The people whose era is coming to an end want you to believe we're all doomed, but only they are.
The world is turning into something. None of us know what it is. I too have a sense many will die, but that is what the media sells us and religions tell us.
There does seem to be a crescendo approaching. I suspect it will hit before the election.
The petrodollar is ending, which is no small thing. It's unlikely the US juggernaut will be able to fight the wars which hold the NWO together without it; barring some undisclosed magic trick of private central banking, it will be like Rome collapsing in on itself, but in tens, instead of hundreds, of years.
You know, this feeling is nothing new. People have been convinced the world is coming to an end soon all the way back in the 1700s, maybe even earlier. Some people spend their entire adult lives world about the end of the world coming soon, then they die in a hospital bed alone like every other asshole. Maybe this feeling the world is going to end soon is some sort of psychological defense against not wanting to die alone.
'Nay, I do not think I will come up. But listen,Saruman, for the last time! Will you not come down? Isengard has proved less strong than your hope and fancy made it. So may other things in which you still have trust. Would it not be well to leave it for a while? To turn to new things, perhaps? Think well, Saruman! Will you not come down?' - Gandalf
“Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen." -- Jesus Christ, Matthew 21:21
Socrates: Well, but are you and I expected to praise the sentiments of the author, or only the clearness, and roundness, and finish, and tournure of the language? As to the first I willingly submit to your better judgment, for I am not worthy to form an opinion, having only attended to the rhetorical manner; and I was doubting whether this could have been defended even by Lysias himself; I thought, though I speak under correction, that he repeated himself two or three times, either from want of words or from want of pains; and also, he appeared to me ostentatiously to exult in showing how well he could say the same thing in two or three ways.
Phaedrus: Nonsense, Socrates; what you call repetition was the especial merit of the speech; for he omitted no topic of which the subject rightly allowed, and I do not think that any one could have spoken better or more exhaustively.
Soc.: There I cannot go along with you. Ancient sages, men and women, who have spoken and written of these things, would rise up in judgment against me, if out of complaisance I assented to you.

An era is coming to the end.

What most people are failing to note is that this "awakening" is likely a clever gambit to advance the endgame.

"Gambit" is the key word here. No telling how this will play out.
"A device, action, or opening remark, typically one entailing a degree of risk, that is calculated to gain an advantage."

The US leaving the US would be ideal.

1984-1949=35, 35+1984=2019
Eh we still have a few years. Don't worry.
Just kidding. Unless I turn out to be correct in which case I will come back and erase this last part and pretend I knew the whole time

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

This period of time (pre-whatever) is a chance for us to get right with those close to us, ourselves and whatever you think God is.
It's a time to re-evaluate what's important, and what's worth holding on to.

There is really only one decision to make in your heart.
Decide where you stand - do you stand for good, or evil?
2 [deleted] 2016-06-27
I just hope there are enough good people still standing.

I feel like we should start grouping up in cities near each other?

Trust not those who parlay in doubt.
