His check in name was random letters and numbers and he us a confirmed government employee with homeland security. My fiance says he has been acting very shady and he was on the phone talking about a possible outbreak of Ebola in NYC. He said, "That's my department. I knew it would happen there." Then he was talking to her and her coworker saying he came from Dallas and was there before the time of the outbreak until just now and "You don't want to know why" when he was asked what he was in town for. This is the weirdest part. He was grilling with a couple other government workers or whatever they were and offered my fiance and her coworker hotdogs. He came back every ten minutes asking if they ate the hotdogs, or if they enjoyed the hot dogs. Obviously, they didn't eat them, but she said they were good so he would stop bothering them. What do you guys think about this?

EDIT: Man, some of you guys are wasting time being pretentious about it. I got spooked and immediately posted this without thinking about it. Different things bring out the dipshit in all of us.

Ebola dogs for sure. Save them for evidence - don't put them in your mouths or stroke them bare handed - put them in zip lock bags and take then to the nearest police station.

Please... it would take reddit less than an hour to track you down. I can already draw a map of within 2 hours of where you live and map 10 different Hampton Inns in that radius and that was based on about 3 minutes of looking at your posting history.

If I didn't want to fuck around with any arm-chair forensics beyond that I could spend 30 minutes calling every Hampton Inn in that radius and ask if they have a grill. If they don't I just expand to all of NY spending another 30 minutes and then if they don't we know you are just making shit up.

I think you are being a little paranoid. If what you are suggesting is there is a secret outbreak of Ebola in NY and this man is a government agent who is openly talking about it while grilling up hot dogs (at a hotel?) and sharing them with all the guests in what I believe you are suggesting is a attempt to spread the virus... well I don't know what to think but it seems pretty far fetched to me.

I'm a frequent traveler and I know of some hotels (the extended week ones usually) which will have mini kitchen facilities in their room or if you are lucky a common grill for guests but I have never once seen anyone use them. It's rare to even see them.

Also the random letters/numbers thing as his check-in name? That doesn't seem suspect at all. I'm not calling you a liar but don't you think if the government was running some sophisticated operation this large they would give them fake credentials and a name like Mr. Bobby McGee before they gave him a check-in name like XJ-Niner-7-432-R?

I am pretty sure that government personnel wouldn't have the funds or the ability to stay in Hampton inn. They most likely have a corporate lodging card such as I do.

Second they wouldnt be talking in public about an outbreak. Now she probably did hear what she claims as do you but think for a moment.

Would you with that knowledge let that kind of information be overheard if in that position? It was most likely some fools inciting panic.
