Getting Off Reddit
40 2016-06-17 by [deleted]
I am so stuck here. I had a nice 8 year account deleted it around the time voat came out. Been back and forth with short lived accounts until I get so disheartened I delete it again.
I wish there was a better alternative but have yet to find one. There is some good here still, I think, but it gets harder and harder to sift it out.
I wish there was a good, correct the record free place to share news and conspiracies. But maybe like this president election this is the best we have. Sad.
Anyway to those sharing good information and good comments thanks.

This place is overrun with shills and hasbara trolls. Unfortunately I have a lot of down time at work and read reddit to kill the boredom. But more and more I find it just makes me angry so I'm trying to find other stuff to do now instead

I've started refinishing old furniture. One large pie cabinet and a smokers cabinet in just three weeks of Reddit time.

I like that Reddit time. Sounds like dog years. :)

If you've got a lot of down time, then I wouldn't exactly call it work, whatever it is you're doing.

I've utilized this site as a legal writer and in IT, there's too much downtime in the white collar 8 hour day to not go to some news aggregator.

Yeah, lotta shit but every day I find good stuff and smart comments. I got here late, so I missed the glory days. Then again, I see more and more people "waking up" every day -- Orlando was a major fuckup, sorry Deep State -- so maybe these are the glory days.

can the last Redditor please turn off the light behind him?

You could always pick a topic you like, research it well and then write it up. We'd appreciate that. You have to be the change you want to see in reddit.

You are right, I should.

Yeah, but it gets really old and tiring. I know this is the main idea, but knowing doesn't make it less annoying... =/

That is mainly it. It's fun to a point. I try to leave but it is like Hotel California. I just will stay until it is totally dead.

Except that the entertainment is tainted too.

I suppose you just have to be adamant about posting intelligent responses, posting helpful resources, and fact checking before you upload any articles or anything. The community tends to blame everyone else that's a part of it. If you/we want change, we have to be held accountable as well!

I made a sub a while ago to post about and discuss the latest conspiracies as they happen. The thinking behind this is to be able to more easily keep track of relevant information when a false flag/psy-op/hoax takes place. It's not active but maybe we can get it going:

Try /pol on the chans. There's dozens of Chans to choose from and pol is usually the biggest board.

there's always 4chan

4chan is what you are looking for

If the light is growing dim, shine a brighter light. You are needed!

Reddit is the best place for this information and will remain so until they take the internet away. Everyone who has run away to voat, ragequit, or was scared into readonly and then into not coming back at all, didn't have either enough faith in this community or enough committment to it. That's ok, they are welcome back at any time. But those who told other people they are quitting and gave reasons beyond their own personal reasons--for example to convince others there's nothing they can do about the future so they should 'get on with their lives' is certainly part of the control grid whether they know it or not.
In the case of not knowing, well you were tricked by an adversarial culture whose imperative to statusquotarianism is increasingly at odds with Justice and truth. So if that's the case, we forgive you, but try harder next time.

I hear people complain about Reddit constantly, and I'm not saying it's not without its problems. I'll pose a challenge for you though: pick your favorite conspiracy, take to Facebook and befriend people with the same interest as you. You'll find Reddit feels downright intellectual compared to FB. The idiocy is painful.

Don't have Facebook. But I am sure you are right.

Oh man, the mind control "victims" over there are totally insane. I won't discount the possibility that they've been driven mad, but I'd wager almost anything that psych meds could solve a world of problems over there.
I've researched extensively on psychotronic weapons and have tried close to a dozen psych drugs. Seems like the logical thing to do. These people are convinced there are literally hundreds of people following them around their neighborhoods and won't even consider medical intervention.
I also only post from reputable sources. They're citing stuff from sites like Weekly World News.
Sad state of affairs.

Try /r/uncensorednews. The shills aren't there, yet.
1 austinitise 2016-06-17
Just visited. Yes they ARE there yet.
0 CantStopWhitey 2016-06-17
What makes you say so?
1 RamenRider 2016-06-17
Maybe because he went there haha.
