immigrants set up at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas, Todd Starnes reported at Fox News on Wednesday.

What the hell does, "my names don't check out" mean?

Bridenstine was denied access, I think Inhofe and Gov Fallin were given a tour the week prior.

They usually beg along the way, sometimes they do odd jobs. They can get free food from catholic soup kitchens and there are migrant shelters along the route.

Guile.

some think that diseased children are being brought here to enforce Agenda 21,

or that they are escaping the gang violence (in Guatemala?) where it's believed children are being forced into gangs or killed if they refuse,

or that ppl (that profit by this) are telling the parents that if they don't send there children across the border within a certain time frame it "will be too late"

whatever the reason it's dangerous (& i think stupid) to allow children to make such a dangerous trip

Good question, care to elaborate Barry???

Anybody else think this is just a circle jerk thread between Thementalrapist and IFightClouds meant to spread disinformation?

This is a pretty intensive campaign to control the narrative around these immigrant kids. Keep your eyes on it.

You're a faggot sir.

Says the guy who's just been busted with a dick in his mouf.

You know how I know I'm not a faggot, I sucked a duck once and I didn't like it.

Border Patrol Agent here dealing very closely with all this shit.

I can answer any questions

Can you answer OP's questions?

I just responded to his comment down below.

which senior official or politician gave you permission to come here and do a PR AMA piece ?

how many associates or sockpuppets do you have helping you do this AMA.

or is it normal for govt officials to suddenly get the urge to confess all on a public forum. the MSM might be interested in your answer.

Lol

  • Whats with mexico firing on american border patrol agents on our soil?

  • Why/how did the federal government know about the 60,000 kids months before this became a thing in mainstream news? Why the lag? Why did they already have some preparations?

  • Are the concerns of illness and diseases brought by these illegal alien children legit? What about the claims that this is for PR reasons, basically to fatten their "voter wallets"?

  • Where are these kids staying? And how does it make sense to use taxpayer money for this?

  • This suspiciously happens after several (failed) attempts by obama and friends to pass their immigration shit, and also after obama has unconstitutionally selected which laws he wishes to enforce, and which to ignore. In your opinion, is there an ulterior motive here?

  • in your own words, explain wtf is happening down there, and why.

  • Does this increase your concerns for your own safety and thise of your fellow agents?

  • do you favor deporting them all back? Or do you favor providing them with amnesty?

  • in your opinion, are you faithful to the oath you took when you follow orders from your superiors?

Ill try and think of some more. This is just off the top of my head...

  • Whats with mexico firing on american border patrol agents on our soil?

You'd have to ask mexico. I wish out government would.

  • Why/how did the federal government know about the 60,000 kids months before this became a thing in mainstream news? Why the lag? Why did they already have some preparations?

Everyone working in immigration expected a surge because that's what always happens when immigration reform is seriously discussed in Congress. No one expected it would be this large though.

  • Are the concerns of illness and diseases brought by these illegal alien children legit? What about the claims that this is for PR reasons, basically to fatten their "voter wallets"?

The illness concerns are mostly overblown. Many of them have scabies which is a minor skin condition that can be cleared up pretty quick. A few of them have more major diseases but everyone is medically screened.

  • Where are these kids staying? And how does it make sense to use taxpayer money for this?

They're being housed in various military bases and holding facilities around the country. It doesn't matter if it "makes sense." Every single person on US soil is constitutionally entitled to due process under the law. They must be held somewhere or released pending a court date. This is not negotiable.

  • This suspiciously happens after several (failed) attempts by obama and friends to pass their immigration shit, and also after obama has unconstitutionally selected which laws he wishes to enforce, and which to ignore. In your opinion, is there an ulterior motive here?

I don't see any positives for the Obama administration from this. This surge has guaranteed that no immigration reform will pass any time soon. I don't see why the left would plan this.

  • in your own words, explain wtf is happening down there, and why.

We're being overwhelmed. We have to many in custody to hold them until their court date so we have to release most of them and give them a day to show up in court which they'll never go to. Then they call all their friend and family in their home country and tell them they were allowed to stay in the US which just brings even more people.

  • Does this increase your concerns for your own safety and thise of your fellow agents?

Not particularly. The "surge" is mostly kids with their mom. Not really the violent type.

  • do you favor deporting them all back? Or do you favor providing them with amnesty?

I think they should be deported but I understand the reasons why they won't

  • in your opinion, are you faithful to the oath you took when you follow orders from your superiors?

100%

No one expected it would be this large though.

The solicitation for escorts for up to 65,000 UACs several months ago would indicate otherwise. I hope by "no one" you meant the individual agents out in the field. The guys at the top sure had their expectations.

This is not negotiable.

I wasnt really concerned with due process. Im more concerned with the sheer amount of resources that will be involved. Maybe you can help with my ignorance here. If someone is caught illegally entering the u.s. (say, maybe half a mile from the border) do they go to court, first? Or do they get deported immediately? I understand offering everyone due process, and how this all overwhelms the system. Butbmy main concern on this point is the amount of taxpayer assets going towards kids who dont belong here legally. The way i see it, by providing shelter and whatnot for this huge amount of people, they are also extending the duration for a solution (like deportation.) Once all the kids find their place on bases and other holding areas, some will no doubt be there for quite some time.

That money is better spent, at least imo, on making the border more secure in the first place, and to reinforce the judicial process for deportations. Treat the underlying problem rather than the symptoms. The way they are going about it makes it seem like they are supporting these kids for perpetual residence.

i dont see the positives for obama....

Well, some people woukd theorize that he is going to provide them with amnesty. Seeing obamas track record for selective enforcement of duties, i dont think thats too farfetched to ponder. For the record, i dont think that will happen, but i woukdnt be surprised. The benefit for obama there woukd be an influx of folks who would vote for him and his ideals for granting them amnesty. Then theres that whole "love me because i am a humanitarian" type of persona he likes to portray himself as.

I think they should be deported but I understand the reasons why they won't

What do you mean they wont get deported? I understand if they wont get deported immediately, but they need to be deported promptly.

Another question:

  • Are you even a little suspicious of this situation at all? Or do you view this as more of a random, one time type of thing?

I've heard reports that there are almost daily greyhound bus dropoffs in places like corpus christie, and that the crime rates have skyrocketed there (mostly break/enter/theft.) What do you know about this?

I don't know about crime rates but the drop offs are probably accurate.

Could it have something to do with that post about the Chile government openly investigated UFO sightings.

I'm looking more for what the "official" story is, google just brings back a bunch of shit I don't want to sift through.

Yeah, well, perhaps it wasn't as much an official story as just someone claiming it to. Didn't read into it that much and frankly I doubt that is the reason.

that would explain how they are coming up: ufos are taking them and are invisible from another dimension

now they are bording flights in honduras and being escorted through american airports with no searchs meanwhile we are all searched.thx obama

No they're not.

There will be approximately 65,000 UAC in total: 25% local ground transport, 25% via ICE charter and 50% via commercial air.

That was from the DHS's solicitation for escorts for the children in question. I couldnt find anything about what he claimed about no searches for the children or anything along those lines, but there does seem to be some air charters providing transportation.

This presidential memorandum might provide some more insight, but nothing that i could find that specifically talks about the logistics of this situation.

Just to be clear, im not arguing or saying you are wrong or right. I just included this info because maybe this is why he came to his conclusion (im talking about u/dodgecoinshop, btw...)

EDIT Maybe there is something in this presidential memorandum, but i didnt read it all the way through.

I'm dealing with it first hand.

Hey, would you consider doing an AMA? Could be risky for you, but as a non-American I find this thing hard to get the details on. I also find it really fascinating, and I know I'm not alone (cue obligatory ass responding with "There are dozens of us!").

[deleted]

Lol

and if your not turning them away arresting them you are breaking the law

What?

im having fun are you

Stop being a jackass.
