Flat Earth Theory and Timezones...

I've been having fun with this new conspiracy, and there are many salient points. But how do we get by the timezones argument? If earth is a plate, and not a globe, the earth wouldn't have as many timezones.

Just to throw this out there but that is not an image of the earth....That is a rendered image from multiple images.

It's not really controversial. We have a very few people that keep pushing and flooding our sub with it to make it seem controversial. The only thing controversial about it is whether it's being done by trolls or if there are people that actually believe it. Personally, I think this sub is being trolled.
Most subscribers here are probably sick of it and downvote any post that even brings it up, pro or con.

A number of people in this sub have settled on the theory that the entire topic of questioning the shape of the earth exists to discredit conspiracy theorists in general: "see, they will believe anything, idiots!"
I admit that on the surface this is plausible, but I think dismissing it that way is the wrong approach when there are the actual arguments being made to examine instead.
