Hey reddit, 'Film the Police'

I've received a lot of online hate ( in the major subs ) for spreading this message.
I believe that means we should make a new catch phrase to spread far and wide:
Film the Police!

We need to get out there at 3-6pm on weekdays to film people coming in and out of DEA/ATF/FBI/CIA/NSA parking lots. Post names/photos and license plates. For journalism. :)
People will imitate us once they see it done successfully.

What about drones? Buy a quadrocopter with a camera, then follow someone.

But then I'll miss the satisfaction of making eye contact with someone and seeing the expression on their face when they realize that their collaboration with the DEA will be posted on Youtube for eternity. Mmmm guilty conscience!

Pls no.
Advocating real life stalking can get this sub banned.
For example: The daycare thingo that happened a wee while ago.

Journalism isn't stalking. No one is suggesting we harm or harass anyone. Simply making a note of their public appearances, exactly the way they do to us. No expectation of privacy in public.

Tell that to the Reddit admins after members from this sub started taking photos of the kiddy daycare centre.

Fear mongering aside, journalism is worth more than a subscription to a silly website. Let them censor videos like that, it will only have a Barbara Streisand effect and increase the public's awareness of it.
Your "obedience to authority" argument probably isn't as convincing as you think it is. :)

How is it fear mongering if it's a real concern?
The mods of this sub had to come down on the daycare threads to keep this sub alive.

It's only a "real" concern to people who care more about Reddit than they do about actual journalism. No mods or admins have even said anything to me, just you. We've already seen videos in front of the DEA anyway, just not ones long enough to capture the entire office staff leaving for the day.
Do you think there might be a difference between a daycare and an office building full of gun-wielding gangsters?

Upload some pics/info from the daycare and you'll get some attention.
I doubt the average employee at the DEA/ATF/FBI/CIA/NSA is a gun wielding gangsta.
You're going to be getting a lot of low-level people in your crosshairs.

As I said, there have already been videos featuring people coming and going from DEA parking lots. They're still up, haven't been censored.
They probably aren't children at a daycare either.
Who cares? They're collaborators getting busted in public. Serves them right. Have you forgotten that one of the main reasons people are so pissed off is that the government has ALL of us in its crosshairs? Screw them.

Taking pictures of public servants in public domain isnt stalking. Its taking pictures.
