I just watched this right now and...am quite a bit flabbergasted. I understand there can be many different sides to every story, and there may very well be multiple sides to this one...but...wat?...what the fuck? I mean I just don't even...If what's being reported on here is accurate, then the level of abject corruption displayed here by the police department is just...it seems almost unprecedented to me. I know it's not unprecedented, unfortunately, but...this is just some really horrible shit by the "police" being done here, and...I can't say I don't wish some really bad shit upon them. That is all.

Here is the creator of the video. He said he waited 3 years to release it because of fear his own non-profit music school would be vandalized by the police.

Jesus that just makes it all the more unimaginably fucked up. That we as a citizenry aren't literally waging civil war against this kind of corruption and are allowing this kind of shit to happen in this country and world makes me feel that we as a species almost really do deserve this kind of shit to happen to us.

I mean...what we're doing/not doing with all this rampant police corruption reminds me of the type of situation where you have a female in an abusive relationship that she should definitely get out of, but instead of getting out, her Stockholm Syndrome actually protects the abuser from anyone that might jump in to, say, beat the abuser up.

It seems we as a country should almost raise up and fight directly against this corruption, but we're not...we don't - even in the face of it blatantly happening like it seems to be happening here - and, as a result, we just sit there like a herd of scared rabbits continuously getting slowly picked off and bitten by a small group of snakes we outnumber 100 to 1.

I know civil war wouldn't necessarily solve anything in and of itself, and it could create even more problems, but our continuing to allow ourselves as a people to get trampled on like this seems...really not good.

when this was posted to videos a few days ago someone who lived in chicago said that people get robbed by the cops more than gang bangers for fucksake. come to think of it it might have been the creator of the video,i dont remember.

That's just...pretty insane. Fucking smh.

yeah its a major city, which i assume is the case in every major city.

The fact that what you just said seems true also underscores just how badly we as a citizenry need to come together and do something about it.

Not saying we currently have the togetherness necessary to do much of anything about it, but I certainly wish we did.

lots of folks have the sentiment and desire but we're all under the same idea that we are...well modern day americans, aka completely apathetic about the reaming we receive.

Yeah. And that apathy is getting us more and more and more reamed every day. It's a type of apathy greatly illustrated by the famous Martin Niemöller poem.

Sadly, just another day in Chicago.

These are not 'police' - these are pigs who should be euthanized.

Disgusting shit.

Sadly, just another day in Chicago.

I really wish you were hyperbolizing. I really don't think you are, however.

These are not 'police' - these are pigs who should be euthanized.

Would not disagree. Civilians can indeed be very criminal, and police do need to protect themselves, but this was just...wrong. Way wrong.

I can corroborate that the guy makes a lot of high quality videos and runs a music studio in which he makes more high quality videos.

This guy basically carries his camera everywhere with him, recording anything he sees happening that might be interesting.

sadly , the army and military, navy, marines , the generals especially. are hundreds of times worse than this, they claim it is only murder if emotions are involved, so they focus on training that is instinctual rather than moral. and I'm not saying there aren't many good men and woman in there, but most do not get promoted unless easily controlled or have proven themselves before. the police are no longer a separate part of the military sadly and is the reason black sites like the one in chicago are plentiful not only in the us. it is a one world brutality. my suggestion is learn to fight, and to smile when you have a gun in your face. you didnt ask to be on this earth and you won't be asked when you'd like to leave it.

This on one level would most definitely seem true. However, I've come across various rumblings on various occasions where military personnel say that they would defend the civilians if things came down to some sort of state crackdown on the people.

it is a one world brutality.

Certainly seems that way. Yes.

my suggestion is learn to fight, and to smile when you have a gun in your face.

Not the worst suggestion. I've followed both of those, for my part.

you didnt ask to be on this earth

It would seem that the physical, Earthly vehicle certainly didn't anyway. The intelligent energy that animates that vehicle, however, might have had some say in it perhaps.

and you won't be asked when you'd like to leave it.

Not on the third dimensional plane anyway. Other realms might have some idea.

lol it's hilarious that this is news to you.

People always say "rappers" or "gang members" are garbage, but the police are a gang.

Chicago has plenty of rappers that will tell you all about the police in there. Chief Keef, one of the most prolific artists pointed a gun in a police officer's face as a juvenile.

The crime rate is higher than many countries involved in Civil War (Honduras for example)

Like the guy says at the end of the video, it's just another day in Chiraq.

lol it's hilarious that this is news to you.

First of all, why is it "hilarious"? What's "hilarious" about it? Secondly, it's not "news" to me that corruption exists in this country, and that you think the only reason I would react like this is because it's "news" to me is...well, plainly wrong.

Like the guy says at the end of the video, it's just another day in Chiraq.

And this makes nothing I said any less tragic or despicable.

funny how chicago and baltimore have some of the strictest gun laws in the nation, and yet still continue to have the most murders and violent crames in the nation. that just goes to show how much gun control works. "gun control" isnt about guns, its about control. and if the only people allowed to have guns are the corrupt police, things will get VERY bad.

this is why i have no respect for cops. thugs with badges and guns. this reminds me of the cops who raided a marijuana dispensary, and proceeded to eat marijuana edibles while they were on camera, also making fun of handicapped people.

watching this made me fucking sick, dumb fucks are too stupid to remove all the cameras

this is why i have no respect for cops. thugs with badges and guns.

I can understand this perspective, and it is most definitely unfortunate. I tend to have respect for everyone, and judge each situation on an individual basis, but am definitely at least very wary of the police.

Bad, bad place and time this feels like to me.

And now I need some eye-bleach.

We shouldn't bleach our eyes. Our eyes should actually remain darkened by images like these so that we don't just "shut off" to all the very real problems existing in this country and world; so that we are constantly reminded of how corrupt things are where we live; so that we don't give TPTB exactly what they want by allowing ourselves to become (or remain) willfully blind and ignorant to those things we need to come together as one people and fight against.
