Admins ban anything even related to doxxing. Thats how it is, and how it will be for the forseeable future. Like it or not, admins look out for reddit, not the user base. So anything that looks like doxxing (fake or not) is going to get banned fast. Because bad press is bad.

That is pretty messed up, but I've seen admins go as far as banning entire subs to stop doxxing. Was any personal info posted there? Because that will be their scape goat.

The reddit admins are doing this and I think they're right.

The issue is that it is a personal witch hunt against the woman over a sexual indiscretion. Reddit has a longstanding rule against witchhunts and doxing, and they're following this rule, as the /r/games mod says here.

If it can be proved that Quinn censored youtube commentary about her through illicit copyright strikes, that's a serious matter. It should be investigated and reported on. But speculation about her personal life, where she lives, etc falls under the realm of violating longstanding reddit rules.
