The TPP

So bizarre to me that people will look at something like the TPP (why is a trade agreement even secret to begin with by the way?), but still think people that think there are concerted/planned efforts by the elites to control the world are tinfoil hat wearing "conspiracy theorists." Get it through your thick skulls - wherever people are meeting and planning in secret it is by definition conspiring.

These secretive powerful groups exist. They are planning and coordinating so that things go their way. They know you won't like there plans, that's why they keep them secret, and hire expensive PR firms - those are just facts.

What a huge coincidence that there is also a stigma against speculating about what they are up to (i.e., "conspiracy theorizing").

Human flaw.

I think you know why... great post by the way.

The TPP is just breaking into the mainstream but it's been around for some time. You'll start seeing it roll out into the public conciousness and then you'll notice that the debate that's occurring will surround issues that distract from the issues these corporations really want passed. Those will likely worded in such a way that most people won't understand their impact until after the thing takes effect. Not to mention that the massive media conglomerations will likely benefit from it's implementation so you're likely to get a very selective and artificial discussion on the issue....anything but the truth.

Ordinary people are so dumb. Call me whatever, but I don't know of a better way to put it.

More internationalization of businesses for more short-term profits, aka even more jobs going to India and China. The "Giant sucking sound" is about to get louder. TPP is by businesses, for businesses.

I see the TPP as a variation of the Cloward Piven strategy with corporations in the role of welfare recipients.

But maybe that's just me. I might be a bit paranoid.
