Interesting chess move by RT
3 2016-03-01 by flyyyyyyyyy
they put out a video about the journalist being choked by the ss agent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKvBWgQyy7I
but they cut it short, cutting off the part where the journalist grabs the ss agent's neck afterwards, which biases the story.
this puts cnn/bbc/fox/etc in an interesting position. is it better propaganda to expose rt slanting the news? or is it better to just ignore the video?
your move, corporate media.

I don't see any choking
2 flyyyyyyyyy 2016-03-01
yeah they don't show that part either. (actually i wonder why.?) it wasn't really a choke - the ss agent grabbed him by the throat and slammed him to the ground. probably a krav maga move - takes real contempt to do that shit to somebody if your life's not in danger.

I mean surely he didn't just walk over and choke slam a random journalist right? What's the context?
5 flyyyyyyyyy 2016-03-01
nah the reporter tried to leave his little 'free speech zone', the ss agent tried to stop him, the reporter said 'fuck youuuuu' and bucked his chest against the ss agent...
...THEN the ss agent throat-slammed the guy. totally uncalled-for level of aggression - not like the reporter had a knife or gun. (and the agent probably did.)
it's like punching somebody out for stepping on your shoe.

Yea i suppose you could say that if you weren't tasked with protecting the president of a leading nation from threats. Sounds like he got overly aggressive in a place he clearly shouldn't have and the SS agent neutralized a perceived threat. Maybe he should have placed the reporter in a different hold but I don't think it was like he was trying to cause grievous injuries

let me slam you by your throat, see what you think.
a free country doesn't treat their free press like this. nor any citizen. the ss agent has no more rights than the reporter, nor does trump have any more rights. government is using violence to restrict our first amendment rights.
all men are created equal.

If I bucked and said fuck yooou to a secret service agent at this type of event then i would expect that treatment. You buck at me anywhere and say those words YOU can expect that treatment.

then you're a psychopath. just so you know.

Oh that's the one and only qualifying factor, thanks doc. Mind if I see your degree?

you don't kill somebody because they hurt your widdle feewings.
goddamn what a little bitch you are on the inside.

he could have. i guess gouging out his eyes is fair game too in your book. you should go into law enforcement. they love insecure little psychopaths

Why are you so upset? The reporter provoked a physical response from another human being with disrespect and threatening posture. He knows this man is trained to act accordingly to being physically threatened. The reporter is only human after all and humans although "created equal" as you say, humans do not react in equal measure to all things regardless of circumstance. This is at it's base form, is a man disrespecting another man verbally and posturing himself threateningly toward him. That other man reacted accordingly, within his training to non-lethaly subdue the threat.

if you think 'disrespect' warrants a potentially lethal response, then you are a broken little bitch inside. not as an insult, but as a statement of fact: your ego is fucked and it needs to be fixed.
go train some brazilian jiu jitsu and develop some self-confidence before you get somebody hurt, probably yourself

Are you trolling or do you think that having your opinions logically debated warrants name-calling? Which one of us is a bitch? The one getting mad that someone has valid points on an internet forum? Or the one with perfectly reasonable points that take into account the fact humans knowingly bring violent confrontation upon themselves like this reporter? Again, the reporter did not step on the SS guy's shoe in a gas station. He did this at a place where his actions are highly inappropriate.

aint mad, you're just a psychopath with a broken ego and very poor judgement if you would possibly kill somebody for hurting your fragile feelings.
2 euwhajavb 2016-03-01
You keep saying psychopath, but I don't think you know what that is. I'd like to see you present the evidence that makes me a psychopath as it is defined. I am created equal as you, no? Could you not resort to calling names and trying to make completely unfounded personal attacks? It makes your case weaker when you do this.
1 flyyyyyyyyy 2016-03-01
dude it's not a lethal force situation. it's like tasing somebody because you're pissed at em. i'm not calling names; i'm telling you that is psychopathic behavior.
1 euwhajavb 2016-03-01
That was not lethal force. Clearly non-lethal. Also, you did call me names. You called me a bitch lol so...why u lyin
edit:
let me refresh your memory on the side-bar - "This subreddit is a thinking ground. Above all else, we respect everyone's opinions[...] This is a forum for free thinking, not hate speech. Respect other views and opinions, and keep an open mind."

slamming somebody by their throat? hell no that's complete bullshit. psychopathic behavior.
1 euwhajavb 2016-03-01
Do you have footage of the actual physical choke? I feel like you are very adamant about how bad this was, as if the intent was to kill this man, but from this little clip it doesn't look like he had any substantial injuries nor was that the intent.

anytime you slam somebody to the concrete they can hit their head and die. that's why judo is so nasty, real world.

They showed the journalist grab the agents neck on the corporate news I watched. The corporate news is very pro authoritarianism, therefore they always side with the cop/authority figure.
0 flyyyyyyyyy 2016-03-01
haha damn yep that's a good move for them. will rt respond? they could show the full clip to prove corporate media is pushing the authoritarian slant.

A fouled mouth long haired tribal journalist lipped off to the wrong sociopath and got bitten...he's lucky he didn't get neutered. SS agents aren't the cream at the top...they are the failure puss that sits at the bottom...
1 make_mind_free2go 2016-03-01
the photographer 'grabbed' the agent's throat in protest of what the thug agent had done, he didn't threaten the man, the thug grabbed him & threw him on the floor.
edit: watch the video from the beginning.
