Preferbly related to the Catholic church but any would be interesting to watch.

Zeitgeist is a good one http://youtu.be/pTbIu8Zeqp0

I have seen that (and the 2 follow ups). Is there anything similar?

You could try "The Enigma Channel". I think you have to pay like $25 to see all the documentaries, but I have heard they are excellent.

What part of it?

Catholicism?

Anything really I suppose apart from the child abuse cover ups, I've read/watched too much about them in the past.

Thank you! I'll have a look through.

You're welcome. It's a self post I made with text and videos about Catholicism. I should note, I'm an ex-Catholic. Not sure if you are Catholic or not. Kind of sounds like you are?

I was baptised Catholic as a baby, went to Catholic school but I haven't practised for well over 20 years.

I still have an interest in the history of religion, all religion, and I've read bit about the Vatican and it's influence for example but I'm curious to see how far it goes with regards to Catholicism's influence on general life.

You sound like me. I think that post is right up your alley then. Cheers!

The Tom Hanks film?

[deleted]

I might check it out sometime. I did enjoy the film to be honest.

The book is far better than the film because the amount of detail re conspiracies that Brown puts in the book is one reason why 80 million copies have been sold. Brown melded fact/fiction extremely well. Many readers went bonkers searching the interwebs for hidden meanings, clues, etc. There is more to the book than many people realize.

Why some dismiss it as a crappy book is really puzzling. Some say that the Catholic church has been responsible for the vast majority of nasty reviews that ridicule not just the story but the author, plus people have strong, intractable religious views and believe the Da Vinci Code challenges their beliefs....but all that aside, as you are looking for something dealing with conspiracies within religion....it's the best book I can think of.

Last idea...there are books dealing with the Shroud of Turin (which, by the way, has never been confirmed to be a medieval hoax) that involve conspiracies and shady dealings attributed to the Church. I think one very interesting (if somewhat scholarly)book is "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" : the secret history of Christ and the Shroud, about the attempted cover-up and secret efforts to ridicule the Shroud. Hope this info helps.

which, in fact, has never actually been confirmed to be a medieval hoax

I thought they'd done carbon dating or something similar? Do you have any more information regarding this?

And do you mean the book by book by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln?

For now a quick summary - The carbon tests were done on samples taken from (or close to) the edges of the shroud. The church would not, understandably, allow samples to be taken from the image itself. But what evidently was not considered was that after a fire that singed the shroud, the edges were repaired in the 1300s which, of course, matched the tests that indicated the shroud was a medieval-era "forgery." There is, however, much newer evidence that the shroud clearly is not a forgery and definitely not a painting or any form of "applied medium" to create the images. Hope this helps.

Completely.

I was always under the impression the dating was a bit more thorough considering it's one of the most well known artifacts associated with Jesus.

If you do have any more resources about this I'd love to read/watch them.

Carbon dating is notoriously inaccurate.

Shadows of Motion

Muslim perspective on the NWO and hows its related to the end times.

I don't know too much about Islam. Would this effect my viewing of this?

Islam is continuation of religion since Adam. Islam's scripture Koran discusses Jesus and clear his name and his mother's Mary which was tainted by Pharisees.

Also for end times you can see Imran Hosein lectures as well.

This is very interesting.

Do you know of any more like it?

Yeah I wanted to post one other but couldn't remember the title. I'll see if I can find it.

Brilliant, thanks!

This was the other video I wanted to post

If you just want Jesuit conspiracies Eric Jon Phelps is your guy.

Here's something on the Medici as well. They purchased the Papacy.
