Ted Cruz's PR guy who lied about Ben Carson dropping out and is putting the blame on Trump's campaign is the founder of a professional shilling company.

He is the founder of Applied Memetics, LLC and also happens to be an ex-CIA counter terrorism officer. His company has been hired by the US Army in the past, and has ties to George Soros, although somewhat distant. It's completely obvious at this point that Cruz's campaign is using dirty, underhanded tricks to undermine Trump's campaign. This is probably the start of a large online smear campaign funded by Cruz's campaign.

So, looking for "Applied Memetics DARPA" I found this and, what a coincidence, from Virginia.
TUTORIAL: MILITARY MEMETICS
THIS IS A 150 PAGES PRESENTATION ABOUT MEMETICS IN THE CONTEXT OF "SOCIAL MEDIA DEFENSE SUMMIT"
Get it here: http://www.robotictechnologyinc.com/images/upload/file/Presentation%20Military%20Memetics%20Tutorial%2013%20Dec%2011.pdf
SAVE IT BEFORE IT GETS TAKEN DOWN
Lots of research on mememancy, from a materialistic and manipulative pov of course.

I've been browsing through these documents and it appears that the most viable option for psyops in the future is memes made via an AI for propaganda purposes. Memes currently allow users to alter their own culture freely and are based on popular trends and jokes, not government policy. A way to divert control of public opinion on the internet social networks from the users to being directed by government psyops could be outright censorship to quell opposing viewpoints altogether(Net Neutrality, CISPA, TPP, etc.). And as far as future AI's creating memes to shape public opinion, isn't subreddit simulator a beta test for memes made by AI via Makarov chains?
