Does anyone know why they would want to take over Texas?

All these rumors are just like in high school where everyone gets a kick out of being scared.

Like the Ukraine situation, pix or it didn't happen. Anybody -- from John Kerry to your sister -- can make claims of tanks, soldiers and military weaponry appearing to presumably oppress, but it's only words until we see the proof.

If the government was planning on having their military murder a bunch of their civilians I really don't think they'd be putting them in body bags and coffins. They would be putting them in burn piles. What do people think is going on? The military is going to kill everyone in TX and then have proper burial services for them?

Some people think Jade Helm is them getting in position for something that's going to happen, and which they will have to keep order and clean up after. No way of knowing whether natural or man-made.

Why do people think that though? The military has always had training exercises in the US. You can actually watch them training as long as you aren't in their way. Is there anything that makes this particular series of exercises more nefarious than their training exercises over the last couple of decades?

This time it's clearer than ever that we are the enemy they are practicing to fight.

But people have said that during every training exercise... This is just the first time that it is getting mainstream attention because it is happening during an election season so politicians are trying to win votes based on how they respond to citizens complaining about it.

To be fair, its an operation that is taking place over a large area, but honestly its not that many soldiers involved. I think the report said something like 1,200 in Texas. I seriously doubt that anyone is going to even see these soldiers during the training.

But they have done this for decades. They always train off base in America.. they are just typically away from populated areas. I remember in 2012, US and Russian Soldiers were training in the US and everyone got crazy about that too because they thought we were somehow teaming up with the Russians to attack Americans because it would be easier for Russian soldiers to pull the trigger on American civilians than it would be for American soldiers... naturally no civilians were killed by anybody and the training came and passed without any incident but still the InfoWars and other like-minded alternative news sources reported about those exercises as if it was the beginning of the end for America as we know it. It's just hysteria pumped up by people like Alex Jones becuase the more he hypes up something like this, the more people will tune into his broadcasts and the more money they'll spend on his shitty survival food.

It isn't really a change. The majority of their training is still away from populated areas. People are just seeking the training out now. If the government was going to use the military to take over Texas don't you think they would do it secretly instead of announcing that they are having training and releasing where it is going to happen and when? Wouldn't it be much easier if they waited until like 3am one night without ever saying anything and had a bunch of helicopters full of soldiers descend on major cities while everyone was sleeping? They are training in desert areas of TX California and Utah because that is similar terrain to the Middle East.

Again, wouldn't it be best done without the whole "hey everybody.. here is where we are going to be and when so come on out with your cameras and watch us train" announcement? Now that everybody over there is whipped into a frenzy because they think that they are being taken over by the government if something does happen people will call it a false flag no matter what. Even if some civilian really does start some shit because they think they are defending their homeland against a tyrannical government it will be called a false flag. People create these narratives in their heads before anything even happens so no matter what the government can be blamed.

Also a possibility of course. I feel somewhat confident about the Isis from Mexico thing, especially when you consider the draw Mohammad shooting in Dallas recently. I imagine there will be a spate of these that will "require" a response.

So far everything I've seen about Jade Helm is just average events blown way out of proportion. If you put anything under a microscope and dissect unrelated events using that lens, you can make it out to be whatever your mind wants it to be. However, that doesn't mean I'm m writing it off altogether. I will keep up to date on events, but with an open mind to both sides of the story. This whole body bag thing just seems fake to me. If you make these claims, please provide some form of undeniable proof to back them up.

What is average about the FBI working with military to practice combat situations while attempting to blend in to the citizenry? Find me another operation in the last 20 years that is even close to this design, and I might start believing it's "average"

Why would they waste their time with coffins then? You could throw hundreds of bodies on top of a each other into a giant trench. If you use coffins you need much more room and can't fit as many bodies stacked on top of each other. It doesn't make sense.

I haven't seen coffins and body bags. I'd have to see what people are talking about first. I know in the past I have seen people post videos of "coffins" at "FEMA camps" and they were missile crates so who knows what is really being seen.

There's at least 3 large posts already in Texas. I think if they wanted to go with the Marshall law idea, they'd just use what they already have there instead of bringing in a bunch of new troops and equipment for everyone to see.

Oh I was talking about Marshall law. It's where my buddy Marshall decides to be a kill joy and enforce a bunch of over the top rules on a random group of people that he just feels 'meh' about. No, of course that's a straw man argument: that good spelling makes the argument. Bad spelling, on the other hand, is an indication that the argument comprised around it, will also be bad.

Typos are a form of spelling mistake that isn't such a strong indication. Homophonic substitution, as in Marshall for martial, is.

And by the way, I don't think martial needs to be capitalized.

It feels more like the intent of jade helm apart from its publicly stated aim is to distract, or to capitalize on the sense of relief people will feels when it turns out to be nothing.

My cousin recently told me that he actually saw aliens helping the military load the bodybags onto trucks that were hovering using some kind of new technology that runs of the blood of citizens who question the government.
