Why are none of these comments visible? Even as a mod I can't see a single one - I've never seen something like this before.

Edit: Since all of the comments are visible now, I can comment on the actual OP - you guys should check out a former up and coming rapper named Capital Steez, he was only a teenager but was incredibly lyrically gifted and was working on his first full length album which he apparently finished days before dying of a pretty fucking mysterious "suicide" if I do say so myself.

He was also heavily into numerology and spirituality and alchemy and talked about these subjects a lot in his songs, as well as mentions of the corrupt elite, the Illuminati, etc.

But above all, he's just a sweet rapper.

Haha maybe, but I've never seen anything like this before. Even if a user is shadowbanned or if an admin deletes a comment we as mods can still see the comments - in this case there's just nothing there, a totally blank page.

I know, really strange - my first thought is this is a new form of reddit censorship being tested out but that's just complete speculation.

No apparently reddit is experiencing periodic server issues today so I think there may just be a lag between comments being made and appearing. I'll try to keep my eye on it though - it seems like a piss poor way to censor comments though if you think about it, I mean we've already noticed within the first half hour of it happening.

True, it caused it's own controversy thread within minutes too, server issues sounds most likely. It rather fucked the thread up though as most of the comments are about the lack of comments. Commentception :)

That's my first thought as well, I don't know what else could explain it. If you go to my account page and look at the comment I just posted in this thread you'll notice it's invisible as well in the same way. Hmm...
