Will all join the /r/conspiracy team and help move the page forward. They are all familiar names to many of you and the current team feel that they can all play their part in with helping the management of the page.
Many thanks to everyone who showed an interest in moderating and for keeping the post a positive one.
Welcome aboard to the new mods.

Just let the shills mod already, torpedo the sinking ship and see who the fuck knows how to swim. Just my opinion.
1 sloth_on_meth 2016-01-06
Lmao
1 ItsAJackOff 2016-01-06
Could you expand on that? Lol love how i'm getting downvotes, apparently a lot of people here are poor swimmers which is odd for a forum on the intellectual deep end of things.
1 [deleted] 2016-01-06
the sub seems to be afloat for now
1 Juan__Lennon 2016-01-06
Again, LOL.
1 Juan__Lennon 2016-01-06
Already...? LOL!
1 ronintetsuro 2016-01-06
In before an account no one has ever heard of gets a massive amount of unsolicited votes to become mod, and then fucks the sub right up the poopchute in the first 8 months.
Story old as time around here.
1 wantsneeds 2016-01-06
wat do?
1 ItsAJackOff 2016-01-06
Lol like that already isn't happening and has been happening for awhile. Hopefully it's somebody that gives a damn, but knows how not to seem like a whiner. Sometimes r/conspiracy mods seem to interject themselves over petty shit when that looks weak to me. But I don't make the decisions, apparently our brigaded voting system might? I hope not, hopefully they quietly discuss the candidates and then choose.
1 ronintetsuro 2016-01-06
I'm almost positive I closed with
1 ItsAJackOff 2016-01-06
Are you HIV positive you said it? Cause if you wanna be all HIV negative thats cool too....
Sorry for overlooking that. I agree with you though, not that newer members should be auto-excluded, because shills don't have just one account, they buy them in bulk. All you can do is choose the best from what you know and if shit don't work out, fix it.
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
This was solved in the past by having the requirement that one moderator on the team vouch for a given applicant.
1 ronintetsuro 2016-01-06
Sounds like a solid requirement to include in the process.
1 disposable182 2016-01-06
What's stopping them from nominating an alt-account?
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
It would be really obvious; each moderator has a pretty unique personality and set of personal interests. The other mods would catch on pretty quickly if two accounts were always supporting each other and trust me, we watch.
1 disposable182 2016-01-06
Hmm... I think a particularly manipulative person with an agenda would be able to fool anyone. But I'm glad you guys are always on the watch.
1 getityetquestionmark 2016-01-06
Yeah, but ultimately someone could be like, "hey mr.dong, I got a millions bucks here says you'll gimme your account name."
Ya know, just saying. Highly unlikely.... buuuutttt....
1 Haven 2016-01-06
I prefer the current process. Let the people decide, without any mod involvement.
1 totorox 2016-01-06
it's a vote? looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool losers
1 Golisten2LennyWhite 2016-01-06
I have been around here for a while..
Oooh controversial!
1 plato_thyself 2016-01-06
I am interested but curious about the time commitment, how intensive is it on a daily basis?
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Depends where you are based. The US isnt badly covered at the mo but there is room for improvement. It shouldn't be intensive either, moderation is a team game really with different people covering different times.
Your account is in good standing BTW
1 plato_thyself 2016-01-06
Thanks, I'll throw my name into the ring. North America based though. I'm a mod over at /r/NoCorporations so have some experience. Edit: Mountain time zone.
1 timo1200 2016-01-06
I like the shit you post.

Thanks ridestraight!
1 idahoangler 2016-01-06
Hey mr_dong is my account in good standing?
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Not enough Karma dude
1 idahoangler 2016-01-06
Oh I know that. I was just wondering if each account has a threat level or something like it! Like does mine say good, bad, or ugly lol
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
I love that film.
1 idahoangler 2016-01-06
Dam bro, so you can tell that guy how his account is but no one else. Hhmmmmm mister dong it makes me wonder about you mods
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Anyone can check an account. It was asked that a user had a minimum of 1000 Karma and be at least a year old if applying. /u/idahoangler account didn't meet that level but he/she was good about it.
1 idahoangler 2016-01-06
You restored my faith good sir! Have an upvote

1 ManipulativeOrg 2016-01-06
I would be both willing and interested. I am not located in North America though do travel there at times. I misread the 1000 positive karma as 100 and got excited so I am now only continuing this post due to the fact I already started typing and would feel silly if I stopped. I have made use of css but would not call myself an expert. If I can be of any use (I have way too much free time and spend far too much of it fascinated with the wild, wacky, wonderful world of conspiracy theory and fact.) let me know! Otherwise, nice to meet all of you and I hope to see this sub grow ... or at least not die off.
1 douchebag_investor 2016-01-06
Nice try, covert mossad agent.
1 ManipulativeOrg 2016-01-06
SHH YO
1 Jag_Slave 2016-01-06
Interested. I have a full time job already, but curious what kind of time commitment is involved..
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Time commitment isnt really what we are looking for. We need users in specific areas or of specific skill sets. By all means throw your hat into the ring.
1 Jag_Slave 2016-01-06
Hat tossed in. I am a part time writer (working on my first novel) and graphic (print) designer if either of those things help. In the midwest. I am interested in all things conspiracy, but mainly anything concerning environment, social problems, and I love the hell out of a good UFO info leak.
1 Rotundus_Maximus 2016-01-06
How can I apply?
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
You cannot at this time Maximus. Your account is less than a year old.
1 Rotundus_Maximus 2016-01-06
Oh shoot, sorry.
1 ____DocHopper____ 2016-01-06
As always when these posts come about, I would like to remind everyone that I am the People's moderator, and would gladly accept the duty. As most of you are aware, I already positively represent and promote this subreddit across all of Reddit, and defend it wholeheartedly. You all know that I am already constantly on this subreddit anyway.
For anyone not familiar with me, you can read my past histories over in /r/DocHopper, just check the mod list for authenticity.
1 ItsAJackOff 2016-01-06
Saved and upvoted to learn the legend of DocHopper.... although I have no power, I will report back on my findings!
1 untumulted 2016-01-06
I can't read. So i'm in.
1 ItsAJackOff 2016-01-06
How do you know what you're typing then?
1 untumulted 2016-01-06
I did not have sexual relations with those women.

We have our winner!

I hereby transfer my modhoodishness to u/FortHouston's sock.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
I want to see photos.
1 untumulted 2016-01-06
Happy to serve.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
Interesting. I was expecting photos of naked monkeys and fish.
1 untumulted 2016-01-06
Nah.
1 AntiHasbaraUnit 2016-01-06
Id like to nominate u/Indra-Varuna
1 Kaspanova 2016-01-06
I can apply being in the UK, im open to all manner of conspiracies.
But if this is down to a public vote, it probably wont be me, because of my first statement ;D
1 lucycohen 2016-01-06
I doubt you'll go voted in due to your 'Flat Earth' beliefs
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
If that's true, then good.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
I'd like to nominate /u/DronePuppet. Hey that's me!
Lots of CSS, Audio Podcasting, video production, a photographer and a drone pilot.
I've been banned, unbanned, rebanned, rebuilt new accounts, yelled at and called silly names!
Residing in San Diego (PST) and do a lot of traveling.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Out of curiosity can you give us any links to your css work?

1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
The tennis club video scared me
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
Why? I shot that with a drone.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Probably why it scared me haha. What are you gonna do next with your drone, film me in my bath towel?!
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
If that excites you, it can be done. But there are better tools to film that if you want that HD bath towel experience. DJI Osmo.
Here are some of my other videos. https://vimeo.com/dronemedia/videos
1 WeAreTheResistance 2016-01-06
What kind of drone do you use? I am using the DJI Inspire right now, and love it!
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
How use the Inspire and Inspire Pro plus I have the Phantom II.
1 WeAreTheResistance 2016-01-06
You've got some great videos. I love the monk on the windmill. I can't imagine what you were thinking when you first took it up and saw a body up there, lol. Great work.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
Thanks. That video went global.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
Yeah with that I had no idea anyone was on top and he was surprised to see the drone as well. That was a fun day!
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
Good user, long time friend of the subreddit, and well versed in most of the reddit meta nonsense.
I'd support him in a heartbeat.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
Thanks dude!
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
Supported.
1 LordPubes 2016-01-06
Another rightwinger as a mod? No thanks.
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
What? I'm a TopWinger!
1 WeAreTheResistance 2016-01-06
I would definitely support /u/DronePuppet for the mod spot.
1 smokinbluebear 2016-01-06
I would be interested. I did some work to help bring the Sibel Edmonds AMA to the sub last fall. The AMA was a bit last-minute, but she wanted to get her message out on The Hastert Scandal. In the end, I thought it went very well--Sibel Edmonds got her message out and our sub got a surprise AMA.
I also created and mod r/TSBD (which is just a reference area, but does have 300 subscribers)
Edit: Central Time Zone, U.S.
EDIT 2: Awesome--thanks to everyone who supported me--I will definitely do my best to help get us some more AMAs..Congrats to the other new mods as well...
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
You have my vote already. Good luck.
1 smokinbluebear 2016-01-06
Thanks--hopefully we can get some more AMAs in 2016. I would love to see at least one AMA every month and would be willing to help...
I'm in the U.S. by the way.
1 bgny 2016-01-06
I've tried contacting various people about doing an AMA, but have not received one reply. I'm not sure if it's because the sub has a image problem or something else.
1 bgny 2016-01-06
Who is downvoting every comment in this post?
1 BurninEpix 2016-01-06
One of the many a hater I'm sure.
Eh, being this is 2016 and all, it could be one of the many in the army of bots that's going to grow till there is a 1:1 with users before we any of us realize it's happened. Then it will surpass it. And in a few years time, only people like us here will realize that now the entire internet is nothing but the greatest propaganda machine in history while the rest of the idiots continue to believe the false narrative they imagine their way through every day.
But oh wait, if we're all still lucky enough to be alive to have grandkids, we can tell them how WE were on the first website/place/whatever that allowed early AI to be trained with really life Guinea pigs in the art of manipulating the human narrative. This work being done here and in other online portals will with other factors evolve into real life AI. Or should I say with AI having the ability to interface with humans in a way that convinces us. AI will surpass us for no other reason in that it can evolve in ways, go places, and do things we will never be able to. The weakness that our type of life form suffers from is length of time to evolve. That will be the problem when face to face with an AI that is equal to our intelligence and ability.
Anyone who has not accepted that once we cross a certain threshold with AI that their will be no going back...read and learn about the world my friends. When AI can do all that we can in every way without our assistance, how do we now tell them "well hey now guys your not alive, you can't take control of the earth like we have over all other beings of this planet! Only we humans have that right!" Something to think about!
I don't know. I always try to look at the bright side...least it will be a good story if anyone is alive or free enough to tell it.
1 smokinbluebear 2016-01-06
Hard to believe, but a lot of people haven't been on reddit...Most people only have a certain amount of time and often spend it on facebook, twitter, instagram, etc...Marketers know reddit is a good place to create a buzz, but this sub is more about spreading Truth and becoming aware of theories. Hopefully, this sub will continue to grow and we can attract more authors/journalists, etc...
1 untumulted 2016-01-06
Got my vote.
1 smokinbluebear 2016-01-06
Thank You...
1 George_Tenet 2016-01-06

1 smokinbluebear 2016-01-06
thanks, GT.
1 Flytape 2016-01-06
Also thanks for helping me manage the surprise Sibel Edmonds AMA.
1 smokinbluebear 2016-01-06
No problem--thanks for helping get it up and running...
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
You did excellent work on Sibel's AMA and I believe you'd make a wonderful mod.

You're welcome, I think you'd be a good mod.
Me now.

some of us collect photos of Putin with cats, some of us collect thousands of washboard jazz tracks...
1 Dude_wtf_seriously 2016-01-06
I was gonna nominate you but I saw youre just 8 months in. Maybe theyll make an exception considering yourr level of activity?
1 Putin_loves_cats 2016-01-06
Thanks. I've been here for far longer than this account. I change it up (thanks NSA). I like this account and you know what, fuck the NSA! I feel I'd be a fair mod and would love to throw my hat in, but I guess rules are rules. I mod on a sub with mods here, but my "account" is too young.... /u/Flytape am I eligible, also, /u/mr_dong, I mod the same inside sub you do, contribute when you are all asleep and also am a web dev who knows CSS..
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Well it would be useful to see some examples of your css work. Even though your account is under a year old there is possibility that you could help us with css only.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
I approve of this user in so, so many ways.
1 ShylockHolmes 2016-01-06
I'll be happy to help out.
1 sloth_on_meth 2016-01-06
Hey! Dutch redditor here.
Spend 3 hours a day on a train, redditing. I mod /r/Nexus5 and /r/Nexus5X. (N5 has 30K subs)
I would love to help you guys out. Im pretty experienced with automod and keeping it professional and formal with users when needed.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Can you give some detail please Dutch master?
1 sloth_on_meth 2016-01-06
I know my way around automoderator (set up all the automatic flairing and hotword lists for flairs in Nexus5), and am pretty good at trial and error. (In a seperate testing sub of course)
I dont see modding as a job, but when my green M comes on i speak as if i were a representative for a company. I dont like fights, not over the internet or IRL, and always try to solve things well. When things become personal (i.e. a user disagreeing with my ways) i always ask the other mods for input.
By the way, im a techie in general. I dont know CSS (but could start learning it, i do better when i have a goal to do so).
1 sloth_on_meth 2016-01-06
Enough detail for now? :D
1 myndzha 2016-01-06
Hey, curious on how much time a day does modding consume? Approximately.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
How long is a piece of string and at times it's more a question of how much string have you got to spare. Difficult question and time is not what we are necessarily looking for here.
Does it really exist, this destroyer time?
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
Modding this subreddit is something that tends to require daily vigilance in order to keep track of the varying personalities on the sub, and how they interact; which means it tends to be a bit time intensive as you get the feel for how the place tends to run, but it becomes easier over time.
The new queue averages 3-10 posts per minute throughout the day, and the modqueue usually will have 75-100 items over 24 hours (these are user reported comments/submissions).
Once/twice per month there will be a controversy which requires longer attention by the mods, usually involving the admins or a situation that walks the gray line of the reddit rules. This can require a few hours per day during that time.
Overall, it's not something that can really be quantified as it can't be viewed in that manner. It's a commitment to put the community first, and be there when other's are too busy or otherwise preoccupied. You have to more than love reddit. You have to actually care about it.
1 [deleted] 2016-01-06
I'd be super uber interested. Self-taught in conspiracy like a lot of people here, and been browsing here for a while.
1 911bodysnatchers322 2016-01-06
Doh! I'm disqualified, like ted cruz
1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
Haha
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
I'd vote for you. :)
1 Denmark1976 2016-01-06
You are retarded and prone to corruption??? :-)
1 Zloggt 2016-01-06
I am looking forward to help uncover the truth, if you do want so
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
I'm not sure where my future with this subreddit will fall (and I'm not throwing my hat in the ring as my mod position is being discussed), but I want to implore users to be careful during the vetting process.
There have been users in the past who got a mod spot, and then used their influence to attempt to ban any posts which reported on censorship around reddit.
This subreddit also garners a lot of attention from groups of moderators who would love to undermine the policies of free flowing information which are viewed as "the last vesitgies of an ancient reddit". (there's a reason /u/mr_dong put /u/aaronsw on the side bar.)
The mods of this sub are intelligent and well versed in most of these tricks, but they can do little if users do not spend time vetting the candidates proposed.
This is a subreddit that serves as a vital replacement for the catch-all that was /r/reddit.com, and, in fact, when other subreddits close/have issues, this is often the first sub that most users will visit; to that end, ensuring the free flow of information is viewed as canon is paramount; and with the way that reddit moderation works (even on this sub) it is of vital importance that anyone added to the mod list will not attempt to undermine the fundamental principle of free speech which pervades throughout this subreddit.
1 lucycohen 2016-01-06
He gave the game away, so obvious
1 know_comment 2016-01-06
You on the chopping block? Why? Who is making the final decisions?
1 Skepticali 2016-01-06
I'd be willing to take on the task. I currently reside in NA and have been active on this sub for 3 years at least. I think what would set me apart from others is that I'm naturally skeptical and I don't generally jump to conclusions about particular issues. Creating an open forum that promotes free speech with order and respect for all would be on of my top priorities, next to not succumbing to outside influences.
1 curiosity36 2016-01-06
Great choice on /u/TheGhostOfDusty. I hope he remains on permanently. He's a clever duck.
1 liverpoolwin 2016-01-06
Here he's getting called out for very strange behavior last week
https://np.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/3yscsb/cia_agent_mark_zuckerberg_wants_fake_internet_for/cyheuqq
1 JUSTIN_HERGINA 2016-01-06
Is that the correct link? I don't see how he's "getting called out".
I don't think you know shit about ghostofdusty. Perhaps your motivations should be called into question.
1 liverpoolwin 2016-01-06
Yes that's the correct link, I can't help you if you don't see how he's getting called out, as that user explained the situation very well indeed. I remember at the time being shocked by the comments.
Everyone who's read my posts will know I wear my heart on my sleeve and post for the good of this world, my post history speaks for itself.
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
Come on man. You shouldn't add speculative assertion portrayed as fact into your post title just because you want it to be true. That's bad form anywhere. Sorry you got bent out of shape by my criticism.
1 liverpoolwin 2016-01-06
My approach is to try to help people who haven't got much time/interest to read articles to be able to get the info within one sentence, if I'm confident from my other research to add in some info then I do it. It's a form of journalism, it's used against all the time by our enemies, that's because it's highly effective. They'll add a smear into a heading for example. Even the word 'Terrorism' is being used as a term of propaganda.
Before posting the thread that went viral, I posted this, on the same topic, it went nowhere.
Mark Zuckerberg attacks Net-Neutrality in India
https://np.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/3ys2g0/mark_zuckerberg_attacks_netneutrality_in_india/
Most likely because people haven't got time to read through it and work out what it means. It was also being kept out of view by the usual suspects i.e. 57%. To counter the downvote censors I had to create a better title, so as their downvotes wouldn't keep it out of view.
So by adding in that Zuckerberg almost certainly has close relations with the secret services, we help people to connect the dots. If people ask for separate sources for that then they are provided.
1 subroc77 2016-01-06
Whatever you say, lucycohen.
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
He's trying to undermine me because I called out his absurdly editorialized title. Here's a proper link:
1 liverpoolwin 2016-01-06
It's all about whose team people play for when the going gets tough, we need all the help we can get here now, so if we have to think up a good title to get enough upvotes to counter the censors, we need our fellow team to back us up, not put the dagger in at such a crucial moment.

Him and u/JamesColesPardon are the most solid individuals I've had the pleasure of interacting with on here. They are both quite lovely choices for top spot. I can't pick between the two of them. Its kind of a toss up.

You aren't to shabby yourself Rando.

Bummer, seems I don't qualify for one of the requirements...
1 rabbits_dig_deep 2016-01-06
You've made a big splash in the 8 months you've been here though.

Thanks. I guess I'll just sit at the kids table until next time :(

You left out the shills. Since you're not kicking them out, I assume you want them here?
1 NutritionResearch 2016-01-06
The shills are only effective if people don't know exactly how they steer discussion and how common they are. As of right now, very few people know the full extent of the shill situation. One way to solve that problem is to spread the subreddit /r/Shills.
Maybe the mods think of banning them as approaching a "slippery slope," so they just let it be. Who knows. The best we can do is spread the information and let people figure it out from there.
1 rabbits_dig_deep 2016-01-06
One way to attack the shill problem (admitting that it can be hard to tell a shill from the merely willfully ignorant) within the parameters of the current rules, is to more vigorously enforce the rule against attacking the sub or its users. Time after time, users supporting the official story (on whatever topic) are hostile, insulting and sarcastic, while steadfastly refusing to examine the obvious contradictions in the story put forth by the mainstream media.
This sub exists to question the official narrative. The world is already awash in the views put forth by the NY Times, CNN, MSNBC, etc. We don't need more of that here, especially when delivered with over the top hostility.

1 I_Kick_Puppies_Hard 2016-01-06
Since a lot of the really good active posters can't offer their services because their accounts are inconveniently young... I will! I'm just some guy with almost no real qualifications aside from browsing the new queue and occasionally reporting some bullshit. I make very little commentary, nor do I have an agenda to push/have pushed. I mostly just read, and really bring nothing awesome to the table. Sounds great, amirite?
1 NutritionResearch 2016-01-06
There's a "Reddit Secrets" website that sells old accounts that have a lot of karma, a decent account age, etc. Even my grandmother can infiltrate this forum if the mods aren't careful.

I'm interested in helping. I'm in North America but run a nocturnal sleep schedule.

1 Haven 2016-01-06
Full transparency; I am a little biased here. I have known /u/bloodwillow for well over half my life. They woke me up, and without them, I would not be the woman I am today.
With that said, I would not state this if I did not believe it. I have been on reddit since close to it's inception, and I have seen how the site as a whole, and even more so /r/conspriacy have been manipulated and downtrodden.
Bloodwillow will bring a truth and honesty to this position that is sorely needed IMO. He researches topics in depth, and does not take what is on the surface for truth, even if, and many times when, it's a hard truth to swallow. He also comes from a place of respect for life and other humans, and does not let himself get drawn in to the downward spiral of drama.
So, that said, I think he would be a great addition to your team. AMA if you have any questions on his integrity or anything else.

I believe I can answer that for you. Yes, Haven is my wife. This account is fairly new, but I've been here for just about as long as /u/haven. My original account /u/kamicolo got shadowbanned during the whole officergofuckyourself bit.
Since you have no way to view my old account, I will provide you a link to my first post to reddit.

I disagree. I threw my hat in the ring as mod and you asked some questions. It seems reasonable that I respond to those questions, as they pertain to the subject matter of my qualifications.
By hanging onto the fact that my wife didn't word her disclosure as precisely as you would like is derailing the subject of this post.
As far as I can tell, I've been the most transparent of all those throwing their hat in the ring for mod. Wouldn't you agree?

1 DronePuppet 2016-01-06
I think it's important to understand who are active mods in the lineup. I can name a few but it seems other are just on the list that don't really moderate the sub. I know /u/flytape is the most active and glad someone is managing this sub. I think the inactive mods either need to step up or resign. It's simple math.
1 lucycohen 2016-01-06
There would be no point in resigning if they can still chip in once in a while, it would only make the problem worse
1 SuperCashBrother 2016-01-06
Please be careful not to appoint some people with an agenda to censor anything that isn't PC. I would hate to see this subreddit die out like so many before it.
1 Flytape 2016-01-06
I won't let that happen.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
Interested, as always.
Thank you again, /u/mr_dong, for the Owl flair two years ago.
I have been an active member of this community for years, have moderator experience with cultivating /r/C_S_T over the past year (where we have gone toe-to-toe with both the TMOR crew as well as admins), as well as private modmail subs.
I also have boasted at least two stickies this year on this sub (which I can dig up upon request), and have exposed the SITE Intelligence Group, ISIS propaganda, as well as the USA Freedom Act, the FCCs Open Internet Rule regarding Net Neutrality, CISA/CISPA, and the TPP.
Google searches of my username will show countless posts and referrals, and some of my content has been rehosted on other sites (without my permission, such as investmentwatch or something).
I have not been banned by any other subs and have positive standing in all defaults for awareness spreading, treat all users with respect, and have comments in the defaults with multiple guildings to boast as well.
I hope you and the community consider this application despite plenty of users here who certainly deserve recognition and consideration.
1 untumulted 2016-01-06
I was with you
and then you lost me.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
I... Got banned from /r/Europe for a bit but got reinstated.
And even /u/mr_dong banned me from here for a day, if he recalls. So,
I am not currently banned from any subs. Better?
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
So... What did you do?
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
Got caught up in some drama with some trolls (sided with them for being banned without specifically violating the subs rules).
1 IntellisaurDinoAlien 2016-01-06
I'm banned from the flat earth sub, but consider that a bonus. I'll vote for you too though.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
Ha! I never travelled there.

And please - it's Jim.

Starting around 7-8am EST?
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
That is probably what snoopsnoo/redditinvestigator says.
New job has me working 12 hour shifts - with one week being heavy (4 shifts) and another being light (2.5 shifts).
I can check in of course - but only superficial lurking typically.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Not so much committed time then as cheeky browsing?
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
Just keeping an eye on things mostly.
But there are weeks like this week where I work two days total and have multiple days off with the wife at work and the kid at school.
So it balances out.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
Well you're active now which is what we need so good luck! The new mods will probably be announced tomorrow.

Is there going to be an official subscriber vote for mod positions? Hopefully it can be carried out in a way that it can't be gamed.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
Thank you, fellow Jim.
1 DirtyBird9889 2016-01-06
I endorse JCP. First user that came to my mind.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
I appreciate it man.
1 rabbits_dig_deep 2016-01-06
I'm interested primarily because, as it stands, the shills and conspiratard crowd have over run the place. In post after post, the top comment is some variation on: "You wacko nut jobs who believe every conspiracy is true, get a life and move out of your mom's basement."
While those posting intelligent, reasoned comments showing real evidence that nobody died at Sandy Hook (for example) get heavily downvoted. The sincere /r/conspiracy users are being run out of town.
IMO, there need to be more warnings and more bannings, so good discussions can take place between genuine researchers, without ad hominem attacks from 3 day old accounts.
And all those who want to continue to trash the place will downvote this.
Edit: Exhibit A
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2016-01-06
I've been trying to get on this lately but it's a slippery slope and we need to be careful. Brand new accounts that are trolling are instantly banned in almost all cases once I/we see them though.
1 rabbits_dig_deep 2016-01-06
I've been on /r/conspiracy almost daily for 7 years (2 years under a different account) and this has gotten much, much worse lately. To the point where I participate much less than I used to. It's just not much fun anymore.
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2016-01-06
I'm with you man. reddit as a whole is in its death throes I think, and that spills over to all subs. Won't be long before it'll all be over-run with bots posting bullshit and trolling - if we aren't at that point already.
1 rabbits_dig_deep 2016-01-06
We need to have the option to sort by "most downvoted." Cause that's where all the best comments are now.
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2016-01-06
"Controversial" is a decent option. A lot of the posts that show up from it are shit and were downvoted for a reason but you'll also find some with fierce debate or which have tons of great comments yet were buried in downvotes.
1 rabbits_dig_deep 2016-01-06
That has been my experience in "controversial."
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
What's slippery about it? If someone violates the rules, that should be a strike - Regardless of who said it or how old their account is.
1 spays_marine 2016-01-06
I was just going over the mod list this week because quite a few seemed absent, so, good move and welcome to the new additions.
I consider myself a bit too abrasive for such a position so I'll pass on nominating myself.
1 comcast_ebola_tyson 2016-01-06
I nominate myself, and can assist with CSS.
1 jeffwingersballs 2016-01-06
Whatever happens, just please don't let this be the "backdoor" to let SJWs run the subreddit.
1 Flytape 2016-01-06
That won't happen.
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
EDIT: I do not wish to become a mod. I don't have the time, and would probably suck at the job anyway. ;-)
''Every time this topic comes up, I {{{ shudder }}}, just a little.
As most of your know, this sub has dedicated enemies - stealthy, sleazy conniving bastards that would like nothing more than to wrangle a mod position from which they could CENSOR the content of this sub - perhaps the last holdout of an endangered species in the ongoing putrefaction of Reddit.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!"
Choose wisely, my friends, for there are many who have a pernicious agenda - wolves who have been parading in drag for months, if not years - biding their time for the opportunity to WRECK this sub by infiltrating and poisoning, neutering what may well be the last bastion free speech in this sinking, drowning domain called "Reddit".
My hat is off to our current mod team, for their work in maintaining the integrity of the sub. And while I have NO desire to take on such a position, I do exhort all of you to exercise judicious caution when electing new members: Looks can be deceiving, and the enemies are real, stealthy and relentlessly DETERMINED.
God bless.
EDIT: I misspelled putrefaction
I swear it wasn't intentional.
;-)
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
Anything one particular mod does can be fixed by the others.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
How big does it have to be to be considered a bastion?
/r/C_S_T is notoriously free speechey - to a fault (claimed by some of our users).
To date I believe we have yet to remove a post in 9 months (and I know I personally have never removed a comment).
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
I have lurked over there a bit, looks like a great sub.
1 JamesColesPardon 2016-01-06
That means a lot from you my man. It's good to hear.
Truth be told, I've spent far too much time on it - and it didn't come out as I wanted, but it's probably what I needed, and it's a crazy mix if classroom and community where if the only rule is to ignore the user and attack the argument - a syste where inteligent and respectful debate are the only thing to come for, what develops in a system made of conspiracy nuts leads to very interesting results.
My favorite place to be on reddit, by far.
I miss this place, but time spent there has allowed me to grow far more than I expected.
1 User_Name13 2016-01-06
You've got my vote.
You've always been what I would refer to as an /r/worldnews warrior. Fighting the good fight over there in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds.
I got banned from /r/worldnews myself over a year ago with little hope of reversal in the appeals that I've made to the mods over there.
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
Thanks bro, but I'm not interested in modding. You have mine, though. I think you'd do a fine job.
As for worldnews, on certain topics it's a karma slaughterhouse (I do believe in spooks!~), but for me, it's worth it.
1 lucycohen 2016-01-06
I'm the same, there's be some corporate-controlled poster who's been carefully trying to act like a 'conspiracy theorist', they'll make their push at a time like this
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
Wise words. Rest assured that I am well versed in the kind of ploys and schemes that you're warning about here and will be on the lookout for anything dodgy.
I know that you don't want to be a mod but I would support you if you did. You're one of the best contributors to this sub. Keep it up. :)
1 axolotl_peyotl 2016-01-06
The last few times we voted I've made sure to throw your name in the hat.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
This is always a concern and thank you for highlighting it here. The new moderators will be on probation initially and will be asked to to make any big calls or decisions without more experienced moderator input.
1 oregonducks2922 2016-01-06
Can I throw /u/bipolarbear0 's hat into the ring?
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
I'm pretty sure his hats are already in the ring - just under several different user names.
1 Storieswithdad 2016-01-06
I would be interested, But I shill for NOONE. The only thing I care about is stopping the ability of Reddit and its owners to censor people.
The only thing I have to say is this. I value freedom of speech more then I do human life.
1 53595 2016-01-06
I have no idea what it would entail, but I'd be honored.
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2016-01-06
A lot of arguing with trolls, a PM death threat or two... things like that.
1 53595 2016-01-06
Oh ok so the usual thing? I'd be ok with that.
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
So... It's just r/conspiracy as usual?
1 zeropoint357 2016-01-06
I would mod you all with a strong pimp hand, get drunk, and laugh like an evil genius every time I banned a shill. I reckon I'd remove about half of this subs users within 3 hours.
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
150k users banned within that time period would be amazing.
1 zeropoint357 2016-01-06
You'd be top of the list. 0.0005 seconds I reckon.
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
Mmm banning people without them violating the rules, that's not a bad idea at all! Totally not an abuse of power.
1 zeropoint357 2016-01-06
Did my pitch for the job strike you as serious? I make messes. Not clean them up.
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
That's even worse.

1 Rockran 2016-01-06
What did you do to provoke the ban threat?
1 Horus_Krishna_2 2016-01-06
dared to call out obvious paid trolls like a guy who only uses reddit to support monsato.
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
Well that would be in violation of rule 10. Not allowed to accuse people of being trolls or shills.
1 Horus_Krishna_2 2016-01-06
see a bad rule break it. that was put in by ellen paos pals and it is ignored here. they should be banning the paid trolls and praising me.
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
Well the thing is, i'm probably the single most shill-accused person on this sub.
Given calling someone a shill tends to cut discussion in its tracks, I support the rule.
You see it all the time, someone disagrees, that person gets called a shill and a shitfight ensues. It's a total ad hominem and whilst the word has a functional purpose, it's abused in just about every case barring the very few.
You want to mention bad rules? Have a look at rule 2, that's a bad rule.
But breaking the rules is just going to get your post removed by the mods when they're not on holiday, which seems to happen a lot.
1 Horus_Krishna_2 2016-01-06
nah they were supporting monsato 24/7 that is paid troll proof. plus like I said bad rule anyway. this is a big boy board, look at those dumb rules they all get broken. and I think they are getting new mods as an excuse to put more paid trolls in mod positions. this sub is getting killed like rest of reddit. it's fine I unsubsubscribed but am replying to you for who knows what reason. bye.
1 Splax77 2016-01-06
I'm not the user you replied to, but
So you're not allowed to have a strong opinion on something without being a paid troll? I don't see how posting a lot about something is proof of anything, much less being paid to post about said thing. And what would being paid to post in r/conspiracy accomplish anyway? Many users here are notorious for sticking to their easily debunkable delusions, even though the only "proof" they have of their nonsense is some random guy rambling on YouTube, which is apparently the gold standard of proof around here.
If you're just going to call people shills/paid trolls with no proof for no other reason than because they post about things you don't like, you're part of what's wrong with this subreddit.
1 RamenRider 2016-01-06
Naw you shill unimportant stuff. The real shills have something to protect.
1 RamenRider 2016-01-06
But how come you've never replied to me when I asked you your opinion on this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk69wd4Z7Zc

Don't have one.
1 RamenRider 2016-01-06
So you think it was the Muslim couple with the baby and a doctors appointment the next day who gave all that up to shoot up their coworkers who threw a baby shower for them?
1 Rockran 2016-01-06
What part of "don't have one" did you misunderstand?
1 RamenRider 2016-01-06
It was a question. I am quite shocked that you don't have an opinion on this. You always have an opinion on everything and you are always the first one to express it.

I can mod, but the only thing I know how to do is shitpost.
I've been lurking forever though.
1 daneelr_olivaw 2016-01-06
God damn, now I wish I hadn't deleted /u/DaneelR...
Good luck to whoever gets to mod - once you do, make sure to remove all the other online accounts you use that have the same username, otherwise you might get targeted by foul assholes from other subs.
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
Why and when did you delete your account? :(
1 daneelr_olivaw 2016-01-06
On December 27th, I decided I didn't like reddit's new privacy policy. Then I went to /v/conspiracy, noticed that it was shit, and regretted my decision :)
Oh well, I always wanted to be DaneelR_Olivaw (the character from Isaac Asimov's Robots novels), and not just DaneelR :)

Shhhh....

Regarding /u/TheGhostOfDusty
While it's always possible that this was completely innocent in intention, he got called out for some rather odd behavior in a top thread
https://np.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/3yscsb/cia_agent_mark_zuckerberg_wants_fake_internet_for/cyheuqq
It's only one instance, but we will need to watch him closely
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
Everyone please do look closely at my comments in that "top thread" of yours.
1 liverpoolwin 2016-01-06
It was top all day votewise, getting lots of publicity, getting completely bombarded by external attackers. It is times like that when we need to stick together, but instead you pulled a dagger out at that key moment in full public display. None of the other mods would have done that. You helped the enemy that day, their agenda was to make it appear that there was a consensus that the link was debunked, you helped them create that illusion. This sub is heavily under attack, we all need to help our team-mates or we will lose. At this moment you have a lot to learn and much trust to gain before you could be viewed as mod-worthy material. Any new mod here needs to have a long and almost flawless history.
1 zaikanekochan 2016-01-06
I'll put my name into the running. I have limited skills in CSS ( /r/smokersrights ), but have a ton of experience in other areas of moderation (user notes, spam detection, rule enforcement, used to being call scum of the earth, etc etc etc). If you are simply looking for CSS person, I cannot recommend /u/qtx enough, the dude is awesome, and would only need config and flair perms.
My details: 3 year old account, 118k karma, CST.
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
Thanks for the invite guys. :)
I recommend /u/cojoco. He's a great mod who I've worked with for years now. He's expressed interest in modding here to me and is in an Australian time zone too. Almost always shows "true-neutral" behavior.
/u/Canadian_POG is also a stellar moderator and would be helpful here.
I also support /u/smokinbluebear.
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
cojoco is a sjw and would spend a lot of time thought policing here. Thanks but no thanks on that; c'mon now.
POG is a good recommendation indeed.
1 TheGhostOfDusty 2016-01-06
You realize that cojoco mods /r/worldpolitics, right? He's clearly capable of following sub moderation rules regardless of his social views.
1 AssuredlyAThrowAway 2016-01-06
In some contexts yes, but he doesn't have a track record of impartiality in a conspiracy subreddit. He could easily pull a solidwhetstone imo. It would be like emr modding undelete in some ways.
1 Canadian_POG 2016-01-06
I haven't been as active on Reddit as of late but as that's more from a tendency to lurk more often than post, I might consider a mod position. Though I definitely back /u/smokinbluebear and /u/cojoco (if he wants it) as prime choices and more a priority than myself.
In any case, thank you for the endorsement Dusty. :)
1 EnglishIndividual 2016-01-06
I would put my name in the Hat but i'm still 196 karma short.
Maybe a blessing in disguise. I like to change accounts.
1 IntellisaurDinoAlien 2016-01-06
I'd be interested in the position if it's not too late to apply, I have some modding experience and I'm in the UK so could cover the off-hours too.
1 Ambiguously_Ironic 2016-01-06
It isn't, this will be open for at least the next day or two. Thanks for throwing your name in the hat, you'd have my vote.
1 IntellisaurDinoAlien 2016-01-06
Thanks man, it's appreciated. This is by far my favourite sub and I'd welcome the chance to help out as I'm here a lot already. Shame I suck at CSS really :)
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
But you're based in the UK and this is something that the current team need. You're also a trusted contributor with a clean posting history.
1 IntellisaurDinoAlien 2016-01-06
Thanks, I didn't put my name forward last round as I didn't have any meaningful modding experience and was a lot busier with work, that's why I stopped modding highstrangeness ultimately. I'm working part-time from home again now and could definitely dedicate some time to modding here if there's an opening.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
There really isnt much going on with high strangeness to be fair but i appreciated your help at the time. Maybe it is a bit to soon for you here but keep posting and stick around, you never know.
1 IntellisaurDinoAlien 2016-01-06
I still regret leaving to be honest, but I saw you have some decent new mods there now so it's all good. Whatever happens you have some solid applicants here already, as long as it's good for the sub I'm ok whoever gets in.
1 mr_dong 2016-01-06
We are short in the UK so see what happens with the announcement.
1 tvfilm 2016-01-06
I'll do it.
Either way, be careful with user names that have numbers at the end or underscores. Analyze those users more carefully if you make one of those a mod.
Again not all peeps with underscores or numbers at the end are baaaaad. I'm just thrown off at how many underscore user names and numbers at the end are applying to be mods which furthers my theory on them.
Just do a double comb through on those applicants.
If I ran this subreddit, I wouldn't even announce a search, just find the chosen one silently.
Good luck!

I'm a long-time redditor and contributor/commenter on this subreddit. I am English, and live in the UK and am active here several times during the day, notably from 9am - 2pm GMT (which is 4am - 9am EST).
I passionately believe in this sub, and its ethos of allowing free thinking, even when this takes us in uncomfortable directions and/or to unpopular conclusions. I believe /r/conspiracy would be compromised if it ever published a list of "forbidden" conspiracy theories, and I commend the active mods for standing firm on this, and their work in general.
However, as I have said before, I do think the mod team should be tougher on the haters and disruptors who come here to antagonise users and denigrate their ideas. This is sub needs protecting, and that means more (active) mods.
1 cojoco 2016-01-06
I am usually in an Australian timezone (although currently in the uk) and have modded several subs with very different rules without too much drama (e.g. Undelete, worldpolitics, nolibswatch, HailCorporate, ButtCoin, TheBluePill, Blackout2015)

1) We want Moderators who does not censor posts or rig the voting process for political and ideological reasons. All conspiracy theories should be allowed, if they are conspiracy theories, which is the point of this forum. The "crazy" is implied, embrace it!
2) We want Moderators who actually censor none-conspiracy posts, especially the whole anti-Jewish and anti-Israel shenanigans, which has been allowed, by now, to make up about 15% of the volume on this forum.
3) We want Moderators who are mature and patient enough to take care of the r/conspiracy forum. Their job is follow the official rules. The new moderators should be brave enough to stand up to outside pressure.
4) PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE clean out the old moderators, all of them without exception, and make sure the new moderator team somewhat honest and unbiased! It is all about finding the right people for the right job :-)
5) The ever present issue of bots, shills and pundits sabotaging the voting process. They should not be allowed to derail the voting process, effectively censoring certain issues by stealth. It demands vigilance and dedication!
If you are short on hands I Volunteer, without any fuss. I live in Europe (Denmark), CET time zone. I am hard but fair, and I don't pad people on the for the job they are supposed to do!
1 jimmyb207 2016-01-06
So we can be anti-anything except Jews and Israel...OK got it.
1 Denmark1976 2016-01-06
You can be what ever you want, but a post on the r/conspiracy forum should be about conspiracies, not your political views. As long as it is conspiracy theory, I think anything should be allowed.
1 jimmyb207 2016-01-06
Well, I'm sure you know Israel is loaded with conspiracy and has everything to do with why the world is the way it is today going back to Rothschilds, The Balfour Declaration and events that predate that even.
You just can't label every post that involves Israel or Jews as a "political view", therefor its not conspiracy and not allowed. That is precisely the kind of thinking r/conspiracy does not need.
It's your choice...if you see a post about Israel or Jewish conspiracy, don't read it if it bothers you or better yet, why not join the debate and express your point of view against the other commenters.
1 Denmark1976 2016-01-06
There is a very obvious line between all the Anti-Israel & Anti-Jewish posts and the genuine conspiracy posts. More than 90% of the "anti-Israel" posts does not even qualify as conspiracies, even in the most remote sense of the word, which automatically disqualifies them from the r/conspiracy forum in the first place.
I haven't commented on own motives, nor do you have any clue what my standpoint is in regard to Israel and their conflict with the Arabs, PLEASE abstain from Argumentum Ad Hominem attacks!
I am asking the Moderators to do their bloody job, no more no less, and ain't gonna sugar coat it. In r/politics you post about political issues. In r/conspiracy you post about conspiracies, not about politics+religion+Israel. The Conspiracy forum has rules, it would be nice if the Moderator actually followed them! You could of cause device a conspiracy theory about Israel or the Jews, but that is not what we are seeing here in the vast majority of cases.
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
Yes you did. You made your position VERY clear:
Modern Political Zionism began as a conspiracy - initiated in 1897, and engineered and orchestrated by a small group of extremely wealthy and politically powerful European Jews - to create a "Jewish Homeland" in Palestine. The task they set before themselves was utterly monumental, as it required laying their hands on the real estate (then under control of the Ottoman Empire, who was utterly opposed to the scheme) and somehow managing to populate the region with hordes of warm Jewish bodies (most Jews were ALSO utterly opposed to the scheme).
But the Zionists were determined, and 50 years later (after several revolutions and two world wars), the Zionists managed to achieve their goal. Israel is the fruit of that conspiracy, and it is ongoing, as by its very nature, the Zionist State was born incompatible with its neighbors, and has been in constant turmoil since the Zionist Conquest began. Israel relies and has always relied on support from external "allies" to prop-up its existence, and to deal with its enemies, so it in turn relies on the ceaseless efforts of Zionist-minded Jews, living outside of Israel, to influence the foreign policies of these "allies" to serve Israeli interests - which are often INCOMPATIBLE with the interests of the "allied nations" and their peoples.
I'm sure that you would LOVE to see all discussions regarding the machinations of Israel and its Zionist Minions silenced here - so would many other people. In fact, I would venture to say that the majority of the sworn enemies of this sub are primarily motivated by their hatred of such discussion.
Sorry about the long rant, but your caustic call for censorship needs to be called out, as does your equally contemptible call to dissolve the current mod team:
"Unbiased"??? You misspelled Pro-Zionist.
Now run along. Duckvimes___ is calling you.
1 Denmark1976 2016-01-06
1) You know nothing about my stand with the situation in Israel and the Arabs. The Anti-Israel and Anti-Jewish posts being blatantly racist is just a casual observation. They are often outrageously racist. You are not inside my head nor have I ever told you what my perspective on the issue. You are conducting a blatant and childish Ad Hominem attack.
2) I think the current moderator team is biased and does not follow Reddit protocol in regard to the official forum rules. This is my firm opinion. The issue of Israel and the Arabs never entered the equation. My beef is with the Moderator Team and their censorship of any criticism of the intelligence community, corporate owned mass media, mega corporations, TBTF financial institutions, certain political issues and politicians.
3) I don't like fascists, which is why I have often criticized the Communists, Nazis, Zionists and religious organisation like the Hamas, Fatah and Hezbollah. In general I also don't fancy ideologies or organized religion. But I have never bought into the whole "Zionists control the world" theories. That is just crazy talk...
You are a f@@@@@g crazy person, you simply do not know what is going on inside my head, crazy person, because I never told about any of it, crazy person, you just jump to conclusions. Go take your medication!
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
1) You know nothing about my stand with the situation in Israel and the Arabs.
Well, your call to ban all anti-Israel posts gives us a hint, doesn't it?
Let's examine this: Israel is a political entity. Is it possible for criticism of a political entity to be construed as "racist"??? I suppose it is if the political entity is itself racist, being founded on purely racist principles, and continuing to pursue policies that reinforce said principles. THEN I suppose one might see opposition to such a political entity as "racist"... But would it not be more accurate to describe said opposition as being ANTI-RACIST. Why yes, I believe it would.
As to the blatant anti-Semitism that occasionally raises its ugly head in here, there have been several documented instances where agent-provocateurs - enemies of this sub - have intentionally posted viciously racist material in here with the specific intent of DEFAMING the sub: Examples include BipolarBear0 and the infamous troll Joshua Ryne Goldberg. While there are certainly genuine "racists" who pop up in here, I am confident that the vast majority are trolls.
Dude, are YOU accusing ME of ad hominem attacks? LOL - See below.
2) I think the current moderator team is biased and does not follow Reddit protocol in regard to the official forum rules. This is my firm opinion.
Well, your opinion must be based on SOMETHING, right? Lay it out for us. Show where the mods are violating the rules of either this sub, or of Reddit. Make your case.
Not until you raised it, insisting that criticism of Israel be banned.
Are you sure you are not thinking of some other sub? Please show where the mod team has "CENSORED" criticism of ANY of the above. Thanks.
Zionism is an extremely powerful and politically influential force that uses deceptive and subversive strategies to achieve its self-centered goals. This must be recognized and dealt with if we non-Zionists wish to preserve our own interests. This is not racism, on the contrary, it is anti-racist.
And above, you accused me of ad-hominem???
Enough said.
Have a lovely day.
1 Denmark1976 2016-01-06
Criticism of Israel is fine with me, I never said I was against that, just not on the Conspiracy forum because it is supposed to be about Conspiracies, not politics or religion. Those are the rules on the Conspiracy Forum. The moderators are supposed to implement those rules.
You are a bit crazy (The Zionism thing). It is okay my friend, you are on the conspiracy forum, everyone is a bit crazy in here :-D
And you can be racist all you want, I don't mind, but it shouldn't be on the conspiracy forum, find yourself some obscure Reddit sub-Forum where stuff like that is both allowed and appreciated. It is like the difference between the toilet and the living room, they have different purposes.
I still haven't in any way, shape or form written or told you about my stance on Israel, Jews or the Arabs. Those are your somewhat crazy assumptions, not mine. And you can't tell what I think or assume, before I tell you about it. Mkay!
Criticism and racism against the Jews or Israel rarely belong on the Conspiracy Forum. I always enjoy a good conspiracy, the more outrageous the better, but old fashioned racism and poor disguised anti-antisemitism belongs somewhere else. Please read the bloody forum rules before you make a reply!
1 Amos_Quito 2016-01-06
For your convenience, the rules of this forum are posted in the sidebar. > >
Please read them, and copy + paste the part where it says that posts about politics, religion (and Israel) are forbidden here.
Thanks.
I am not offended that you call me crazy. I hope that you will not be offended when I say that your knee-jerk reactions are close-minded and ignorant. :-) Zionists have played a massive (and little known) role in the history of both the 20th and 21st Centuries - a major factor in the outcome of WW1, the run-up to WW2, the staging of the Bolshevik Revolution, the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the "Western" attacks on Iraq, on Libya, on Syria, and much, much more. This is not conjecture. The fact that you may not be aware of these roles is not surprising, as the Zionists do not want their dirty history exposed, and actively suppress any efforts to do so.
I assure you that it is both allowed and appreciated here. Your opinion is in the minority.
The shoe often fits. If you take objection, I suggest that you either ignore those posts that you find offensive, or, as another gent suggested earlier, hop into the discussion and help to dispel those ideas that you feel are being portrayed unfairly.
I did, but apparently you did not, as you seem to have serious misconceptions about said rules, and seem to be confused as to what the term "conspiracy" means.
1 Denmark1976 2016-01-06
You can't read and you don't understand anything. Nice trolling though. Life is hard when you are stupid. End of discussion.

Hi I think I will make a great mod. I'm an expert at censorship and at causing distractions to keep people from working out what is really going on. I can do all time zones. My location is classified.
1 ImNotJesus 2016-01-06
I would love to be a conspiracy mod because I'm very experienced in dealing with conspiracies. From the age of 12 I suspected that my parents weren't my real parents and it turned out that I was right. They tried to censor all of the information but I managed to uncover the truth... eventually. I had to do some things that I didn't want to do but that's the point, I'm committed to the truth and fighting censorship, even if it's my own parents. I'll stop at nothing and no one to fight with you. Sometimes the admins remind me of my parents will all of their lies and censorship. I can't wait to take them down too.
1 WolfgangJones 2016-01-06
My name is /u/WolfgangJones...currently head of Illuminati Inc. since the recent death of Licio Gelli (R.I.P.) at age 96. I'm originally from NewOrleans, but currently (semi) retired in Switzerland (with a cellar full of gold bars stolen from the WTC on 9/11 and an attached guest house where I can keep a close Eye (of Horus, ha-ha) on Pope Benny, a.k.a., "The Rat". Yes, I'm rather old to be hanging out with you wide-eyed whippersnappers here on Reddit, but have extensive insider knowledge of all sorts of conspiracies, starting with the JFK assassination (after all, I learned from the best from an early age [proof]), and still have dirt on leaders from all over the world (hell, I was on the scene in East Berlin back in '84 when "Mad Vlad" Putin first recruited Angie Merkel into the Stasi (more proof). Truthfully, I have A LOT more interesting things to do with my time than to get involved with your (too often) petty, ridiculous squabbles here, but am sincerely sick and tired of reading about how the Jews and Lizard People rule the world when it's actually me (an Agnostic-American Mischhund [equal parts NativeAmerican, European, African and Asian]). The only downside is that I don't know jack about CSS, but I do have plenty of Anonymous connections that can sort that kinda crap out in a flash. So, if you value REAL-time quality control in /r/conspiracy, then vote /u/WolfgangJones. I promise (with blood oath) you won't regret it (unless you get your kiddie-kicks berating users with nasty name-calling and wasting everybody's time with off-topic, irrelevant comments). Yours truly, Wolfie.
P.S. (EDIT) My campaign theme song, what else?

Mods, or sycophants? You have a mod that posts "irrefutable!!!!" crap weekly. It's all refutable, and makes this sub look horrible. Do you want more of that? That's what you are asking for until you clean that "let's make the sub look bad" crap.
1 colinKaepernicksHat 2016-01-06
This can be bad. cry bullies will try to ruin this place like they did the main subreddits by censoring things that go against the narrative.

Edit: I've always been more of a lurker than a poster.

as a dedicated lurker you should be aware that this sub can't afford to put someone with one post in a moderator position.

Everyone please do look closely at my comments in that "top thread" of yours.

Well that would be in violation of rule 10. Not allowed to accuse people of being trolls or shills.

Did my pitch for the job strike you as serious? I make messes. Not clean them up.

But you're based in the UK and this is something that the current team need. You're also a trusted contributor with a clean posting history.
