You can tell just how much power Israel holds by the number of countries and jurisdictions that are quickly passing laws to prevent people from publicly advocating for a boycott of Israeli exports.

There are plenty of red flags with this group of people. They disproportionately occupy key positions in Hollywood and finance next their percentage of the population. They have laws against questioning a historical event that brings them much sympathy. They get over countries to stop citizens from boycotting the country that unabashedly supports them, Israel. They call outsiders to their in group derogatory names, goyim, gentiles. They can't be criticized without oneself being label antisemitic, which can end careers. The richest, most influential banking family in history is intimately connected with them and Isreal, the Rothschilds. There are many more red flags. I am suggesting they collude to serve each other over the needs and wants of others.

Agreed. This is only going to anger more people and give the impression that the establishment is compromising our 1st amendment rights in order to please the chosen ones.
It was popular and cool to boycott South Africa over their Apartheid regime...but because Israel has special status and their "god given" right to treat the Palestinians like animals, our pussified congress Zionist asslickers will give them literally anything they want. That includes unconstitutional laws that that give rights to the Israelis while taking away the rights of the people.

It's illegal to pass such laws in the US because it violates the 1st amendment.
4 Tunderbar1 2016-03-02
And yet, they still pass the laws.
2 Rotundus_Maximus 2016-03-02
Break the law, have something happen to you or your company, sue government, never work again.

More important is the fact that they've gotten felony holocaust denial laws passed in Europe, while the nation of Israel officially denies the Turkish genocide of 1.5 million armenians. This fact alone should raise serious alarm bells in the International community.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS Movement) is a global campaign attempting to increase economic and political pressure on Israel to comply with the stated goals of the movement

As the OP making the claim, why aren't you providing your sources?

Are you incapable of doing a simple Internet search?
-1 CelineHagbard 2016-03-02
Not at all; that's not the point. You made this post with a claim, namely that a number of countries are passing anti-BDS laws, yet you didn't provide any sources to back up this claim. You didn't name the countries, or even give a number of them. You haven't even done the minimum here to make this a quality post; it's just an assertion.
I happen to agree with your assertion, and have searched this out in the past. The point is, if you're going to make a post here, it's up to you to back up your argument. Many more people will be informed if you listed the countries passing such laws, than just telling them to google it.

My original post was intended to make a simple point that many people may not have caught. I posted it under the assumption that the people in this sub are not idiots and if they wanted details, they are capable of doing simple Internet searches. I'm sorry that you did not fit my assumptions. Obviously my post wasn't directed at you.
