X-Files 2016 will involve 9/11 as a False Flag plot leading back to Roswell and UFOs, as a means to discredit all the conspiracy theories around 9/11

It's more "conspiracy theory taint" / transfer agit-propaganda from the establishment to protect itself. They are really scared if they have to go this far. We should keep laying on truths, because it causes them to spin their webs as fast as they can, producing quality tv shows in the process. Love the spectacle, live the spectacle.

If we truth hard enough, perhaps they'll reboot firefly and dollhouse to sciwash isis and mkultra respectively.

Well if it gets more people looking into it, they will find that angle isn't very accurate, so in the long run, I think it will help. The mindless folks who take it at face value aren't interested in delving into it deeper anyway. The show will be enough for them.

Exactly, the OP has a tendency to jump to some dubious conclusions.

Like which for example? The cosby thing? I deleted that. How was I supposed to know it was his son's favorite saying. I don't actually care about bill cosby and never did.

Please tell us more about what dubious conclusions OP jumps to. I'd just love to hear your criticisms, especially since I've never seen your username before and youre not taking time out of your day to generate any original content yourself, or having thoughtful discussions other than popping in and saying some glib thing as a shittygenerality

thanks in advance!

In all honesty I was only referring to this and your post 'The US Government as a Conspiracy Theorist'- a fascinating read, but which almost came off as a satirical narrative of itself. There's no question the government as a whole is exhibiting paranoid behavior, which is why I truly appreciated it.

Oh. Thanks, but ...I was confused about the dubious conclusions part.

It's interesting that X-Files is even returning to TV. It was a sizeable part of opening up innocent minds that had no clue there was a large black ops world out there. It will be interesting to see the agenda the show pumps out.

X Files was very heavily plugged into the UFO scene and stories, they slavishly kept to the discredited 'Philadelphia' story of vanishing ship.

only the moronic ignorant UFO peoples believe in the 'Philadelphia Experiment', the reality is disinfo on magnetic degaussing of ships (to counter magnetic mines) in WW2, coupled with misinfo on ships sailing dates and ports of departure.

it was all about stopping German Uboats from ambushing US and allied ships leaving port in early WW2.

just mentioning 'degaussing' to an average non technical person brings up blank looks, try to explain the science and tech behind it brings up more blank looks. (or hostility as some people detest being lectured)

the average person is a lost cause.

the 'Philadelphia Experiment'

Most of the interest around this probably comes from the 'varo edition' of that book, as well as from the involvement of key space program members in the experiment itself. It's certainly an interesting story.

I'd be wary of being so quick to dismiss things, especially when you aren't aware of all the pieces of the puzzle.

its well known to technical/naval students/hobbyists of WW2 about degaussing and shipping misinfo.

stated in B&W in many a book.

Most Secret War by R. V. Jones, or Spycatcher by Peter Wright.

the UFO brigade come across as Homer Simpsons regarding technical stuff.

the US wild hair dude was a body builder trainer dude, Nick Pope a govt propagandist, likely never retired and still working for UKgovt.

How does degaussing help against magnetic mines? Iron and steel are, of course, ferrous materials and subject to attracting magnets.

Care to explain?

Magnetic mines aren't literal magnets with explosives that latch onto ships. Germans developed naval mines with magnetic sensors to determine when a ship was passing overhead. The metal hulls of the ships created a small but detectable increase in the strength of the magnetic field around the mine.

Degaussing was done to cancel out the magnetic signature of ship hulls so the mines couldn't detect them.

You realize that degaussing is a quickly oscillating electromagnetic field, right? I would think that alone would definitely set off the mines as they'd be much, much stronger than the field of the ship itself... or is that what you're saying? That they'd explode, but farther away.

ships acquire the magnetic field lines (polarity) of the dockyard they are constructed in, degaussing removes the effect, they are no longer a massive bar magnet. they become neutral.

degaussing requires monstrous cables wrapped around the ships hull, and large generators providing an alternation currant.

this technique is used on hand tools in some industries, and circuitry used to be installed in modern CRT televisions, either there was a button to do it, or the TV would do it on start up or when some sensor signalled. CRT TVs would adapt to the place and rotation they were used in, so when moved or disturbed they needed degaussing.

Cool info, thanks.

I would think that alone would definitely set off the mines as they'd be much, much stronger than the field of the ship itself

It all depends on the strength of the induced field. The whole idea is to create an opposing field that resets or cancels out the ships normal one. From http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ship/weaps/degaussing.htm:

As the ship moves through the water, this field also moves and adds to or subtracts from the Earth's magnetic field. Because of its distortion effects on the Earth's magnetic field, the ship can act as a trigger device for magnetic sensitive ordnance or devices which are designed to detect these distortions. The degaussing system is installed aboard ship to reduce the ship's effect on the Earth's magnetic field.

Why is this downvoted so? It is true.

So because you know what degaussing is but someone else doesn't, then you know what the truth of the world is? That is interesting.

Dark Skies (1996 X Files clone) did this way back with the JFK affair.

What exact episode will it be?

Actually I was speculating but I just watched the pilot and it was....pretty rad. Actually they did this in the first episode

Spoiler below:

They covered a lot of ground in one conversation, mixing truth with bunk, which is their intended aim. They connected 9/11 to roswell, turning us into ultimate consumers with bad food and water and nearly every conspiracy you can think of rolled into one...including fema camps...and alien replica vehicles that Mulder witnesses as real examples of using zero point energy and antigravity. That's when I knew they were basically winking at /r/conspiracy, making a mockery by mashing it all together. Then scully interrupts as a the pseudoskeptic establishmentarian and tries to run away until she sequences her dna and another girls' somehow to disover they both have alien dna in them...she sequenced them in the matter of hours, apperntly using advanced turbosequencing that's not been invented yet. Also, she doesn't know her nurse-servants name, which is lame.

In another scene, Mulder talked about a climate change scenario that forced the cryptoelite fascists into breakaway civilizations that are preweaponized against the hoi polloi

Society of the Spectacle.

In an empire of illusion.

This won't do anything to discredit the search for truth, if anything it will inspire more to start their own quest.

I heard an NPR blurb the other day, the gist of which was now more than ever is the time to tune in to X-Files. I got to work before hearing the plot, but this sounds spectacular.

The Lone Gunmen (spin-off series) predicted 9/11 and the ensuing rise of the surveillance state the summer before the false flag occurred. Its on youtube for free.

Probably not. What it's going to do is create a generation of grown ups who respond to inquiries about planes flying into buildings by saying, "oh you mean like on X Files".

Of course, to those old enough to have lived through it, it will have no effect either way.

The alternative is the inquiries being met with blind ridicule and scorn.

It's more "conspiracy theory taint" / transfer agit-propaganda from the establishment to protect itself.

This is more than likely true. The Shadow Government Steering Committee has already proven to have that kind of pull in Hollywood, and 'transfer' and 'taint' is certainly their modus operandi.

As I watched the Pilot episode, I felt they were mixing truth and fiction.

In fact, I was pretty damn sure that Gaiam's David Wilcock came in his pants watching XFile's new Pilot, as it seemed as if it was the voice of the Establishment, confessing "The Disclosure" Wilcock's been saying was coming for over a decade. Of course, they mixed in some undesirable brazil nuts of conspiracies into the party mix (fema camps, alien stargate stuff, breakaway civilization stuff, holograms, etc) to make regular non-conspiarcy theory believers (most of the public) realize that this whole thing may sound true but is a fiction--all of it. Even the 9/11 stuff.

You see that's the whole point of the Xfiles reboot. It's not just to make money but it's to make a conspiracy salad that you can hide a brazil nut like 9/11 truth into, so it sinks to the bottom and gets coated with wet dressing mung and addon bits, so you leave it alone in a meh puddle of abandon.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a few CIA consultants on the show working with the writer Chris Carter; or even if the CIA financed the whole miniseries (this season (10) is 6 episode a miniseries btw)

(btw what's most funny is that I like brazil nuts a lot, but most people dont')

Appreciate the breakdown, but you're talking over my (boobtube) head. I mean, I've never watched the X-Files in my life (pretty much stopped watching the tv after a rather (shall we say) illuminating trip in the 80's, although I can still appreciate the occasionally enlightening documentary or film. Further, I wouldn't know David Wilcock from Adam. I prefer to read (always between the lines) histories and biographies and investigative (corruption) reports. That said, you're a good writer...original...and I get the feeling that you've cracked your own share of hard nuts (Brazilian or Wal-nut), too. Otherwise, keep up the good script, and please do give us a heads-up if you ever run into any fo' real body snatchers.

When I saw the announcement for the new x-files I was certain that it was simply going to be used as a means to distort the original message into one much less believable and more on the lines of "crazy and irrational".

Its a consistent theme among many "conspiracy theories" where you will see a legitimate concern over a series of events and then a documentary or an article will appear distorting the original message. For example, there are documentaries out there saying that during 9/11 the planes never actually hit the towers, or that it was jet fuel that caused the tower to collapse. ( the original concern as to whether or not jet fuel could melt steel was a result of molten steel at the base of the tower, not as to whether jet fuel could melt steel beams.)

Keep researching the no plane theory. There is a video of the planes nose poking out the other side of the building after impact, implying they screwed up the cgi work. It was in the original fox news live broadcast.

I can respect when artists use lies to tell the truth.

But this... this is using the truth to tell lies. Sketchy business. I hate how smart they can be.

Couldn't this also work as a tool to expose some of the discrepancies of the official narrative though?
