I will say though I don't think we are fucked anymore... At least in the long term. Times are a changing. We may have hit a long rough patch but they won't win in the end. I don't feel good about being a debt slave but I feel good about the future (even if its not in my lifetime). So for now I can just work on divesting from the system and becoming more self sufficient.

I think it was Jim Marrs I heard say we are lucky to have a corporatocracy rather than a dictatorship. At least we can fuck with the bottom line.

We need to take them down with the power of the people. Hit them in their pockets and boycott. Stage protests similar to occupy, in that it brings together the majority of people. A post on here a few months ago said we needs 3.5% of the population to protest in order to gain traction over the government. That is 80 million US citizens that needs to come out at once. That will not be accomplished until we stop segregating ourselves into special interest groups and realize we are all human beings and should stand on a level playing field. We need to take over the government, as the people, and create a government that actually stands for the people. We started out at a republic and its only gotten worse. The government should be in the hands of the people, isn't that what our forefathers said?

Remember: the current young generation is huge. None of the people who signed the Declaration of Independence were over 30 years old. The youth need to come together to work out a new government, it's not totally unheard of. The people who came up with our nation in the first place were young.
