I know things aren't always as they tell us, but I can assure you that these are real people, and their lives have actually been ended. I saw a friend of mine distraught on the local news because they couldn't find one of his friends after, and that person is now among the dead.
And I know you are real and truthful how? Look it was a real event but how it exactly went down and was executed is up for debate so anything like this could be clues. It's a fucked world anymore but we musty be critical at moments like this.

Right... confirmation bias. Just like 9/11 there was training drills for the exact event that happened, oh and on 7/11, and on Sandy Hook, and Boston Bombing, and every other major terrorist event / active shooter. Oh wait, does it still count as confirmation bias when your confirmation is an accurate representation of reality? At what point does it become just obvious?
