Besides it course, the top post in /r/news?

you linked to a deleted post, which doesn't show up on /r/news
That's my point

It's not deleted. I found it at the top of /r/news minutes ago.
Unless it just got deleted and reddit is fun hasn't updates yet?
Edit: it was, my mobile app didn't update the delete, however it was confirmed after a quick power off/on.
Mea culpa.

close out the app and open again, it's not there

Just wanted to confirm - powered the mobile on/off and it was gone.
Apologies for the call out - as I was working on incorrect intelligence.
Good to know I guess for mobile users out there. I wonder when the deleted take effect if I keep the app open all day?
Edited comment above.

I was wrong too actually found one of the articles in /r/news still existing but it's got many fewer upvotes and isn't on the front page, if they left the one with a few thousand it would still be front paged this morning

Well, that's interesting for all mobile users out there I guess.
Hmmm.

It's there as of right now (12:04PM, EST, Wednesday) but only if you're signed into reddit. When I signed out the post disappeared.
I think most people who browse reddit are not signed in, so as far as they're concerned, the link has been removed from r/news.

It's on the next page... 10,700+ points...
Not sure why this would be ranked above it and found sooner on reddit... but yes.. click next and boom it's somewhere there.

They delete duplicate stories, don't they?
6 OneOfDozens 2015-04-08
Would be fine if they left the top one, but they deleted them all.
Was wrong! found one of them, but less than 600 upvotes, pretty sure the main one had a few thousand
