Let's see. Russians have deployed fighter jets and anti aircraft missiles to Syria. Pope is about to address US Congress for the first time in history. Multiple Middle Eastern countries are in chaos because of various wars. Huge refugee crisis as hundreds of thousands seek safe haven in Europe.

All this and who knows how much more going on behind the scenes. Yet you say "nothing's happened".

Nothing really, it's ok to be curious, and being prepared for any situation is benefitial anyway. It's best, however, not to dwell on the negativity and the possibility of an event (because we don't really have any control over it), and just focus on the present time.

That said, there're still 22 days left till the end of September, financial markets are highly volatile, the debt-driven economy has no future, and it doesn't matter if it goes to shit this month or next decade, it will, eventually :/

There're a few days left till the end of September. Pope is coming to Washington DC this week, UN is having a UN General Assembly meeting in NYC, Russia has recently moved large amounts of military equipment to Syria, there's a refugee crisis in Europe.

It's quite adamant that the world is the most unstable it has been since the Iron Courtain fell, possibly even since the end of WWII. If it's not today, it's going to be some other date, but it's painfully obvious that shit will hit the fan sooner than later.

Let's hope so :)

I always try to have a healthy approach to the doomsday scenarios. We know how the cold war panned out, nothing really serious happened. These days though it just seems that things have taken a turn for the worse. Europe is seeing a major conflict at it's borders (Ukraine) and an influx of questionable immigrants (many witnesses claim that most of the refugees have nothing to do with Syria).

Of course it might be argued that Europe has seen far worse in the 90's (The Balkan War), but this time Russia is involved, same with Syria.

Many events should worry you, but there's nothing for me left to do other than envy you your peace of mind and your confidence in the status quo.

What was to happen? I guess I missed something. And people never learn just look at nut bag christens or Cops. Rot is never far behind and a lot of people still think their the good guy.
