Adding the Not_SFW filter to the "Stop Resisting" post has effectively censored it from reddit users who use default reddit preferences settings

I was wondering why the "Stop Resisting" post was not showing up in the subreddit, in any queue, under an alt account I recently made.

Keep in mind that by default user accounts have "Make Safe for Work" enabled under the reddit account 'preferences', so when you tag something 'NSFW' you are effectively censoring the topic from the majority of reddit users.

You (The Moderators) need to take that filter / tag off the "Stop Resisting" topic and I think the policy for this sub should be to not use the N.SFW tag for any post that is submitted to the /r/conspiracy subreddit. Technically it is censorship by default and because you put that tag on that submission you effectively censored the topic from the large majority of reddit users who have not changed their default account settings.

Besides, I don't think the submission even qualifies for the NSFW filter since you have to actually go to imgur to see the GIFs in motion and the content does not deserve the N_SFW tag anyway. I think the policy for moderation going forward should be to NOT TAG ANY submission N.SFW...By default.

awesome thanks!

I thought the NSFW tag just hid thumbnails? At least that is what it says.
