Is that the sub-message of modern patriotism?: there's only so much wealth in the world, let's make sure other countries' wealth is flowing into ours and not vice versa. They'd like you to think the exploitation is in our good, but then they're just as exploitative at home. Or will be when they finish abolishing regulation...
