[not a conspiracy] What types of music do you all like listening to? What's your go to artist/band/etc?

Just trying to lighten the mood of this sub, and talk as a community. Because, we def are. I really enjoy Tom Petty. What about ya'll?
Edit: if there is any Illuminati reference to Tom Petty, you will ruin my life. lol. But, seriously, lemme in if there is.
Edit 2: Heavy downvotes, yikes, some people do not want us talking as a community, because then, you know we can unite. Music is like breaking the ice. Me thinks, some people do not want us establishing common ground....

Interpol is good, and ahhh, the misfits, fucking love em. What do you think about Danzig?

I'm not into rap, but that song will probably convince some people to wake up.
Neil Young- Ohio
A Perfect Circle- Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums
Muse- MKULTRA
Muse- Exo-Politics

I'm not into rap either, but this was a good tune and he surely speaks the truth. It'll wake the MS people up.
A classic!
Is more on the lines of my music taste, kinda schizophrenic with my music taste. What do you think of this song:

Long time fan of Incubus.
Check out Sturgill Simpson
I hate country, but if you read the lyrics of that song....

I usually do not like country either, but there is so much truth in that. You should research the turtle. I do not want to get into an argument about flat earth, but the turtle aspect made me comment like this. Research it. Eery. I enjoyed the song, and I've been welcoming in country more and more since I've moved. I'm just not down for the ultra patriotic and religious aspects of it... For what it's worth... The turtle is also shocked in the Economist front cover, dammit, here comes the conspiracy theorist out of me. I'm sorry.

I enjoy listening to EDM. (Alesso, Avicii, Sebastian Ingrosso, Hardwell...)

Not a huge fan of rap, but I did enjoy this (I like rap that is meaningful not about "make money fuck bitches", I like Immortal Tech). Thanks for the artist link, will definitely check them out more.

I can dig that, if you are being serious. I like foreign house/electro/techno. If you are not, I respond to you with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQAKRw6mToA

Not sure if the off-topic will blow over well but:
Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, Bjork and Tool are always my go-to's.

Meh, rules are blurred all the time. We are a community and we need to start acting like that (together we are strong, and music is an ice breaker. They do not want that, let's change that.) I see us as more than just conspiracy theorists, we are a community. I love Radiohead, never heard of Grizzly Bear (will check em out), Bjork is classic, and Tool, well they are who they are (I like their music). I'm not a troll, so I see no rule breaking.

I've always loved the band Ash and their A-Z Series.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2015-07-17
Ash? Is this one of their songs? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW8mEMqiNhc. Tried looking it up on youtube. Want to know if I have the right one.
1 andrewmccarthyism 2015-07-17
Yes it is! That's a late 90s, early 2000s song.

Thanks! Was this the same time as Blink 182 or New Found Glory? I was young at the time, for the record NFG > B182, hehe :).
Edit: shit, your link reminds of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45TEYZp213E

Yeah the Burn Baby Burn song is. Ash has been around since 1994ish They just had another album released in 2015 too. Solid alt rock through and through.
And I agree NFG> B182
Catalyst FTW.

Rage Against The Machine and KMFDM. Both have pretty anti-NWO tones in their lyrics.

Long time lurker,
Check out the album 'The New Normal' by Aussie band Cog.
Both lyrically and musically a masterpiece in its entirety, definitely one of my all time favourites.
Bit harder to find, but the self titled album by Full Scale (or the black/white arrow EPs) are also worth a listen.
Hope you enjoy!

Glad you came out from the shadows. I'm searching youtube :). Thanks!

Frank Black and the Catholics. This is the band Charles Thompson---Black Francis of the Pixies---put together during the Pixies downtime. They recorded everything live to two-track, no overdubs. They were a full-tilt hardcore working man's bar band.

Jefferson Airline's Surrealistic Pillow or Crown of Creation for a great album fix! Some Massive Attack or Pink Floyd if I want to zone out and some strange recordings of Willliam Burroughs over cut up track tapes if I'm pretending to be cool.
