I used to talk to a girl through skype from Bahrain. She spoke of her father being in some kind of danger due to some politics. I forget it all but her family wasn't really 'safe' but pretty well off. That's the extent of that
Mos deff man... This should be everyone's go to example when others say that US foreign policy is about bringing "democracy".
Its about that only when the country we invade doesn't support us, but USA friendly dictatorships/kingdom's like saudi and bahrain are examples of US supporting whoever as long as theyre strategically beneficial.

I lived there for close to three years in middle school. My dad was stationed there. I lived there during 9/11.

Basically, the usa supports their dictatorshipI primarily because they let have a naval base across from Iran
